I chose this cruise do to the location of the port. This was the first cruise for me and my daughter and I can not say enough good things about Enchantment of the Seas and Royal Caribbean. The Royal Caribbean team was awesome everywhere on the ship and at Cococay. We had no idea what to expect for our first cruise and were both amazed at how awesome it was. I have read many reviews that have stated watch out it’s addictive.....well it’s true we are hooked. We only had one thing happen that was out of anyone’s control, our parasailing was canceled at Cococay due to high winds. Without even asking it was applied to my Seapass account. When I went to settle my account the last night of the cruise I was pleasantly surprised to find they paid me back in cash for my canceled excursion. We did Seahorse Sail and Snorkel in Nassau and it was amazing. To summarize I would definitely recommend Royal Caribbean and Enchantment of the Seas to everyone. Thank you everyone at Royal Caribbean making this cruise Amazing!! Read Less

High Points: great bar staff, this itinerary has very late all aboard times, so we got to have huge full days! Low Points: 1: main dining room food is really terrible. We tried several different options, seafood, beef, pasta and Chicken. All truly terrible. We also got sat at a HUGE table by the door. There were two of us. It was kind of embarrass to have everyone staring at us going in and out. The Windjammer has a ton of options, many of which really were fantastic. Definitely better than the dining room. Cococay: fabulous as always. It’s my personal favorite private island. We saw two nurse sharks, a stingray, barracuda and many smaller fishes. We rented a beach bed. It was a fabulous upscale day. You are driven to that beach from the tender. The beds are very nice and comfortable. The views are amazing. Lunch is delivered to you and there’s four liters of Evian on ice waiting for you. I will say that the lunch delivered was not as good as the food I would have gotten on the buffet. I had fish tacos. They’d been sitting for a while, so the shells were part stale and part soggy and fell apart. Almost everyone was there to relax and enjoy some peace on the private beach... except the family next to us. There was a ton of screaming and wrestling and lively party behavior. I don’t think it’s wrong, just odd to come to this setting away from the party where everyone else was trying to relax and enjoy the quiet. Definitely inspired us to snorkel more than we had planned to. There is a bar right there for us with no line. There is waiter service, but it was really infrequent, despite starting the day with a nice tip. They also never added ice to the open coolers with the water in them, so the water got very warm. Nassau: we scheduled a tour to Clifton Heritage National Park. It was amazing and a great deal as well. I’m planning to review that in detail on TripAdvisor. As usual getting on and off the boat in port and in Port Canaveral was very easy and fast. RC definitely wins on that above Disney and NCL. The boat itself was very nice. It is showing some signs of age, but I didn’t think it was a problem. The running track is up on top. Which is very nice. You get to see the fun and listen to music while running. But it is very hot and sunny, so remember a hat! The gym was medium sized and had lots of equipment. I didn’t work out there, but I certainly would have. The solarium is the adults area with a pool. It has a bar and the park cafe. It is warm due to the glass ceiling and all around, but it is air conditioned. So is not terriblly Hot. Very nice place to relax. The bands were all great. Great song selection, very fun! I found the volume to be so incredibly loud that I had to shout at my husband if we were anywhere near the live music, so I didn’t spend as much time enjoying the bands as I would have liked. The bar service was very quick on this ship, which was a lovely surprise after terribly slow service on the Majesty last year. The drink quality is SIGNIFICANTLY better in the specialty bars as opposed to the pool deck. It’s not a problem for simple drinks, but anybof the delicious specialty cocktails are best to get indoors. We really enjoyed the trivia games this time. We don’t normally participate in them. They were fun and lively. The cruise director was Fantastic! The prizes were really lame though. We won one and got a pen. The adult game show style activities at night were fantastic. I laughed so hard I cried at every one of them. Truly a high point. The smoke smell is very strong on the deck with the casino. For those who don’t like it, there are doors to walk around on the deck. But on one side it’s the outdoor smoking section. So if you prefer to avoid the smoke, use the side with the even number muster stations. Read Less

The main dinning room was great . And as always the casino was a winner for us. Main stage singers has great voices. The food and service and cleanliness was up to par overall. We didn’t take any kids this time and stayed on 8th floor in junior suite. The room was great and housekeeper invisible, called us by name. He kept my ice in the room full. The inside of the ship was very clean and the majority of the staff was outstanding. Our cabin was kept very clean with fresh towels and ice delivered every day. The food in the main dining room was very good and the quality of food at the Windjammer was above average. As with other cruise lines, the bar/waiter staff on the pool deck is relentless. Most people want to spend their time by the pool soaking up the sun, reading a book or taking a nap but this is very hard to do when the staff continually asks you about wanting/needing drinks. The exterior of the ship needs some updating and a new paint job. We have been on many other ships and this ship was very poorly maintained with rust spots everywhere and it appeared they were not doing any upkeep in this area. Also, the Balmoral Island Beach Break excursion was very loud with a DJ playing rap music and there could not be any relaxation as all you heard was the loud and obnoxious music. Read Less

There were many factors that were not pleasing. As a first time cruse for me and my wife, I think we will try another cruse line for our next trip. Royal Caribbean was recommended to us by friends, and we lack the experience to compare, but it wasn't what we expected. 1). Our room smelled terrible when we first arrived. 2). Since we travelled alone we relied mainly on the photographers to take our pictures so we could purchase them later. Well we didn't receive the paper that informed us of the deadline to pick up the pictures, until after the deadline.. I do believe it was in our room when it was supposed to be, but we didn't stay in our room, we tried to enjoy the ship and the off shore adventures. So we are highly disappointed that we didn't get to purchase our pictures. and to add insult to injury, we even visited the photo shop the night before the deadline (not knowing about the deadline), and there was no one in the shop to answer question or give us any assistance. The off shore excursions were horrid. When we arrived at Nassau, we were told to stand in one location until our escort arrived... which was a terrible lie. We stood there until anyone on the boat who wanted to go snorkeling purchased their tickets. I pre-purchased my tickets on-line and was on the last boat (out of 3) to leave. my wife and I stood on the scorching hot blacktop from 12:15 till 2:15. Our appointment was for 12:45. Not only did we leave late, we arrived back late. Once we arrived back to the island (LATE), we discovered all the shops had already closed for the day. A HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT!! I own 2 companies and a non-profit. I was amazed at the lack of administrative organization. If I ran any of my entities the way I witnessed Enchantment of the Seas ran, I would be out of business. I feel that the main focus on the ship was to extract as much money as possible from each person while not being concerned about their personal experience. Read Less

We choose RCCL because of our loyalty for each other. This cruise was an introduction to our grandchildren. I felt comfortable with the “safe” destinations especially the private island of Coco Cay. Our grandchildren are 16 yrs and 14 yrs old. They enjoyed the teen program which gave my husband and I time for ourselves also. Service in the formal dining room was great. Linen tablecloths and napkins still carry a lot of “class”. The waiters cleaning up the breadcrumbs from the tablets a statement the kids noticed. Even though we were on ‘MY TIME’ dining the waiters remembered us! The food was good and our grandson was satisfied with the beef served! Our cabin steward took care of us. The bed was as comfortable as always. Good variety of entertainment and daily activities onboard the ship. As Diamond members we were offered a “quiet” cocktail party each night. We only attended twice for an hour or so but it was nice to be recognized for our loyalty and made to feel special. The shore excursions have gotten much too expensive. It seems the island people are demanding too much or RCCL is making money on the excursions as well. Maybe you could consider offering early booking discounts or credits for frequent cruisers. Thank you for NOT disappointing us. The kids agree, we would like to make this an annual family event. Read Less

Excellent experience on this ship! The service from the stateroom attendant, to the dining attendants, as well as the guest service agents at the port was outstanding. Everyone was very accommodating and friendly. The entertainment on board was fantastic, and family-friendly. There was a variety of things for everyone to do. However, we felt the youth program on board for ages 9-11 was not that great. Our daughter felt the program was really geared toward younger children. Our teenage son thought the teen program was “just ok”, and only participated one day. I overheard another parent say their 12 year old felt the program wasn’t that great and didn’t want to participate either. It’s a hard age to please!! But our kids really liked the pool, which is surprising because it was very small. Our kids also enjoyed the family-friendly comedy acts on board. And thankfully we brought Uno cards for them to stay entertained when not in the pool (bring something for your kids to do - cards, game, etc - to keep them busy during down time). Remember you have to pay for WiFi if you want internet access, so unless you pay extra for that.. no cell phones!!! Which I thought was great - actually having a conversation with my teenager was SO nice! ;) We went to the Blue Lagoon Beach in Nassau. There was a cost associated to go to that beach (which included lunch), and once there, they had available: hair braiding, aqua bikes to ride, animal interactions, an aqua park for kids, kayaking, and a few other things...BUT everything you do on the island cost extra!! We also went to CocoCay Beach, which is owned by RCCL, and it didn’t cost extra to go to that beach, however everything you do at the beach cost extra. We took a snorkeling excursion from CocoCay, which was incredible!!! Read Less

This was my first cruise and I was expecting the ship to be modern and swanky but the ship itself is very dated, also rusty on the outside. We didn't opt to upgrade our room as we weren't cruising for the stateroom but I will add that the queen/king bed is actually two twin beds pushed together and not that comfy. The food was overall very good but having different options offered each day would have been nicer. I felt somewhat bored while aboard because there wasn't much to do except eat, drink, and gamble. The entertainment was "eh" and somewhat cheesy. The ports of call were exactly like you would expect...Nassau: hounded to death to buy stuff and CocoCay, the RC island, was really more of the same experience as the boat, only with a beach. To be fair, a friend had planned the trip, I just went along. IF I ever cruise again, I would pay as close of attention to the ship details as the ports of call. The one thing I would add is that the staff were all AMAZING! Lastly, please know that while your trip is paid in advance, drink package included, you will be assessed a per person daily gratuity charge as well as housekeeping fee so be prepared for a bill at the end. I was a little worried when we booked this cruise because I couldn't find any recent reviews and most reviews only talked about how dated the ship looked. I shouldn't have worried. The cruise was wonderful! We had a great time! We chose this cruise so that we could spend a couple of nights at the Universal theme parks before we left and so that we could stop in the Bahamas because we have not ever been there. We had a Junior Suite on the back of the ship and our room was plenty spacious. Our room attendant was very attentive and kept our room perfect. We did My Time Dining and two nights we made reservations and the third, we just showed up. We never had to wait and the food in the main dining room was excellent. (Better than Carnival two years ago!) We took the Yacht Snorkeling and Turtle tour which was a lot of fun. Captain Eddie got us to where the sea turtles hang out and we got to see them before the other boats arrived and scared them away. The yacht was a lot of fun to ride. We sat at the front on the top deck. They had drinks and snacks available to us and got us back to the ship so that we could get ready for our afternoon excursion. The next day, we rented a private cabana on Coco Cay. Our teenage children headed out to parasail and my husband and I hung out in the ocean on the rafts that they provided. It was nice having the private buffet and bar where you didn't have to fight the crowds. Read Less

We chose this cruise for my husband, myself and our 10 year old son. We had heard some great things about Adventure Ocean and were excited for our son to have some fun on his own so that my husband and I could have some time together. This cruise definately had some pros and cons. We originally booked a stateroom with a balcony but were contaced by Royal Caribbean to upgrade to a Jr. Suite for $400.00. We accepted the upgrade and were very happy with the size of the stateroom. The attendant was also exceptional and accomodating. We loved the towel animals everyday! The downside was this room, 8126, was directly below the Solarium pool with tile floors and tables and chairs. All day and all night, we heard chairs and tables being moved and scrapped against the tile flooring. This was really bad for sitting out on the patio and for sleeping. We contacted Guest Services about the noise and they said they sent an email for the cleaning crew but we still heard the noise every night. My family had to use ear plugs and that still did not block out all of the noise. So, the worst part of this cruise was the noise level in this Junior Suite stateroom that I paid extra for. Next, the kids club, Adventure Ocean, was really important to us. My son loved the activies and wanted to go everyday except for the second day. When I picked him up he was in tears and said the instructor was mean to him. I went back inside to speak to her and she said he was being too loud and not following instructions. I felt this was a little harsh for a kid's club on a cruise ship. I contacted Guest Services and the manager offered to meet our son outside of the club to discuss the issue because he did not want to go back. This was a nice touch but overall, I think the main issue was that the rooms for the kids club were not large enough and they had to combine the age groups of the kids. I felt this was misleading because they stress having different age groups (9-11 year olds will be seperate from 6-8 year olds) but this did not happen. Of course you will have issues when smaller and larger kids are forced to play together in a small room. Overall, we thought the service was very good. The food in the main dining room was good and we loved the food at Chops restaurant. This was definately worth the upgraded charge. We bought the Deluxe Drink package and thought this was very much worth the cost although it's expensive. If you have a few drinks at the pool and at dinner, it will pay for itself. You can also get speciallity coffee drinks included so it's really a no brainer. I was surprised at the number of young, teenage girls that appeared to be unsupervised. I'm talking about what appeared to be about 75-100 girls. I was not expecting to see this many girls practically naked at the pool everyday. This might be a selling point for some but if you are traveling with your family, it's not exactly the kind of environment I wanted to be a part of. So, maybe we need to choose a different cruise line that caters more to families...I'll have to research that. We really liked the excursions. We went snorkeling during the Nassau port stop and the stop at Coco Cay was also very fun. If you like to snorkel, my husband and son found some great places. I am looking forward to the new, Coco Cay although this may alter the peaceful, laid back nature of this island. So, overall, I think this particular cruise definately catered to more of the party crowd. I think families and older folks felt a little out place by the number of teenagers/college type girls on board. I don't know if I would go on this cruise again due to this issue. I think I would look for a larger ship with better Adventure Ocean accomodations and a more family type atmosphere. Read Less

My husband and I really chose this cruise because due to work we had to choose our dates and THEN our cruise. Luckily it was between Norwegian and Royal Caribbean and we chose Royal due to better reviews. I am very glad we did, as we had a wonderful time. Entertainment was really good, food was delicious, and service was exceptional. I didn’t give 5 stars for a few reasons, none of which were trip ruiners. There was a large group of girls celebrating quincinerea, by large I mean 300. They were everywhere and monopolizing the pools. The adults only Solarium was not enforced to be adults only, and often late nights the ship went from 6 hot tubs to 3, despite demand for use. The stateroom was in need of some deep cleaning, and upgrading. It was clean enough but I am picky, and the phone was caked in years of something. Broken cabinets, and chipped counter tops. Showers are not made with tall women in mind. Shaving was like hot yoga! When booking online, the sunset cruise was advertised as being a catamaran, which upon receiving our tickets, it indicated that it may be a glass bottom boat OR a catamaran. Obviously it was a glass bottom boat... not super excited about that, but still the tour was great and the view was wonderful. Now, Chops Grille was fabulous! We used that reservation as our date night and it sure felt like it. Overall, despite hiccups, we had a great time! Read Less

Next time I know to stay on the boat instead of walking around the Nassau shops. I wish I knew that you had to choose an embarkation time and reserve it. We didnt get on the boat until 1:30! and they started at 10:30. I thought it was first-come first-serve. So hard to choose which activities you want to do, or just go sit by the pool or at the bar! I missed more fun for teens but in overall it was ok Ship and navigation was perfect even when we passed a huge storm but it is a little old and there are some details you can notice specially when I compare with Norwegian ( we did two times) but entertainment team was so funny and crazy and dinning service amazing that we are willing to experience again a Royal Caribbean. Internet services are quite expensive and variety of shop for first need stuff (shampoo for example) was not available so that was something that surprised me a bit. Again you can solve this at port but it would be good to have it on board. Also shore excursions were a little expensive for the destinations we touched. While we had a great time, we were disappointed in a lot of areas. Customer service desk was very rude when we had issues (i.e. charges on card, room cleaning) and the food was less than stellar. The food options were MINIMAL and weren't great and the food in the formal dining was not good. For the price you pay for a cruise, you'd expect more options and better quality food. Our room got cleaned once the whole trip. We were told by many people to try Royal Caribbean, but weren't that impressed with it overall. The overall staff was rude and not very helpful. When we were in our room, there were noises that kept up all day and most of the night and when we told customer service about it, as well as the room steward for our hall, they said it was normal and wouldn't' keep up. Yet, it was non-stop and would keep us up at night. Like I said, we had a great time, but weren't that impressed overall. Read Less

We have cruised 4 times in the past 6 years. This was our first Royal Caribbean cruise. We chose this cruise because it was inexpensive -- we weren't looking for anything fancy, just a fun getaway. We were not disappointed in our choice! The Enchantment is definitely showing its age, with some rust visible around the ship. However, that was overshadowed by the top notch entertainment and activities on board. The staff, from the cleaning crew to the activities crew, bartenders, food services, everyone, was friendly, polite and made sure that our trip was easy, carefree and fun! As an adult couple without children, we were happy to have the Solarium as our pool destination. It was quiet and not too crowded. The Centrum was a great feature - we loved being able to enjoy the evening entertainment in such a large, open venue. We enjoyed the headliner shows in the Orpheum every night. We are driving back from our cruise as I write this. We took this cruise as a family and we’re so excited for family time, fishing, and so much more for our one week together. Let me start by saying the positives. 1. The dinners were fantastic and the service from Ajay and Minaj who were our servers were far above anything I have received even at the most expensive restaurants traveling. I can Not rate them high enough for service, knowledge, and making us all feel great and being the highlight of our cruise. 2. The water was beautiful. 3. Our cleaning lady Mona was superb and I cant say Enough about her. 3. Room and balcony were nice 4. Check in and out were quick and smooth. The disappointments 1. It was extremely hot and it seemed warm everywhere except the dining area. 2. We were the second seating for dinner and the entertainment most nights started before we could get there. 3. The pools were very small And PACKED 4. Our deep sea fishing excursion time was moved the night before without notice. No call just a ticket and notice stuck in the door. 5. We are escorted to meet the fishing boat..... no boat was there.... escort calls and captain seems surprised and asks how many people and is 20 min late arriving. We waited in the blazing sun. 6. We entered the boat and he spoke to us for literally 60 seconds before starting the boat up. The deck hand would not say more than one word answers or talk to us at all really. We trolled for approx 2:45 min and 3 or 5 of us never touched a fishing rod. I have Fished a lot in my life and never been on a fishing excursion that was this BAD. We felt like we were taken advantage of by Royal Caribbean and the boat we were on. I dont Expect to catch fish every trip but this was just not ok. We were back on the boat and at the service desk before 4 o’clock when we should have still been on a boat fishing. The bait fish were out of a bag (purchased) which should have been a sign and royal did refund us a small portion of our money but this is and expensive excursion and so NOT worth it. We also felt like the service desk just wanted us to go away. It took 2 trips and the 5 of us on the boat calming expressing we were not going to drop it and staying we would be back to get any discount. I cant Say enough negative about this excursion and the way it was handled 7. No speakers in room so announcements are very hard to hear 8. The staff at CoCo Kay for the water playground area were NOT friendly at all. The lady that took our money would barely look up. 9. Arcade had 4 games! That’s not an arcade 10. I am To tired to keep going but we will be on Carnival next time. Read Less

Living in Orlando, FL This was not the first time or last I have booked with RC. I have been on a few trips and they have all been great. This was however my first time aboard the enchantment of the seas, the ship was very clean and organized, all of the staff was amazing. The rooms were great, the shower stall a little small (for a big guy like me, 358lbs) But I made it work just fine. The food was so much better than i expected and remembered from my other cruises, there was taste to it and didnt feel like it was just slapped on a plate. We ended up eating on the buffet of the Windjammer for 2 out of our 4 nights aboard, the selection was that good. Entertainment and Activities: On this part, I feel like some of the activities were a bit bunched up together and some activities were not on for long enough (like the karaoke, which caused me to miss it), but there was a lot to do and I was very satisfied. Service: Service on board was absolutely amazing, I had an issue with something I was promised when I booked the cruise, that never showed up and even though it took about 2hrs of my beach day in coco cay to resolve, it got handled. This had nothing to do with the staff or service of the actual ship themselves, but the booking side of RC. Ports: Coco Cay: We did something simple, we rented the blue loungers and just stayed by the water the whole time. Got a bit of a scare with 2 small sharks in the swimming section by the floating bar, but aside from that... it was amazing. Wish they had a better alert system on the shark situation because we would have never known if it wasn't for other people. Nassau: This time around I googled different day trips and came across the Melia Nassau all inclusive resort. After reading a lot of reviews, we decided to go for it. We paid $47 for a day pass which included their private beach, pool, towel and activities (snorkeling, paddle boarding, floaties, water mats and etc). Great experience and would definitely recommend it! Would I go again??? Absolutely lol, thats a dumb question. I am already looking forward to my next trip, possibly in sept. Read Less

I chose Royal Caribbean because they had a wonderful sale and I had heard great things about the cruise line’s atmosphere. I wanted a fun, memorable cruise for our family and not a giant party ship where I needed to shield my kids’ eyes, LOL. This was the perfect mix of entertainment, adventure, fun, and class! We would certainly cruise with these guys again and would love to experience new destinations and add more stamps to our passports alongside the RC family. The dinners in the evening were continuously amazing in every single way. My 13 year old is now completely spoiled by escargot, duck l’orange, prime rib, and several other entrees I can’t even pronounce but boy were they good! The Atlantis aquaventure RC booked excursion was stunningly beautiful. I’ve never seen such gorgeous crystal blue and aqua green water. The water was warm too! Coco Cay was lovely too and the RC staff actually convinced me to snorkel, helping me overcome my fear of sharks that has held me on the beach my whole life. Great job, captain and crew! P.S. It was an awesome bonus that the captain looks just like Daniel Craig of “007.” Not many cruise ships can boast of that. ;) Read Less

Customer Service was the best. Service desk staff was extremely helpful with all of our questions. Lines were never too long when getting off the ship bath the ports. Mark,. our room attendant was the best room attendant we’ve had out of the 4 cruises we’ve been on. His smile was always so genuine. He kept our room tidy ALL day no matter how many times we left our room. Maria, our main dining experience with her was exceptional She always made sure we had everything we needed. She also gave recommendations concerning the menu ( because we asked for her recommendations). We met her assistant only once. No review for him because once she introduced him to us the first night, I didn’t see him anymore. The ONLY this that was not satisfactory was the face we had so much noise above our head while we slept, or anytime throughout the day. I’m not sure if they were remodeling. The noise was too much. Especially at night while trying to sleep. So we stayed outside a lot! Read Less

This was the second cruise for my wife and I, first one with my 10 year old son. First time on Royal Caribbean. 3 night Bahamas cruise out of Port Canaveral. Embarkation was very easy. We arrived around 1:00 and were on board the ship quickly. (I think it helped that we were in a junior suite that had a shorter line- the other security line looked longer but seemed to be moving pretty well). The service throughout the ship was excellent, particularly in the main dining room. After I ordered my first drink I never ordered it again (including the following nights). It just kept magically reappearing every time it was about to go empty. The food in the main dining room was also very good (breakfast and dinner, didn't eat lunch there). For breakfast they had a buffet in the main dining room with some of the mediocre items from the Windjammer, but if you ordered off the menu the food was better. The Windjammer breakfast was pretty bad with the exception of the omelette station. Everything else we tried- waffles, french toast, etc.- just wasn't very good. Lunch at Windjammer was better. But I don't know why anyone would choose to eat dinner at Windjammer over the main dining room unless they had some sort of scheduling issue. Food in the main dining room was much better. Drink package was well worth it- in fact, probably necessary if you really plan on getting your drink on, because most of the bartenders were careful to only pour a "regular" amount of booze into a drink. The drink of the day on the first day (Starboard Madras) was excellent. I had several. If I didn't have the drink package I think my bar tab would have been at least $100 per day... Entertainment was mostly good with the exception of the production show ("Can't Stop the Rock"). The theme of the show was music from the movies, but the selections were often puzzling. It had its good moments (a fantastic rendition of "I Will Always Love You," a song I don't even really like), but more often than now my wife and I would exchange baffled looks. For a show about music in the movies they seemed to go out of their way to avoid music from actual musicals. Instead they use... the Matrix?? It was a shame, because the musicians, singers and dancers were quite good. The comedian and the juggler (yes, the juggler) were great. There were a lot of fun activities like trivia contests and bingo (it helped that I won $300 playing bingo!). Karaoke was also a good time. Every day there was some sort of dance party where they would get people line dancing to the same songs. It was a little creepy. I think they were trying to brainwash people. Anyway, there were a lot of fun activities throughout the ship. The parade of flags was definitely a highlight. If you're going on a RC cruise be sure to get to the venue early and grab a good seat for this. My wife didn't understand why I was so insistent on seeing this, but afterward she got it. It's entertaining and fun. Had a good time in the casino. Mostly played roulette & video poker. Came out a little behind, but still had a good time. The casino bar was nice and lively at night. Nassau was fine. We were going to do Aquaventure but were wary of crowds and potentially bad weather, so we did the Discover Nassau Land and Sea Tour. The "Sea" portion (involving a catamaran tour around the area) was enjoyable. The tour guide was funny and the "rum" punch was flowing (for some reason they were actually pouring Johnny Walker Black into the punch instead of rum). The "Land" portion was fine. Some interesting facts about the town and country, a few sights, and you end up at Atlantis so you can say you've been to Atlantis. Note: we booked this directly through the vendor (Seahorse Sailing) and it was WAY cheaper than the rate offered through the ship. Coco Cay was another highlight. The beach is amazing. We had a great time snorkeling (we brought our own equipment for that). We rented beach loungers for the day and didn't use them because they weren't in a convenient location and there was tons of seating everywhere. Lunch was pretty good (mostly BBQ stuff). The Coco Loco drink was pretty tasty. We bought tickets for my son to use the Aqua Park, but I'm not sure he really enjoyed it that much. Even as a 10 year old it was hard for him to get up on to some of the elements, and being in slightly deeper water I think it took a lot of effort to get from one thing to the next. The ticket allows you entry into the park for 50 minutes but at the 45 minute mark he decided he was done. We had a much better time snorkeling. Disembarkation was also easy. We had to catch an early flight so we didn't leave our luggage out, just used the self-disembarkation procedure. There was a pretty long line to get off but it moved pretty quickly. Going through customs seemed strangely easy. No forms to declare what we bought, etc. We just walked right off the boat... Overall it was a great experience that I'd be happy to repeat in the near future! Read Less

Loved our time on the ship as well as off shore especially our waiter Paul. All the staff was wonderful and friendly and very helpful. The food was great. CocoCay was absolutely stunning. I live in Vegas and was impressed with the entire cruise and staff!! The weather was great.. the price of diamonds were incredibly cheap in Nassau. The ship was smooth in its sail. There were so many activities to experience for all ages. I took my 12 year old who had the time of her life. I was worried I couldn't have adult fun but that was never a issue. By the way, getting the drink package is 100 percent worth every penny, I'm not sure why in the world anyone wouldn't get this!! I never thought I would enjoy a cruise and this definitely changed my mind. I will definitely do another again in the near future. Read Less
