Sailed on the Oasis for its transatlantic sailing. Looked forward to this cruise for over a year. It was a terrible disappointment. We had sailed on the Oasis and Allure several times and thoroughly enjoyed each cruise. We spent more time waiting in lines starting with our landing in Heathrow (3 hour wait for the bus to take us to the ship) arriving in Southampton to start a 2 1/2 hour wait to board the ship. Crowds of people were waiting with little or no information coming as why the terrible delay. Disembarking the ship in Fort Lauderdale was even worse. The crew was understaffed and could not control the departure numbers. We left the ship 3 hours after our estimated departure time. The Oasis is a truly warm water ship and when you can't be out in the open (pools and shows) the interior lounges cannot handle the amount of people. Some elevators were not operating properly which meant more waiting. Getting to see the shows required a wait in long lines even with reservations. The food was great after we waited in line to be seated. Have reservations to sail on the Allure on 10/25/15 if we can be assured some of these problems will be eliminated.

Cabin Review

Cabin 10616
The cabin was great and our stateroom attendant was excellent. The balcony was fine but did not get to use it often.
