Traveled with my husband and 9mth old baby. We booked through a travel agent Nikkia Fun Tours and chose Enchantment of the Seas as it was one on the smaller ships. Since it was my husband’s first cruise, a three night was a perfect starter length. We sailed on October 26th leaving from Port Canaveral to Freeport Bahamas, Cocoa Cay then back to Port Canaveral. Embarkation/Debarkation: This was a breeze. We had all our necessary documents, our bag tags and all other pertinent information were already mailed to us by our wonderful travel agent at Nikkia Fun Tours. We parked our car, tagged our checked luggage, headed up to the check in counters and were given our sea pass cards with no hassle. Same for when it was time to exit the ship, we headed to the deck per our group number and walked right off the ship, our bags were already waiting once we got off and customs was a breeze. Food: Once we got on the ship at around 11:45am we headed straight to the windjammer and found a table since our rooms would not have been ready until 1pm. Lunch was ready and it tasted great! Many wonderful options. A waiter came around and offered to bring us drinks and also to fill my son’s thermos with hot water that I needed to mix his formula later that day. We purchased the non-alcoholic drink package so indulged in a number of virgin cocktails, with the Pina Colada being my favorite and also our choice of sodas in our souvenir cups. Dinner in my fair lady was good, and since it was my birthday we also ate at Chops grill, it was a nice ambiance but outside of a special occasion I don’t think it’s really worth the extra cost. It was nice that the waiter surprised us with a bottle of wine compliments of my awesome travel agent who was very thoughtful and detailed indeed. I would recommend her to anyone who is looking for hassle free cruise travel booking. Cabin: We booked a balcony room, deck 7 near the back of the ship. It was in a great location near the elevators and in a really quiet part of the vessel. Our travel agent had ordered a pack and play for the room and it was already set up for us once we got to the room. The room was not very large but well organized and enough for the three of us. The balcony was a big plus, love being able to go outside enjoy the view of the ocean and get some fresh air. Ports of Call: Freeport: we booked our own excursion. I used excursioneer.com to book day passes to Grand Lucayan Lighthouse Point Resort. It was exceptional! I would say that if it’s not peak season don’t use a booking site, you can grab one of the cabs at the port at $10 round trip and it will take you to the Lucayan Marketplace, from there it’s a short walk to the resort and you can buy the day passes for $20 per adult at the front desk. We ended up paying $25pp since we used a booking site. The resort was not at all crowded and we had full use of all their amenities for the day. We had fun in both the pool and the beach. Coco Cay: We only spent about 30mis there since the captain canceled the day due to high ground swells which caused the rides on the tenders to be very choppy. This was disappointing but it seems like Coco Cay would be a nice place to spend a sunny day. We will be back to try this again! Babies and Tots Daycare Absolutely loved the daycare option on the Enchantment of the seas. It was clean, safe and the caretakers were phenomenal. Our baby spent a total of 9hrs at daycare so that mom and dad could have some found around the ship on days 2 and 3. We had no problems and they took great care of him, $8/hr well spent. Overall it was a great cruise and we will most certainly sail with Royal Caribbean again, maybe for a longer cruise next time. Our baby had a fantastic time and we had a relaxing 3days. Read Less

We wanted to try RC after a few Carnival cruises since everyone raved how RC was sooo much better. HA! The worst cruise ever so far. We went just to go to Coco Cay and like many other times from what I have heard, it was canceled. The only entertainment all day was bongo and karaoke. The shows almost non-existent were 30 minutes long. The check in process was nice. The extra money we paid for a jr suite was a complete waste for sure. The room was the same as a standard on Carnival! The only difference was a bathtub vs shower only. The staff not as friendly, they barely mumbled a greeting. I watched as bar staff looked at empty glasses and just walked by. The food in the MDR was great. But most of the staff just blank, robotic. We will stay with Carnival and many other people we met said the same and were not happy. Even the "older" people. Read Less

Pretty bad experience on this cruise.... Firstly the ship is pretty small, and a little dated. Ok where do i start, we were not treated well at all by our stateroom person, he was not ever polite, never greeted us period, and only said good morning to us last morning as we were leaving after i had conversation with him prior day about his lack of manners. The internet which is called "voom" is no such thing, we paid $15.99 a day for 4 days for what was sporadic internet with no ability to post any pictures or messages that took hours to upload, and my whatsapp which is only way to keep in touch with family would take an hour at a time to post message, when i complained their only solution was i should upgrade to $19.99 a day for better internet, huh? Its $4.00 a day on carnival and you cant provide quality for $15.99? I hate being nicke and dimed! So second morning we went for breakfast in dining room, we had shared table with 3 other couples, waiter recommended omelette with everything so we all agreed although some ordered preparedness different as well as varied sides, the waiter came back with 5 plates, not mine, and placed every plate with wrong person, then asked me what i ordered... Smh... Brought mine 5 minutes later, and after two bites i noticed long hair underneath my omelette and got nauseous immediately! I complained and got up right away to leave, manager was also upset and asked us to return that night for complimentary champagne, which we did but didnt return to eat there again, ate on deck 9 rest of cruise. Ok biggest disappointment was we booked cruise for rccl's private island cococay, that was the draw, we hurried off second day to get to island, we took the shuttle, and proceeded to beach, looking forward to long day of beach and bbq on beach, music, fun, etc, but after only 30 minutes we were forced out of water and told to leave island forced to leave like prisoners, that captain deemed water to rocky, i believe there were only 3 shuttles that made it on actually before having to leave, this same thing happened to us in january 2017 on majesty of the seas but we were not even allowed off on that trip, so we were pretty bummed, the captain thought it was good idea to head to nassau immediately, which was supposed to be 3rd day itinerary, we arrived at night in nassau, we did not get off as it was nighttime in nassau and its already pretty seedy during daytime, being hassled to braid hair or buy drugs. The entire trip was rocky, my wife got seasick on two of 4 days, i called rccl the day after i arrived back and complained, they said they would do investigation and get back to me in 3-5 days, its 8 days later and havent heard a word from them, prior to this cruise i had that royal would be my from now on preferred cruise line, we've done 12 cruises in last 3 years, on troyal, carnival, and norwegian, had great cruise oct 2017 on royal, but this one was horrible, not traveling on enchantment of the seas again, and think i'll give another spin on carnival next cruise! I chose the cruise because I needed the points to advance to diamond. Overall the crew was very friendly and most helpful, especially my room stewardess, Carole. I did notice that the furniture in my cabin and in the public spaces looked worn, tired. I really think a refurbishment is in order. Our stay at Coco Cay was cut short (correctly) due to heavy ground swells that would have made tendering dangerous. The Captain made the right choice. we went right to Nassau and had an overnight. I highly recommend the All Access Tour. Well worth the cost. Areas included the engine control room and the bridge. A bit of walking and some stairs to climb but overall worth it. Pictures were allowed but not video and security was with us for the engine/bridge areas. The biggest negative (and it is the same with all cruise ships) is the cost of WiFi. To me it is a rip off. I suggest you contact your carrier (ATT, Verizon, etc.) to see what packages they might have to offer. Read Less

We love to sail Royal Caribbean and this fit into our plans. We had just came off of a Carnival ship the day before we boarded Enchantment OTS. We could not help but to compare the two ships. We loved Enchantment. It is easy to get around the ship. Show ( we only saw one) was good. Food was excellent in Chops Grill. Food was ok to excellent in the dining room. We preferred breakfast in the Windjammer due to the many choices. Our cabin was 7127, an inside. Nice and cozy. Even though we were midship, we could not hear the music from the centrum in our room. We went to Coco Cay ( Private island of RC) and Nassau. Coco Cay was nice, albeit we were soaked in a rain storm. The snorkeling was good farther out by the life guards. Hubby saw and swam with a sea turtle. Lunch was tasty on the island. Tenders were fast and steady at getting us off and on the ship. Nassau ..we just walked around shopped. We were the only ship in port. We had never seen where there was only one ship in port. Debarkment ( self assist) was a little hairy as the ship could only open one gangway instead of the normal two. The tide in Port Canaveral was high and did not allow the second gangway to be open. We had to snake outside the theater to then come in the theater to walk deck 5 all the way to midship, go down a flight of stairs and then off the ship. It was hot, muggy and a organized mess. If you could not do a set of the stairs then there were 2 elevators to use. Read Less

I don't know if it's the same on all the smaller ships of Royal Caribbean, but the quality of everything is definitely not the same as on their larger ships. Food: the food was not that great at all, it seemed like everything that was served in the main dinning room (My Fair Lady) was overcooked and lacked in flavor (with the exception of the steak on the last night of the cruise). Even the food in the Chopped Grille was nothing to boast about. Entertainment: The entertainment in the Centorium was okay. The entertainment in the Orpheum was not so great with the exception of the of the entertainer that was there on Wednesday night. Excursions: the beach excursions were great, quite frankly they were the only saving grace of this whole trip! Airport Transfer: We had to buy our airport transfer the day we got to Orlando. Spent 15 minutes just trying to find the Royal Caribbean kiosk so we could purchase the tickets. Embarkation was smooth after that. Disembarkation was a disaster. When we bought our ticket for the return airport transport, we were told that we would be off the ship by 830 and at the airport by 10 am. Needless to say that didn't happen. We had a number 2 tag which meant our group would be called to disembark at 830 am, they didn't call our group until 9 a.m. By the time we got off of the ship and through customs it was 930. We ended up having to spend another $150 to change our flight because there was no way we would make it on time. So instead of getting back home early (3 pm) we spent most of the day at the airport and didn't get home until 9 pm. We definitely will not be sailing on this ship again. Read Less

Vacation post 3weeks in America finishing with back to back cruises. Maybe we should of realised that an itinerary which only went to Coco Cay and Nassau x2 in one week was not the best. The ship itself is very tired and well past it’s best with the gym equipment needing maintenance to the Spotlight lounge being closed ( short staffed?). A karaoke night in a bar which was the through way from the casino to centrum being packed nowhere to sit with people trying to walk through, when the very large Spotlight lounge was closed, supposingly for a private function ( every night?). Entertainment was mediocre with the singers and dancers looking like they were wearing hand -me -downs and the 70’s night YMCA !!!! It’s the first time I’ve had a cabin on any ship where there was not a fridge and an interior were you had to climb over the bed to get in! The boys & girls of the catering service in the Windjammer and MDR + the housekeeping were as marvellous as ever and made the vacation special but come on Royal Caribbean this ship is not up to standard, you cannot keep building the likes of Harmony etc and expect people to put up with this tub. I have been on one other ship; Freedom of the Seas 3 years ago and loved it. Me and my mother went on this ship last week. I was hoping she could enjoy the same things I had on my Royal Caribbean cruise. We did have a great time. But, there were some things in need of being repaired. We had at least 2-3 broken electric outlets in our room and the vanity in the bathroom was scratched up. The shower was very small with a curtain; not a hard door. There was a place on the outside rail on one of the upper decks that was taped off because it was broken. There were 4 coke machines. 3 of them were right next to each other. One of those never worked. The others were frequently out of ice. It would be nice if they were more spread out and easier to access from different areas. This is the first time I have never had the choice of lobster tail on the formal dining room menu. They put some "premium" options from Chops grill on the menu for an additional fee. Most of the entrees that I chose were good, but a few werent. I really dont want to spend more money when we have already paid for food beforehand. The crew was extremely nice and helpful. WE loved our waiters. Even though we were stuck with " My time dining"; we were able to have a standing scheduled table and time every night when we asked. We enjoyed the singing/dancing shows in the Orpheum and there was a comedian that was mediocre. We loved Cococay beautiful beach and nice buffet set-up! Nassau is alot of stores; diamond and gold shops mostly; if you have seen it once, there isnt much point in getting off unless your doing an excursion. Read Less

My wife and I chose this cruise for my 50th birthday. This was my ninth cruise and her 11th - all in six years. We've cruised Celebrity, Royal, Carnival and Norwegian and loved them all. The best vacation we have ever taken was on the Freedom of the Seas in 2013. Consequently, we had high expectations for this trip. Many of them were met but I'm starting to think the class of ship you sail does indeed make a big difference. Ultimately, we had a fantastic experience but Enchantment is showing her age and for whatever reason, there seemed to be a lot of smoking areas on board which was very different than on any of the other ships we've sailed. Cruising during hurricane season is definitely cheaper (worth it) but if you think the ship is going to be empty given the season and the fact that kids are back in school, think again. I learned this firsthand. We were in stateroom 8593. The best part of the room is it was very, very cool in temperature. A nice change from the Carnival ship we sailed in June (the Magic). However, unlike the serenity of the Magic, 8593 is above the 5th deck Centrum where they program music until midnight daily. Since our room was first on the hallway outside the center area, it was like being in the middle of a concert. It was bad. When we called guest services they didn't understand our concern so they came upstairs to see if they could hear it. There is NO WAY you could miss it. They offered us earplugs but honestly, we never used them. They should just figure out how to install a door of some type off the open area which will minimize the noise. We just figured out the rest of the week that we had to stay up late to avoid the issue nightly. Our stateroom attendant, Sylvio, was excellent. The room was always clean. The storage was good but the shower is unbelievably small. Not a problem, mind you, but just be aware. The wonderful thing about a smaller ship like the Enchantment is everything seems so accessible. Even though we used the stairs most of the time, we seldom had to wait for elevators and from deck eight, everything we needed was either four decks up or down. That was really nice. Dinner in the My Fair Lady dining room was good. We were seated at a table for eight and enjoyed our dinner companions very much. We really lucked out. Lady, our lead server, was outstanding. The food is plentiful, the service was unbelievably good but we've decided the food on Carnival is better. Entertainment was excellent. The shows are much better aboard RCI than they are on Norwegian or Carnival. This was the first cruise where we actually liked the comedian. I don't recall his name but even the adult show wasn't too much and it was indeed funny. The pools were crowded so we didn't bother but I did the climbing wall and the bounce/trampoline thing which were great fun. The Windjammer is to be avoided at all costs. The design makes zero sense for all those people and we never could figure it out. The food is tasty but it's so unpleasant that we ate our breakfasts in the main dining room each morning. Coco Cay was an absolutely perfect day. The beach, lunch and water were unreal. We had been before and I was looking forward to it again. It did not disappoint. I will remember that day for a very long time. When they open the "Perfect Day at Coco Cay" experience next year, I will be racing to go back. 'Crusin Susan' was our CD and she was hilarious. We liked her very much. The staff overall was very strong, the fitness facilities and spa were nice and the theater was actually bigger than we have seen which meant seating wasn't an issue. The Love and Marriage Show, the Quest and other staples of cruising were all there and we loved them all. Overall, we had a very good trip but I probably would not sail the Enchantment again. It's time for a dry dock and some rethinking of space usage on board. However, I'm addicted to cruising (it's absolutely the best value vacation out there) and while on board we booked for next year aboard the Adventure of the Seas to New England and Canada. RCI offers a great cruise experience - all the lines we have sailed do - so no brand loyalty here. Can't wait till next year! Read Less

My girlfriend and I decided to book a cruise after her sister and her boyfriend recommended it. I was skeptical about it thinking that I would get bored and it would be too crowded but decided to book a 4 night one to test it. Enchantment of the Seas totally changed my mind about cruising! There were 2,400 passengers but it did not feel crowded and we could always find a chair in the deck and space at the pools. FOOD: We loved breakfast at the Windjammer; they had good variety of options and the staff was extremely attentive. For dinner we were at the second seating at My Fair Lady and the food quality was well above my expectations; we did not feel the need to go to the Choppes Grill restaurant since My Fair Lady dinner was great. ENTERTAINMENT: Our cruise director was amazing! always funny and full of energy. We enjoyed all of the shows especially the Marriage and couples show (get there early since it fills up quickly). Other shows included comedy and Broadway style productions. PORTS OF CALL: COCO CAY was very relaxing and the food on the island was good. I really enjoyed the floating bar and snorkeling. NASSAU we explored downtown in the morning and walked to the Queens Stairs, the fort next to Queens stairs and the Pirate Museum ($14/person). In the afternoon we took bus #10 ($1.25/person) to Cable beach and spent the afternoon at the Melia resort ($45/person for the day pass) where we had access to the pools, chairs, towels and the beach. I would definitely cruise on the Enchantment of the Seas again although for our next cruise vacation we will try 7 nights since we were left wanting more! Read Less

Everyone from the pier/port personnel to the wait staff to the cabin steward to the entertainers seemed to really enjoy their job which in turn made us enjoy the cruise. The ship was a little smaller & not as fancy as some but it ended up being one of our favorite cruises. We loved the song the dining room staff performed & The Crew International Parade of Flags. All of the entertainers were very good. My daughter loved the Michael Jackson trivia contest. The food in the dining room & our waiter and assistant waiter were the best ever (thanks Meikinson & Iketut). Most of the crew seemed young and had a lot of energy. Embarkation was fast and easy and debarkation wasn't too bad. I've never felt more welcome than on this cruise. This was my 7th cruise-my first with Royal Caribbean but not my last! Read Less

1st cruise ever, we chose a short one. We will be back...longer! Room with balcony of sits and table. Excellent service room care. Dining service of care, especially Gluten Free issues for us, was passionate and delicious. So many eating areas available; main dinning room, Windjamer buffet just two of the many we loved. Outside and inside pools, decks and decks outside sitting. So many shows in theatre and bars/lounges. Casino and fun games in bars/lounges. Honestly if you couldn't find it...just ask. Need assistance, just ask...doctor and three nurses. Transfer to islands so easy. Options for the islands are there. Walk, ride via carriage, bus, taxi, tours...pick what you want. Food, beaches, souvenirs. How about ride to the ocean and ride submarine to see the fish, turtles and corals. Ask Bahama people where THEY go to eat out. Anyone can eat McDonald's...you should eat Conch food or local fish, the local way. You will be thrilled. Not an activity person? Enjoy relaxation and food, you will be thrilled. Read Less

This was 4 day cruise and we had planned it 6 months in advance hoping for good weather..Man...........what a great time.... The food was wonderful. The crew was ALL polite and accommodating. We met some more wonderful cruisers along the way...We watched the shows.....The tribute to Whitney Houston by Stephaney Paker was incredible.(.#divaoftheseas ) We drink Miami Vice's and Strawberry Dackeries and those were totally awesome. We had so much fun with watching the goings on in the center area, the music, the fun and dancing was fantastic. The Staff Flag showing was mind blowing. All these people from different countries and the work so very hard to give everyone all the want for a great time..It truly was a fantastic time. My wife and I were are semi-retired enjoy the boat so very much. I were will always go on RCCL because of the people and the treatment. The island Coco Kay was fantastic and I i got to be reunited with a friend whom I got to see again after 4 years...Rollin - You are a brother Man...See you again soon...I hope.. Getting On and Off the ship before and after the cruise was extremely quick and easy. The people were friendly and awesome. We have cruised many times with RCCL and are Platinum members and I can tell you.......It never gets Old. This is a wonderful place to take a vacation. Our Cabin Stewart, Leroy was amazing. He made out stay wonderful..The dInners were great...We did not get to go to chops but maybe next time.. We went over to Atlantis and played at the Casino walked the shops. What a relaxing time.. The day at sea was a great time to reflect on how nice the cruise was and just chill out on the boat. we hit the casino, broke even, we watched the days events and it was such a great time...We will be going back hoping in November... If you have never cruised before, i would highly reccommend starting out on a 3-4 day cruise.these boats are big enough to get you to understand how cruising works. The 7-10 cruises are a blast and something to go towards. But for a quick, need a complete break, elegant fun and easy time on a ship this is the way to go... All cruise have to deal with weather. it is the one factor no one can control but the rest of it.......turn off your phone, your ipad and tablet and just have some good ole fashion fun and Dance the nights away.......Thats what we did ....thats what we will do again...awesome cruise...10 OUT OF A 10..Thank You RCCL Read Less

Embarkation was a breeze. This was my friend's first cruise and they let us go through priority processing. She was definitely impressed with everything the ship had to offer and thrilled with the ocean view cabin. Unfortunately she lost a silver heart-shaped necklace that contains some of her husband's ashes and it did not get turned in at the service desk. Hopefully someone out there either found the necklace or knows who did. It would certainly be a blessing if it was returned. Other than that, it was a delightful cruise with plenty of things to see and do onboard. The food was wonderful in both the main dining room and the buffet. Enjoyed being able to get a quick snack to take to the cabin at the end of the day. Disembarkation was relatively painless and I did not feel like I was being pushed along by other passengers or staff to get off the ship quickly. Already looking forward to our next cruise. Read Less

She butted in the conversation with us and the representative we were speaking to and told us we were holding up everyone and not in a professional way at all and could not wait to kick us off the ship and because of this experience I will make sure not to come again and will expose on social media to all of my waiting family and friends to who could not wait to hear how our honey moon went and will make sure to let them know not to book with this company! My wife and I cruised for the first time on the Enchantment. Neither of us had ever been on a cruise and had no idea of what to expect other than reading some reviews here and there and friends stories that had been on cruises. Let me start by saying, we loved it. The overall experience is something that left us wanting to definitely cruise again as a vacation next year and more than likely beyond. Getting there: We're from Orlando, so the hour drive to Canaveral is convenient. We chose to park offsite for $35 for the week and they shuttled us over. Embarkation: Very smooth process and it was very easy passing thru security...we used our drivers licenses and birth certificates as neither of us has a passport at the check in desk. We arrived at the port at 11:15am and we're on the ship in less than 20 minutes. The lines thru security moved steadily and efficiently. From there it was up the escalator to the check in area where we presented our documents and got our seapass cards issued. We walked up the gangway and passed several photographers wanting to take our pictures (more on that later), politely declined since we we're just dressed in shorts and tee shirts. Up to the main deck we went to check things out and get a view out at the port and other ships that were docked. Our room was scheduled to be available after 1:00 pm so we headed to the Windjammer to have lunch. We both had a salad and the selection was great with toppings we prefer like mushrooms, chopped egg, ham etc. Cabin: Our cabin was located on deck 3. (3765) I picked this based on hearing that as a 1st timer, I should select something low and in the middle of the ship to minimize any feeling of sea sickness. Regardless of where we probably would've been placed, it was very calm seas throughout our cruise and we never felt the boat rocking. Our cabin was very clean, the bathroom looked like it had been recently upgraded as everything was tidy and looked new and not worn or dated. Shower was a bit small but it worked just fine for the both of us, but no way we could shower together, lol. Sink was bowl shaped and wasn't much larger than a dinner plate but served it's purpose for brushing our teeth and washing our hands. Our only complaint was the firmness of the bed. We both prefer a memory topper and medium firmness mattress at home and made due for the week, although we felt it was uncomfortable and felt a bit sore when getting up in the morning. Our room attendant, Agus was very friendly and made sure our room was kept tidied up and stocked with anything we needed. My wife loved the towel animals he created for her each night. (Bear, Dog, Frog and Elephant) Overall Ship: She's showing her signs of age, but nothing that took away from the overall experience. If you're a nit picker, you'll find signs of rust here and there and some railings and such that show signs of wear and aging. But nothing that made us feel like we were cruising on a relic and something likely to sink...that's a huge plus, lol. The main pools were busy day 1 & 2 (at sea), and we found solace in the Solarium. It was less crowded and plenty of lounge chairs were available for us to relax and jump in and out as we felt. Pools are strictly salt water in case you're wondering...it did however have a hint of a chlorine smell. Perhaps they add a little? Dining: The Windjammer...it's a buffet but the selections were very good as was the food. We ate breakfast and lunch there every day. My favorites were the freshly made omelets while I waited where I just told the cook what I wanted and he whipped it up. In fact, it was so good that I went back for a second one. I had them every morning during the cruise. My wife stuck to the scrambled eggs served and bagels, fruits, grits etc for her breakfasts. She had an omelet on day 3 however. Lunches usually consisted of salads for us, but I did have some of their fried chicken and "baked pasta", which was another of my favorites. It's their mac-n-cheese, but they don't call it that. It's not the run of the mill Kraft that you'd make for your kids or find at Golden Corral...it's a nice baked dish with a blend of cheddar and mozzarella. Overall, the Windjammer was better than I was expecting with a great variety of choices and deserts that never left us complaining or feeling there wasn't something we didn't like. Service was very good and although it can get a little busy, we never struggled to find a seat. People get in, eat and get out about their business. My Fair Lady is where we ate dinner each night. We didn't feel the need to go to Choppes Grille or anywhere else that was an upcharge. The food was delicious. Appetizers and desserts were top notch with choices like Shrimp Cocktail, French Onion soup each night and a mix of other things like Escargo (yuck) and other choices that changed. The first two is what I stuck with as they were available and I like them. My wife tried some others I can't recall at the moment. Deserts were Cheesecake, Creme Brulee' and a variety of cakes, Ice Cream, Sorbets etc. Again the first two were available every night and they mixed in the other choices throughout the week. Dinners ranged from NY Strip steak as well as Roasted Chicken with Thyme that we're available every night. Other choices throughout consisted of Beef Tenderloin, Braised Lamb, Lasagna Forne', Pasta Bolognese, Fish of the day (Tilapia, Cod etc.) Chicken Marsala and some other dinners I couldn't pronounce...so guess what, I avoided them, lol. My wife and I tried everything I mentioned above and they we're all yummy. Filet Mignon and Lobster are available from Choppes for an upgrade at you table. Waiters: Ludy (HW) and Sharon (Asst) were wonderful all week. They made sure we we're pampered and their service was exemplary...so much so that I decided to tip them well separately on our last night of dinner. They deserved it and we could tell they were passionate about their jobs and taking care of their guests. It was nice to feel special and be referenced personally by name every time we went to dinner. I wrote a great review on RCI's survey about them, that's how much we enjoyed having them as our waiter and assistant. Ports: Nassau...we got up early and decided to check out the port for a little while. Get ready for aggressive pushy locals trying to sell you everything from cab or horse and carriage rides, to tours and visits around the island. You can't walk ten feet before the next one offered their services to you. We just politely declined and kept walking, ignoring them as they continued their sales pitches. We get it, it's their livelihood. We just don't like high pressure fast talking sales. If they we're a little more laid back, tourists would probably be a little more open and responsive to inquiring about their services. We opted instead to go to Bay Steer one block over and visit the actual storefronts where my wife shopped for some more Alex and Ani bracelets (like she doesn't have enough), Pandora and tee shirts and a couple of souvenirs and gifts for her parents. It was very hot and humid so after a couple of hours of shopping we headed back to the ship around noon to enjoy lunch and a less crowded ship overall since many were off board. CocoCay: The dock is still under construction so we had to use the tenders. We waited about 20 minutes on the stairs of deck 2 to board onto the tenders. It was about a 8 minute ride over to the island. Beautiful and very relaxing for us. We chose the Snorkeling Excursion for $42/pp for the day at our leisure. We spent at least a good few of hours snorkeling and retuning to our chairs for relaxation in a nice shady spot under a couple of palm trees. We saw Stingrays, an Octopus, Mahi, Angel Fish, Blue Tangs (Dory from Finding Nemo) a huge 12" wide green and iridescent Star Fish and many other colorful species of tropical fish. The sunken airplane, Greek Pagoda and ships Stern with Cannons provided a nice environment to see the fish swim in and around. This was actually the highlight of my trip. Not being a strong swimmer, and never trying snorkeling I absolutely loved it after getting acclimated to breathing underwater. The calm sea and buoyancy of the saltwater made it easier for me to swim from area to area and floating rest platform to the next which are about 100 feet apart with one of the underwater feature between them. I never felt tired or out of gas as I was so enthralled at the marine life and views I was taking in for the first time. My wife is a water baby and was surprised at how well I did, and how far I was able to venture out with her and keep up without falling behind. Entertainment: We really enjoyed the onboard shows each night. Some of their singers have incredibly beautiful voices. The juggling act was cool and he was funny, throwing in quips throughout his act. Night 3 was a ventriloquist with his puppets and I became the affection of his female Cockatoo much to the humor of myself, my wife and the crowd. She was relentless in her come ons to me...even came down to our seats to give me a big kiss. I got an autographed picture from him thanking me for being a good sport, and a note from her on it to "Call Her", lol. Other shows were Can't Stop the Rock...a musical featuring various artists renditions of Prince, Whitney Houstons The Bodyguard (Amazing performer that sang it) and others. The last night was a new opening night for a mix of short performances of NY popular Broadway shows like Little Shop Of Horrors and others etc. Casino: If you're a non smoker, you'll probably hate the casino as even though there are machines labeled non-smoking, the entire casino carries the smell of cigarette smoke throughout. My wife and I are smokers so it didn't bother us, although I can imagine it would to someone who doesn't. we gambled lightly and ended up $68 up for the trip. Not terrible and it kept us at least entertained for a little while the 2 nights we chose to visit. Shops: There's a host of onboard shops with a big variety of items for sale from Hand Bags to watches to electronics. Everything seemed marked up substantially, only to have them label stuff as take 50-70% off just to get it back within reason. No bargains really and we didn't board a ship to go shopping anyway. we can do that at home. Pictures: High pressure is what it seems like initially....however, once I realized at the end it's just a marketing tool, we probably should've ended up letting them take more throughout the 5 days. You're not forced to buy them or pay as you go, so let them take them all they want. I stopped by the photo section on the last night and found that they print them all regardless, arrange them by day and location taken (Boarding, Dinner, Nassau, CocoCay etc) and you can simply pick the ones you want to purchase $20 ea. . $79 for 6, or $179 for all. We ended up buying 2 of our favorites but we probably could've had a nicer variety and have gotten one of the packages if we realized their pricing structure beforehand. Disembaking: Too easy....we chose the self check out. Went up one level to deck 4 at 8:00 am with our own suitcases and waited aprox 15 minutes to get released onto the gang way. Then it was down the long corridor of ramps to Customs. We were one of the first couples to arrive and the agent simply checked our Florida drivers licenses and said welcome back and have a nice day. No baggage search, no full cavity search...nothing. We were out and at the shuttle bus pick up in 10 minutes at most. In closing, We were noobies at cruising, but Royal Caribbean left us fully satisfied and are already looking forward to cruising again. We want to try one of the Oasis class ships next to get a variety and try something newer. Can't wait to cruise again :-) Read Less

I chose this cruise because of the pricing, it was my first cruise and I was pretty nervous! Royal Caribbean exceeded my expectations. Boarding was a breeze! Their staff is so friendly and make sure they guide you with everything !! If you plan on getting the beverage package..I cannot stress enough to buy it ahead of time online. The price goes up $100 on the cruise. Online: $200 on the ship:$300 !!! The food was amazing, the activities on the ship were also so fun. For dining you can go to a nice dinner or there’s a casual dining room, you’re not required to go to the formal room. Housekeeping was so so nice they make your room up throughout the day. Our cruise director was phenomenal. So funny and personal! Cons: requires muster drill at the beginning where your crammed shoulder to shoulder Pricing of the drink package; $300 Almost missed our excursion because they did not announce for us to go to deck 1, even though they said wait for the announcement :/ Read Less

The cruise was decent. The start of our cruise was a bit rocky, the muster drill took incredibly long to begin and seemed quite disorganized, also there seemed to be an issue with their intercom system as not all announcements could be heard around the ship (we didn't even hear that the rooms were ready while we were at the Windjammer). The waiting staff in the My Fair Lady dining room were nice but the food service took incredibly long (at least an hour to get our entrees after ordering), so dinner every night took at least 2 hours .The food was subpar, but I guess that's to be expected with such mass production. I loved the ranger cookies, they were delicious, however the Windjammer kept running out of them. There's a lot of entertainment on the ship however, we didn't get to take in any shows. My 6 year old absolutely loved the Adventure Ocean, kid's club; the workers were wonderful with the kids and kept them entertained. My 6yo didn't want the cruise to end, she had a blast. PS-Please avoid the "cheese" sauce for the nachos, it was the most repulsive thing. The "cheese" tasted sweet with a strong nutmeg aftertaste... YUCK! Read Less

We chose Royal Caribbean because of word of mouth terrific reviews. The private island Coco Cay was disappointing. Getting on and off the ship was a nightmare. It was like a cattle call. Food was all right, and the wait staff were great. Our Jr Suite was very nice, lots of storage and our steward was awesome. He was very accommodating and went above and beyond. Ship is showing her age, in bad need of repair, our balcony railing was so loose i thought it may just fall off. Pool was out of service 2 days out of 4, so everyone was crammed into 1 small pool. Excursions are expensive, but Blue Lagoon was well worth it. Perfect place for small children and adults. We did the Dolphin Experience and it was the highlight of our trip. Overall, it was a good trip, but RC needs to come up with alternative ways to get that many people on and off a ship in a orderly fashion. Terminal staff could have handled things better. Read Less

Total experience was great. All staff was amazing. Trained to the highest level and it must be a great place to work because all staff seemed to care about their service. Plenty of activity and shows and entertainment. Food and wait staff was great in main dining room. Staff would remember you on a first name basis by the second day. Entertainment that was scheduled was great such as comics and musicians. Singer and dancers were great and entertaining. Drink we’re unlimited and available everywhere on the ship.inwent with 13 of my family members and everyone in our group enjoyed themselves. Destinations were great . The boat was well maintained and in great shape. We look forward to booking our next cruise on the new symphony of the seas. Would definitely go with Royal Caribbean again and would only use them no hesitations . Would not waist anytime looking at other cruise lines. Read Less

We are Emerald level cruisers and have also traveled with Disney and Carnival. Our last 2 cruises were on the mega ships Oasis and Allure. I felt the large ships lost that sense of "cruise community" I had come to expect and enjoy. Enchantment didn't disappoint. I must admit the choice of venues were lean compared to the larger ships but Bobby the cruise director and his staff did a great job keeping people involved with all the normal cruise ship games. The ship band and dancers were well above average and I must admit I have paid plenty more to see much less. However, regarding the level of service I was truly surprised at the marked difference. What started out as pleasant and professional quickly turned into warm and personal! The staff and crew went out of their way to roll out their best and make us feel welcome and appreciated. Cocoa Cay had a lot of construction happening but the areas available were well groomed and maintained. We sprung for a beach cabana and felt like "royalty" for the day. Our assigned staff members include Simeon for our cabin; Petar, Aries and Kimberly for dinner. Having always found it challenging to remember names these are some I doubt I will soon forget. Well done! Read Less

The ship itself is very clean and easy to navigate through. The cabin was comfortable with plenty of mirrors to make sure you look amazing everyday. The dining was delicious and although you can have a burger, hot dog and fries everyday there are plenty of other selections to choose from which is what I loved. I actually never felt hungry because food was conveniently available all the time. I loved the karaoke (I didn't sing but I watched everyone else rock the mic), rock climbing (I was scared but the attendant gave me confidence which helped), table tennis (I sucked but it was still fun), the pool, the casino, and the evening performances. I also loved participating in a hip hop dance class, it was unexpectedly fun and pretty cool. The service was outstanding. I dare anyone to find a rude employee of the ship because you won't. You will enjoy the experience, I promise. Read Less

This was the most amazing cruise that I have ever been on with going on Royal Caribbean. We enjoyed every stop onboarding experience was amazing food was excellent and the cleanliness of the boat was in Tip-Top shape. It is definitely family-friendly and also offers things for adults married or single to do as well. If you are looking for a quick getaway it suits you for 3 days and offers amazing service from start to finish. Also the port sandwich we stopped in the Bahamas and also cococay where excellent the excursions are great it was easy to follow you couldn't get lost and also there was tons of food, shopping, and beaches to go to and just relax. It was nice to go on the boat after and watch movies on the top deck floor and participate and the different events they had, such as contest, dancing Under the Stars, and rock climbing. Read Less

Our waiters were great and the food was really good. We enjoyed talking with our crew that we interacted with daily. Iurri and his asst waitstaff are top notch and warren was a lot of fun to joke around with and talk with. Regarding Nassau, on the other hand, not impressed. Most of the locals are not very friendly. I did not like the constant requests for taxis etc. we went back to to shore after dark but didn’t stay long as most shops were closed and it just didn’t seem like a safe place to be for a family, after dark. The trip to Coco Cay was nice but the locals there are not friendly at all. The excursion guide was very nice, though. This was our first cruise and though the staff was really nice, in not sure I’d go again. Read Less

My husband and I cruise frequently on Royal Caribbean. The service, staff, and cleanliness of the ship have always been excellent. We were especially pleased with our meal at Chops Grille. The food was as good as any high end steakhouse and the service was professional. There were a few hiccups. There are a few beverage machines machines, but they were often out of ice. Minor but annoying inconvenience. The Voom streaming Wifi package that we purchased didn't work. The Voom help desk attendant was neither friendly nor helpful. Our issue was not resolved, but a call to guest services provided a credit. I highly recommend the cabana experience on Coco Cay if you want to get away from the masses of fellow travelers. Perfect for relaxation. The lines at guest services were very long on the last night, but the staff worked as quickly as possible. Otherwise, it was a nice trip. It's not fancy, but it was very relaxing and enjoyable. Read Less
