We booked with a travel agent, supposed to have dinners paid for. This was our first cruise, nobody explains anything. Didn't know were we supposed to eat. Sunday night we had the Mystery dinner theater. It was at Giovanni. It was good. Food was good , we had wine. Everything was good so we decided to eat at Giovanni monday night. Had glasses of wine. When we signed the ticket, no charges for the dinner or the wine. Tuesday was our 37th anniversary. So Monday night we tried to look were we supposed to eat. Guest services said you dont have reservations. So they booked us at Giovanni, my app on my phone showed no reservations so we said ok. So Tuesday night we ate at Giovanni and had wine they did not tell us it was a charge for the wine. So when we got back to the room, my phone beeps and I look at it, showed that we were supposed to be at Rembrandt. Looked on the tv for our account, they charged me $158 for dinner an $75 for the wine! If we knew there was a charge for the wine we wouldn't have ordered it. So Wednesday morning we went to guest services , (be prepared if you talk to guest services, you never talk to the same person twice,) they said that they would take off the $158 for dinner but said they would not take off the wine. Well we went to Rembrandt and the head waiter. Alvaro said he would take care of it. It finally was taken off Saturday night. Another problem, my husband played on the poker tournament on Wednesday, he won the first round. The final round for championship was Saturday night. They were playing for a cruise. He won Saturday night. They gave him the paperwork and said when we got back home to call and make reservations. So Monday he called they said ok. Our paper shows leaving on Harmony of the seas on December 1, the lady came on and said no a different ship on December 2 for slot tournament. My husband doesn't play slots! The confirmation number they put on his paper was the wrong one. They have no idea what they were doing. Now when the lady we talked to says that we can book the room but they can't guarantee that we won't have to pay for the cruise ourselves. That is not right. It is like false information. My husband was so ecstatic about winning the cruise. We chose a cruise to celebrate our anniversary and to just get away from all the stress for a week, instead of getting away it was more stressful. NOT A VERY GOOD 37TH ANNIVERSARY. We did have a great room attended, joe, he was awesome. Always cheerful and greeted us by name. We meet Alvaro, head wait staff at Rembrandt. He helped get the bill straighted out and made the rest of the cruise enjoyable. Our waiters Bin and Zinzin were great. My advice for first time cruisers. Do your research. Check your bill every day. If you've ever taken a cruise you know that once you've done so your pretty much hooked, if you've had a good experience, which was the case with me. After my first cruise I was so excited to talk my mother and 3 sisters into taking a cruise with me, I looked and looked and finally settled on Royal Caribbean, they seemed to have a lot to offer the younger crowd and my 2 teen nephews were coming with. I booked With one of their agents, we booked a 2 bedroom grand suite (don't let the name fool you). After booking I made multiple attempts to get more information about our perks from the agent, all calls and emails went unanswered, she had the sale and was done with me. So so so, customer service (again don't let the name fool you) answered some questions and some wrong information, was told by several people that one of our perks was free internet for all of my guests, that's only on the Oasis Class. Okay so embarkation day, cluster of epic proportions. Priority Boarding you say, NOT, wheel chair assistance?? Umm Nope, dump your luggage on the curb, search for a porter and beg to have them take your luggage, herd into the building and go sit in the corner and wait for them to get a chair and assistant to finally take you up. And literally that is where you are left right at the ship's deck. Okay, to the Suite, stained sofa, substandard beds and minimal pillows, I've had better beds at a motel 6, not even an exaggeration. Deciding to try to relax and not allow this cruise line to further ruin a vacation that I planned for months with my mother and sisters to reconnect and have some great memories with our aging mother we set out to explore the ship, this is how we discover our luggage sitting down the hall outside someone else's door, now we're lugging all of our luggage down the hall ourselves. Again im trying not to lose it so I don't upset mom or let my sisters know that i'm incredibly disappointed. So we go to the buffet, holy garbage batman! Poorly seasoned, cold, tasteless food, a complete disorganized disaster, because of this we choose to just have room service not even attempt the main dining room. The Suite Lounge furniture was nearly threadbare in some spots. The crew for the most actually seemed to care about our experience, the cruise line not so much. Bottom line is I spent over $10K to get substandard service and a stained dirty run down suite, the cruise with my family was supposed to be my treat for them and me and it was ruined. I know it's about the time together, however when you count on getting the things you paid for so that it would be an amazing experience it's very difficult not to be upset, I literally cried. I'll never go back with Royal Caribbean, in a lesser accommodation booking with Celebrity we recieved so much more. If you're looking for a vacation cruise that won't disappoint look elsewhere please. Happy cruising Read Less

This was my second cruise overall but my husband has cruised his entire life. This was our honeymoon cruise. We both hated this cruise! The food was horrible no matter where you ate (dining room, cafe, pizza). Coffee was horrible!!!! The ice cream machine was broken or being cleaned every five minutes it seemed like so we only got it one evening. My strapless bra was taken from our room on Monday night and was never found again. They credited our account on the boat but not enough for me to replace it once we got home. The app never worked for us since we did not buy the wifi package (we never have) because typically the app will still work if you just connect to the open wifi thats available for the app users. Since it never worked, it never reloaded all the activities for each day since so many new ones were added once we left Galveston. The only way we found the times and places of things happening around the ship was if we were in our room watching the schedule on the TV. Which is extremely annoying as we wanted to be out roaming the boat. We tried asking customer service about the app but they were no help. We tried talking to the wifi people as they had a designated area on deck 8, right down the hall from our room. There was never a single person there the entire trip! We checked multiple times throughout the week. The entertainment was pretty poor. The comedians weren't great, expect for one who was a magician too, he was pretty good. We were very disappointed with the entire trip. Our excursions were wonderful but we booked those outside of Royal Caribbean. Read Less

They allowed smoking all over your ship, even in areas clearly marked as non-smoking. They definitely do not care about passenger safety. We purchased a balcony suite, and we could not even use the balcony due to all of the smoking on the nearby balconies. Security was called repeatedly, they would arrive 10-20 minutes later, well after the smoking was finished, not smell it, and refuse to go check adjacent rooms (even to simply ask other passengers). They refused to notify passengers over the PA system, they refused to send some paraphernalia to rooms about no smoking areas, and nothing at all was done about it. Almost nothing was ever open. Even though some shops, restaurants, and bars shad stated hours (or hours were stated on your TV shows by the cruise director), the venues obviously picked and chose when they wanted to be open. Nothing would open till late in the morning, and everything closed early in the evening. We did not go on a cruise, and purchase the unlimited drink package, just so that we had to sit in our room (not on our balcony) and do nothing. Numerous times we would eat breakfast, then go for a walk to try and find something to drink (anything, not just alcohol) and nothing would be open. The cruise director stated that the coffee shop was open 24/7. But, we were made to stand in line till 06:30 one day, because the guy would not serve anything till then. After numerous complaints, with nothing being done, we decided to ask for some form of refund. Since we paid for a balcony that we could not use. The customer service person went to the back, and stated that they were very sorry, and we would receive a ten percent refund on the cruise and a bottle of champagne (which was a nice gesture, but we had the unlimited drink package - so it cost them nothing). Later that night, we received a letter saying that we were being offered ten percent off our next cruise. That is unacceptable as we are never planning on taking a cruise again, especially not on Royal Caribbean. Our Playa Mia excursion in Cozumel was great. We are very happy that we did not book snorkeling with RCI. Luckily we did not book anything in the Grand Cayman. Though the Tortuga store personnel left a lot to be desired, so we did not buy anything there. Our RCI excursion in Jamaica was a tour and rum tasting excursion. We were led to believe that we would be touring around tasting rum at various places. But, in reality, we were driven to an overlook owned by the excursion company (where were were expected to buy drinks and souvenirs); then we were driven to a single store that was owned by the excursion company, for more souvenir shopping; then we were driven to their compound (Reggae Hill), and expected to buy lunch and even more souvenirs. Finally, after we were adamant that we did not want food, we were walked a long way across the compound (definitely not on ADA paths, which should be noted on the description), and given a five minute rum tasting. We were only given six rums that are owned by the excursion company as well. Horrible excursion. About halfway through the cruise, the ship began to reek of sewage, and cigarette smoke. It was very disgusting. We were also assured that tax was only on any alcohol over one gallon. Yet, we were harassed by security guards pretending to be federal tax agents and made to pay tax on everything, or suffer violence. In addition all of the security guards were very rude. And, don't forget the taking of my pocket/wallet multi tool, from my wallet (because it's not allowed - though that is not noted anywhere on your site), yet leaving me with multiple pocket knives (on me and in my luggage), and two more pocket/wallet multi-tools in my checked and carry on luggage. Complete stupidity. The food was bland in all of the dining rooms. The bars were barely ever open. The movies always played late at night (when the bars were closed) or during dinner). The staff watched people smoking in non-smoking areas, and did nothing. This was literally the worst vacation I've ever taken. Read Less

Me and my mom were very excited to go on another Royal Carribean cruise, unfortunately we were very dissapointed this trip. Not only was the service terrible, we got billed for towels we did not check out (after the staff apologized for their error) we were late getting off the ship. Everyone was unsympathetic to this error made by staff which resulted in us missing our transfer and paying 225 CDN for a cab in which we nearly missed our flight. We called the crown and anchor society and the Royal Carribean help line to be rudely turned away. In addition the food was the same EVERY DAY, the servers were so tired the tables were always dirty and they were consistently understaffed. I suppose this should be expected when you underpay all your hardworking staff. In addition, the fitness center closed at 10 PM and a rude employee kicked us out at 9:45 without reason, a child had taken a crap in the bathroom and steam room which was still there an hour later when I walked through after my workout. I will never cruise with this line EVER AGAIN! Read Less

We have been on 40 cruises, many with RC and the Liberty of the Seas was by far the worst ship ever. Says it was refurbished in 2016 but you would never know it. Carpets were dirty, chairs all over, especially in the main dining room were stained, ripped and dirty, we did not even want to sit on them. The bed was so hard, 4 days after getting off the ship we still have back aches. RC has eliminated all little things, no midnight buffets, no entertainment in the main promenade or different levels, no specialty cooks at the main buffet, Food was overall terrible. We were forced to eat in the specialty restaurants at a cost of $175. to us. We are seniors and did not expect to pay this additional money. We have another cruise booked for Nov 2019, tried to cancel but RC wants $100. pp to cancel ONE YEAR IN ADVANCE, We spoke with several supervisors but they would not budge on this. Guess we will be forced to go on this next cruise that cost us plenty. Read Less

From the start they pushed us all in one spot and were where a safety speech was needed, it got a much more threatening tone then needed. It went down hill from there. Most the extras, rock wall that sort of thing were all closed, in fairness the pool was open for about 2 hours a day. The service was so rude the first night we had to get a different waiter. We just tried to make the best of it, we were trapped all we could really do is drink, but since half are party didn't drink that was not an option. The only plus sides were the last two ports we went to, the ice cream machine, and the people inside the cupcake shop as they were they only ones there that were friendly. The last night they had a comedian on stage and he was asking a series of questions to the crowd to get them going and the last one was something about "and are we all coming back next year" and loud "NOOO" could be heard around. I chose this cruise for 2 reasons: 1) Stop in Grand Cayman and 2) Waterpark onboard. We skipped Grand Cayman because the ship turned around for a medical emergency 4 hours out of Cozumel. The Waterpark was a big ZERO. The pools are the size of backyard pools. The slides are nothing - the kids got stuck in them and had to push themselves out from 1/2 way down. I had 2 14-year old girls with me and they were bored to tears. The leader of the teen club announced the first evening that it was "like school", which ended it for these girls. I observed boys leaving and returning because the leader sent them out to run laps. Total lack of supervision. I expected the teens to be supervised, but that was not the case for those boys, at least. My girls never went back. If you like to drink and gamble, this is the cruise for you. If you have children who aren't interested in drinking and gambling, save money and go to a destination where they can be active and have fun. As I understand from another passenger, this ship frequently bypasses Grand Cayman in favor of Jamaica, as RC owns the port in Jamaica. I would have been pleased to have gone to Grand Cayman instead of Jamaica, if a port had to be skipped. It was never made clear why a medical helicopter wasn't summoned instead of taking 4 hours to get back to Cozumel for medical assistance. We were simply told to "move on" and see Grand Cayman next time. I realize the staff sees Grand Cayman frequently, but for the rest of us, that isn't possible. From the beginning, this was a bad cruise. Embarkation was total chaos, the ship is old so the cabins are not particularly nice. There were three of us (all paying full adult fare) and the sleeping accommodations were 2 twin beds and one shelf above the heads of those beds. The food was OK, but nothing special. The entertainment was very good for older people, but nothing of interest to 14 year old girls. The one activity we caught was the "sexiest man alive" competition mid-day at the family pool. The men were encouraged to maneuver their bodies suggestively over women passengers (strangers) and the women were encouraged to slap them on the fanny. Very inappropriate for an area with children. The girls were disgusted. We left. The ports were Cozumel and Jamaica, neither of which I have any desire to see, so we were just trapped on a big floating box until we finally got back to Galveston. The highlight of the trip was leaving the ship. But that went poorly, too. The scanner broke, so we were delayed getting off. The one bright spot in the cruise was the staff. The cabin stewards and the dining staff were exceptional. I've traveled the world, been on large ships and small ships and I have to say, these were top-notch staff. RC should be very proud to have such fine people working for them. They went out of their way to provide exceptional service. In total, after the cruise was completed, I spent over $6,000 on this cruise. I could have flown all of us to Grand Cayman, booked several excursions, and stayed in comfortable sleeping quarters for that or less. That's what I will do for all future travel. I will not get on a cruise ship again, with the possible exception of a European river cruise. Read Less

This was a return to cruising for us and our first for our daughter. It was terrible. Started with RCCL transfer from Houston (IAH) to Galveston being late due to not one, but two broke buses. When it did arrive (3 hours late) we hit traffic and were the last to get on the boat. We were rushed through being told over and over we were holding up the ship. No pictures, no welcome, no porters, just push push push with no courtesy at all. It was horrible. Once on board, sweating from lugging our luggage ourselves in sweltering heat of Galveston, they were already doing the drill so there was no where to go with the bags and thus a bottleneck on the decks ensued. After the drill the usual push and shove match ensued to get to the elevators (again, with no help offered from the crew) as we tried to navigate to the room with our bags (still with no offer of help). Food was mediocre at best, selection was poor and not varying, service was OK, too many add on costs for things that used to be free (room service is now $8 per delivery - but the food itself if free - really??). Internet is add on, pictures are now all digital and outrageously expensive, the no reserving seats on the deck or at shows is not enforced. Primary focus is on you washing you hands when it comes to meal service...more attention to this than to the quality of food. No enforcement of dress codes or behavior. There was an emergency on board forcing us to miss Grand Cayman (which I understand and am sympathetic to). This was, in my view, seen as an opportunity for RCCL to make more money from the captive audience. They heavily advertised pay to dine options, pay to play options, spa experiences and other at cost items that you could do with the extra day at sea. We planned this cruise around that port of call....no compensation (other than returned port fees) was offered. No free pics, no free drink, no free anything. It is all about making money for RCCL and it was blatantly obvious. Even something as critical as drinking water is hard to come by without paying. We knew this and brought water bottles to refill, but there are no filling stations like the airports so filling in your stateroom bath sink is challenging to say the least, but still better than the $5 a bottle they charge to what should be free. Dehydration is a very real issue in these areas but RCCL is more interested in making money and keeping dirty hands from touching the food. Priorities were apparent. All in all, this is now a glorified Hotel on water....low quality for the price. Read Less

We chose this cruise as we wanted to sample Royal Caribbean after cruising both NCL and Carnival. We found the cruise lacking in many ways. The food overall was disappointing. The few bright spots were the speciality restaurants Chops, and Savor. Giovannis was disappointing as well. We did report our poor experience in the main dining room and it was immediately remedied from a service perspective, unfortunately the food is just not at the level I expect from a major cruise line. Both Carnival and NCL were far superior in this regard. We had very disappointing experiences on our RCI excursions in Cozumel and Grand Cayman. We had chosen the Tulum Ruins and Beach Break and the stingray city and snorkel excursions respectively. After much complaining and back and forth RCI did finally stand behind their excursions and refunded the costs of both excursions after initially offering a 25% discount. Our Jamaican excursion was the green grotto caves and dunns river falls. This excursion fully met out expectations of an excursion offered by RCI. The ship itself is showing signs of wear and tear and could use some updating. Read Less

Our on board credits failed to be applied the 2nd day of our cruise when they were reported to us that they would be applied 40. I’m very displeased with the service and staff of this cruise. I was very excited and had heard great things about Royal Caribbean’s cruise line but was not impressed with this expierence. Read Less

Royal Caribbean really dropped the ball on this cruise. From the embarkation to the disembarkation the cruise was nothing short of a disaster. Lines were long, staff was rude, and the food was mediocre at most restaurants. The only word that the cruise line seems to know is NO. We asked for another wash cloth as only two were provided for three people and we were told NO. We asked for another deck chair and we were told NO. We asked if there was anything that could be done about the loud children running up and down the hallways and we were told it was their spring break and there was nothing they could do. Well. it was my spring break too and I paid for my cruise why should I have to deal with the noise and rudeness of the teens? In all fairness this was not RC's fault but staff should have been available to quiet the teens. There were plenty of activities for children and teens on the ship - not so much for everyone else if you don't drink. I guess this is how a great deal of the ship dealt with the noise and unruly children on board. I would recommend that RC schedule activities for their paying cruisers (painting classes and the like) or risk loosing future revenue. I have cruised many lines and have NEVER had such a disappointing cruise. I am now actually rethinking if I ever want to cruise again (I DO LOVE CRUISING) because of this terrible experience. The cherry on the cake was disembarkation - some rude cruisers and the poorly planned and managed exodus caused many to nearly come to blows. Many staff members commented that they were going to receive three hours of yelling and anger from passengers because the whole process was so flawed. The process was terrible. RC needs to take a page from other cruise lines and improve customer service or get out of the cruise business and allow other lines to pick up the customers. I boarded the ship expecting a fun adventure and was miserably disappointed. There were highlights on the cruise they were: Eliot and the young lady from Brazil who hosted trivia. The Chef's Table was expensive but WELL worth the price. The food and wine parings and service was sublime! Best tomato soup on Earth was served on this dinner. This was dining done right! All in all i recommend that you find another line or certainly another ship to spend your money on! Read Less

Royal Caribbean doesn't keep it's promises. I'm Pinacle and should get on and off ships first.,but it took 2 hours to disembark while watching all self carry got off first..most of whom were not self carry and needed porters. I also think that Royal Caribbean has lost site of who has spent the most money with them..it is those that rent Owners Suites and go to the better restaurants on board.. because the food selection in the dining room needs improvement in menu selections. Their lunch and dinner menus are stagnated..remain the same. Unless Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines improve in many areas ..I feel they will lose customers. They need to recognize the needs of their higher paying members. They also need to honor their word on their amenities promised to those who joined their Crown and Anchor society in hopes of getting the best service and amenities which they have not done. This all occurred on the Liberty of the Seas. Read Less

Debarkation fairly smooth; however, no one to direct you to your connecting bus. Ship not designed for number of passengers. Pools too small, Promenade not made for the thousands of people on the ship. Library was in the hall, no quiet place to read. Game room too small and noisy. Need a much larger space or a second room. Elevators too slow - especially since ship had many, many travelers in scooters, walkers, and other devices. Entertainment very poor. Too many people saving rows of seats for children. Some shows not appropriate for children, yet seats were saved for the kids. Encore ice group was excellent. Too little time in Ports. Too much time spent tendering - by the time you got off the ship, little time left in Port to explore. Too much time at sea with nothing to do. Loud, boisterous activities at pool which were not for mature adults. Read Less

My brother talked me into the first cruise with Royal Caribbean. I loved it. I cruised every year for three years, skipped a year and took another. Four cruises all with RC. Every one a winner. It has been three years since and I booked the fifth cruise with them. I was so disappointed. The food went from class A to a C. Breakfast was usually luke warm at best. Lunch was bland. Dinner was outstanding and now it is pretty good at best. Worst yet was the ambiance of the dinning. It was a treat to dress nicely for dinner with chandeliers and world class service. The first night might be casual since luggage was not delivered until late in the day. No problem. Then it was Smart Casual or Formal the other six nights. Cool. This time it was two formal nights, one smart casual and four casual. Their dress code is no longer in force and I felt totally out of place in my suite and tie with all those around me in polo shirts and jeans. Casual nights they allowed shorts, t shirts and baseball caps. It was a MacDonald's experience with the children at the next table in their t shirts, baseball caps and shorts eating hamburgers with ketsup dripping to their plates. I was so sad that Royal Caribbean had lowered their standards that far in three years. I guess that filling the ship takes priority over quality. Last but not least is the non stop sales pitch for everything. Advertisements dropped in your room every day. Pitches for the specialty restaurants. Pitches for the trinkets. I challenge people to compare prices to those found at home. I can purchase my favorite cologne cheaper in my local grocery store than what was offered on this ship. I am over and done with Royal Caribbean. Read Less

Spent 7 nights on Dec 24 2017 I was expecting a high end cruise experience and got a carnival cruise with face lifting here is why: 1. Up sales- from the point where you getting on board till you leave they doing everything they can to chase your wallet. TV channels that sales you stuff. People at mall. upgraded restaurants, even kids club party cost extra. Felt so cheap and annoying 2. Food at the windjammer (buffet) was low grade and not tasty. Food at the fancy dining room looked like the took food from Buffet and placed it nicely on a plate. 3. Crew- was very unhelpfully with zero motivation - looks to me very sad people that were forced to work at a minimum wage. 4. Everything is so expensive . like Shore Excursions- dont use the Royal plans . just go outside to find activity and you'll save 50%. There are more and more - but these are the main ones . Waste on money !!!! Read Less

As a family we have been on over 14 (now 15 cruises). Had only done Disney up to this point. Had always heard good things about Royal Caribbean. Was a serious let down. Nothing monumentally bad, just the over all experience was way below what I expected and have been told about for RC. The food was okay in the main dining room. The buffet food was horrible....military quality. My TV did not work property for over half the cruise...even after placing two calls. NO food available at all on the pool deck area. Had to tramp all the way down and through the boat to get a snack and then really NO SNACK foods (pack your own). the musty smell in the main dining room and in various areas around the ship was nasty. The constant selling as you walk through the shops area...almost as bad as the mall back home. Take plenty of cash...they charge $6.50 on the boat for ATM.... Read Less

Worst honeymoon ever. Ship was late getting to us on arrival date due the weather and scheduled maintenance delays. That wasn't too big of an issue. Our check in time was pushed back a few hours which was fine and around 3 pm we started the process to board the ship. Once on board, the crews were still preparing the ship and the rooms since they were behind schedule due to the delay. Our floor, floor 6 was the last to finish, about 10pm that night. So after almost 6 hours on board, we finally entered our room. Our room was the biggest disappointment. I suffered from a sinus infection when we boarded so Tissues were a must. I noticed that our tissue box in the bathroom was completely empty but I figured it was just an over site while they were in a hurry to finish all the rooms. I assumed house keeping would double check things on the second round of going through the rooms but that never happened. The box remained empty the whole trip. Yes I know it is a tissue box and it is not the end of the world, but I expect the rooms I am paying for to be thoroughly cleaned and checked before I am allowed to stay there which was far from what happened. Our Bathroom shower had mold in it. Visible black mold that was obvious from the first step inside. It would have been noticeable If someone was in the shower cleaning it before we were given the room. Who knows if they even cleaned it before they gave it to us, or if they were in such a rush they just changes the sheets and let us in. Plus the guests before us had to have noticed the mold in there before as I am sure it did not just appear in the 5 hours they got off and we got on. So gross and unsanitary. It has to be illegal to put paying customers in a room where the shower has mold growing in it. One of our 3 stops was completely canceled due to they delay in arrival and the weather so we had to spend an extra day on board. I would not have paid to go on a 7 day cruise with only 2 stops. Its not just about the boat, its about the stops. Our first stop was great in Cozumel and they gave us extra time there due to the next stop being canceled and having extra time. Spent the next day cruising all day and about 9pm after we got back to our room from dinner, we found a certificate on our bed for $50 off the spa next to our excursion tickets for the next day. The Spa certificate was to celebrate our honeymoon. It was also a joke. It could only be used on port days. We had one port day left and an all day excursion that had been booked a week before the cruise and the Spa was not open when we were back on the ship. It was a joke. Here are your tickets and a joke certificate we know you wont be able to use because you are off the ship all day and we are giving it to you the day before the last port day so that you can't work around the other port days you had, you only have one day to use it and we know you are busy so just pretend we are nice and giving you something nice for your honeymoon ever though you can't use it. Security was a joke on the ship as well as we sent our bag through the scanner with the alcohol we had bought in it and no one took it from us as we went through like they did with others. Yeah it was nice it didn't get taken, but still, what else did they let get through security and not confiscate. If you want to have an unsanitary shower, delay, canceled stops, useless gifts, and house keeping people who do not really check your rooms to make sure you have what you need then this is the cruise for you. If you like having a nice time and not worrying about anything, Book with Carnival. Read Less

Big group going and thought it would be fun. My traveling companion needed a wheelchair and while all the accessible rooms were gone, we were promised shower chair and taller toilet. Got NEITHER even after requesting them again. Ship was late arriving for us to board, supposedly due to weather, but everyone said that the earlier cruise passengers refused to leave staterooms due to their displeasure. It was a very long day for someone who is partially handicapped and for the person taking care of them. Then Grand Caymans was cancelled. That was the main port we wanted to visit. Not much to do onboard. Casino experience was awful and casino employees aloof to the point of rude. But there was nothing else to do. Also, be aware that even though you are given a lanyard for your sail card on every other cruise line, RC does not do that. You have to PAY for that. Really? On principal, I refused to pay $10 for a lanyard that probably cost them $.50. No internet cafe. You either pay $15.95 per day for WIFI or you don't get it. That is ridiculous. I can not imagine going on this line again, not after my awesome experiences with Princess, but I won a free cruise for two, so who knows? Maybe I'll use it just to gain something from this waste of 7 days. RC was highly recommended to me by some friends and family, but boy, am I correcting their opinion after my experience this past week. I did not speak to ONE person who enjoyed that cruise. And in my group was a diamond elite passenger (or whatever the top level is). She said it was her worse cruise ever. Read Less

Pre-paid excursion in Cozumel was canceled, without explanation. Pre-paid excursion in Jamaica was downgraded without anyone mentioning it, had to ask twice for refund in difference between “VIP” experience and regular experience. So, basically we got nothing we wanted. I understand weather is not under anyone’s control, but the way it was handled was lacking. This was my first cruise. It was way over crowded, so many problems, food in Windjammer was sub-par. There is no way I would recommend this cruise line to anyone. A total let down, I don’t think I could be more disappointed. I can say that my husband received good, competent healthcare on board the ship after a serious cut on his foot that occurred on the beach excursion in Jamaica. Read Less
