Maybe on was not so good ubt it wa OK. We Loved it! Go to the trouble of taking a few costume pieces, it made for a fun day. A lot of kids wer dressed up and I believe they gave out candy. We did not have kids with us. Everything else on the cruise was great also! All of the entertainment was wonderful. We signed up prior to the cruise for our entertainment and that was a good thing. No lines and better seats. EXCEPT CATS!! It was terrible, boring, too long and story? What story? We should have left way sooner than we did but did not wantt to crawl over folks but soon they were crawling over us. Met my expectations! Read Less

We had an excellent cruise. We were a little crowded because I had rented a scooter to get from one end of the ship to the other and the scooter had to remain in the room, at all times, when not in use. An accessible room was not available when we booked, so from now on we will only book accessible rooms, and if none are available, we will pick another itinerary. Our cabin steward was excellent and our waiter was exceptional. We didn't go to any of the $ restaurants since the food in the MDR was good and to our liking. We booked an inside balcony overlooking the Boardwalk and thoroughly enjoyed having breakfast on the balcony and enjoyed watching all the cruisers wander around the Boardwalk. We could see the Aqua Theater from our balcony and enjoyed watching the shows there. The perks that go along with the inside balcony were a treat. . . . Will be on the Harmony next October and are looking forward to exploring another of the Royal Caribbean ships. Read Less

What can be said about this ship except WOW From start to finish it was good, embarcation was easy, staff were great, the only one complaint was Chops restaurant, poor service, warm food and a waiter that was condescending, when I ordered a beer with my dinner he smirked and said something in his own language, we don't all like wine ! The entertainment was great, the ship was clean if not a little care worn! It's a big ship so expect to do quite a bit of walking, would we go again......yes without any doubt It's not cheap and Royal Caribbean are after every Dollar, I cancelled my gratuities and tipped who I thought deserved it Guest service desk were very helpful and always had answers for any questions. We called at Nassau which is a terrible place in our opinion and should be dropped from the stops. Labarde was fantastic though. We did back to back cruises so had 24 fantastic nights.....don't hesitate, go for it. Read Less

A relaxing seven-day trip! Our trip began in Tallahassee on October 6th as we drove to Gainesville to attend the Florida/LSU football game (what a game!). After the game we drove to Orlando and stayed at the Marriott Fairfield inn near the Orlando airport (a 45-minute drive to the port). We arrived at the port around 11:00 am and, for the convenience, we parked in the port garage - $136 for the week. Security and Check-in were efficient and within 15 minutes we were in the waiting area to board the ship. We were in the waiting area about 15 minutes and were in the Windjammer having lunch by 12:00 noon. As always, the paella was excellent! This was our fourth cruise on the Oasis class ships and our second on the Oasis of the Seas. The Oasis of the Seas is a beautiful ship and was clean and well maintained, although the ship is beginning to show wear on the carpets and furniture and on the pool deck. Since this was fall break for several southeastern states, there were a lot of families and kids on this cruise. We stayed in cabin 10209, a veranda room overlooking Central Park. As part of the package for staying in a veranda room overlooking Central Park, we received a complimentary bottle of wine and a lunch in Giovanni’s. The lunch at Giovanni’s was excellent. The room was well maintained and outstanding service was provided by our Cabin Attendant (Debra Jack)! The only minor issues we had were that our luggage arrived after dinner and our safe would not open the first evening; we called to have this remedied and they addressed the issue within 20 minutes. In the past, I have been critical of the food in the Main Dinning Room, but this time we found the food to be very good. The menus provided many desirable options. To increase efficiency, the bread is now in bowls on the table (not served to you) and when you place your order you select all courses, including dessert. Steven (waiter) and Alexander (asst. waiter) provided outstanding service. While the first couple of nights we were the only people at a table of six, two ladies joined us at the table later in the week. The highlight of our dining experience in the main dining room was the food and great conversation with our table mates. We did elect to purchase a speciality dinning package (three dinners for $85 plus gratuities per person). Two dinners at the Chops Grill were excellent (great food and service). The third night we went to Sabor and the food was very good, especially the guacamole. The entertainment on the ship was very good. Our favorite shows were the Headliner Show featuring Earl Turner, the aerial show - Come Fly With Me, the aqua show - Oasis of Dreams, and the ice show - Frozen in Time. The Cats production show was disappointing as it was hard to follow and the too-loud background music made it hard to understand the singers. Also disappointing was the sports channels that were offered on the ship, especially on Saturday when only two college football games were shown. Both ESPN channels featured European sports. Since most of the people on the ship were from the southeastern states, a lot of people were disappointed that no SEC football games were available Below are a few of the things that we enjoyed the most and a few tips to use on the ship: Favorite sweets: coconut cookies, oatmeal cookies, carrot cake, and the Austrian fruit breakfast bread. Favorite places to enjoy the pool or escape the crowd to read or take a nap: on Deck 17 in the Solarium near the bar under the shade. Favorite way to start the day: On the treadmill in the gym as the sun comes up or on the walking track on Deck 5. We also enjoy sitting in the chairs on the back of the ship on Deck 5 when the ship is leaving port. Beverage Package: We purchased the soda package. The self-serve Coke machines provide endless drink options and the machines are located in the Windjammer (four), two on the Promenade, and a single machine on Deck 15 in the Arcade. Many passengers do not know about the machine on Deck 15, unless you go into the Arcade. Best way to avoid the wait for elevators before dinner: Either take the stairs or come down early for dinner and have a drink in the many bars or food areas on Deck 5. Read Less

We choose this cruise because friend's were booked.Sept. 30 sailing. Boarding was 1 hour late so we were on at 12pm no big deal. Food. We ate breakfast mostly in the dining room service was fast they also had a buffet. No line up but when we went to windjammer on the way to the pool there was a line up but it seemed to move fast. No complaints on the food. Lunch. We ate mostly in the windjamme no line up maybe it was just the time we were going at around 1.30pm. Lots of choices some things were a little salty. Dinner. We ate in the dining room every night but 1 with a group of 12. We told them what time the first day and they had a table ready 5 to 10 mins. Service was excellent. Specialty. We ate at 150 Central Park. Best meal of the cruise . Diamond Lounge. Too small so they had an overflow deck 4 Blaze. Service was excellent. Shows were very good put some rescheduled due to rocking of the ship. We enjoyed the guitar player at the bar the most. Pools. I was very surprised that you could find a seat even on sea days. Departure we carried of and took 888 taxi to Orlando airport $25. Each. We had no problem making a 11.15am flight,. I will answer any questions if I can. I will have no problem rebooking this large of ship again. Read Less

First time traveling on RCI as an adult and the experience was great as expected. Oasis of the Seas is a beautiful ship in very good condition with tons of activities and stuff to do. We were two couples in the mid 20's without kids. I selected this ship because the last cruise was on Carnival Fantasy in 2015 and the experience wasn't great. I wanted to show my wife why I enjoyed cruising with RCI as a kid and was able to convince her on taking this one. The price wasn't expensive, and the itinerary was good as we would visit 3 new places. Embarkation and disembarkation were easy just very long line to pass through security/customs, but it moved quick. It took us around 30 minutes to get in/out of the ship. First day My first impression as I boarded the cruise was a little disappointed. Crew member weren’t giving a warm welcome and elevators were a mess. This elevator thing was a problem throughout the week. Most times they were very crowded and waiting times were like up to 5 minutes. Even more for people in wheelchairs. I read in previous reviews that crew members were pushing to sell drink packages, but we didn’t experience that at all. Maybe once or twice during the first day. I pre-purchased the First Night Done Right but didn’t know what to do. Most crewmembers had no idea on what to do and once they told I needed to make a reservation at Giovanni’s or Chops Grill it took like 20 min on the phone to be able to get it. We picked Giovanni’s and it was the best dinner of the whole week. I highly recommend the restaurant and it is totally worth it. After dinner we went to see Cats and it was quite boring to be honest. Show was canceled at intermission because wasn’t safe for the performants given that the ship was constantly rocking. Labadee First visit to Labadee was very positive. Lots of sunshine but also enough shade. We just enjoyed relaxing by the beach. Beach we picked was quite rocky that even with water shoes made it annoying. Food options were very limited and local vendors were quite irritating but only if you approach them. Falmouth Port is big and quite nice with many things to do around and shop. Excursion, not so much. One of the worst excursions we have had. Ocho Rios highlights and Rum Tasting. Total rip-off and complete monopoly by the tour operators. Tour guide couldn’t care less, and she was not knowledgeable and clearly guessing answers to basic questions. Cozumel Today started very early. We had to be at the meeting place at 6:45 am and the Windjammer opened at 6:30am. RCI should open the buffet earlier. People don’t want to eat breakfast in 5 minutes to then get into a boat. This might be the reason why there were so many people throwing up during the boat ride to Playa del Carmen. Visiting Chichen Itza took the whole day. Over 7hours siting in a bus or ferry. Actual time spent at location a little over 1 hour, which wasn’t enough to cover the whole attraction. Time allowed for shopping was about 10 minutes. Vendors are very aggressive and persistent. Actual tour guide was very good and knowledgeable. By the time we got back to Cozumel, it was almost boarding time so minimal opportunities to shop or eat. Entertainment was great. We barely had free time. There was always something to do. Most shows were awing or funny. Food was great and many places that we didn’t have the chance to try given so many places. Although for the most part there were long queues. I can keep going in describing the ship but overall it was a great experience and highly recommended. I’m not a seasoned cruise traveler (this is #4 is 15 years) but can’t wait to go again and it will be difficult to try a new cruise line since RCI is always reliable. Read Less

The service on all 7 days was TOP NOTCH- we have never had better. The MDR staff, our cabin steward, the kids club, the bar service- just wow! The Cruise Director kept us laughing and the Captain was a fine gentleman. We enjoyed the food and the shows. We cruise Disney, RCI and Celebrity. I have taken 2 Carnival Cruises and they were fine BUT RCI is our Cruiseline. Our son prefers RCI kids club over Disney- More engagement from the staff seems to.be the reason. I chose this cruise as I wanted to experience a huge ship- and it did not disappoint me. While there were over 6000 passengers-the only time it felt like that was during boarding and disembarkment. Even then, the process was relatively smooth for the number of people involved. The gem onboard was the Vintages Wine Bar! The sommelier staff was engaging, knowledgeable and a wonderful asset to the place! The wine list was impressive. And on the first day our group individually described to the sommelier our likes and preferences in wines and asked for a recommendations for each of us. All choices for our group of 6 were perfect! They held 4 wine tastings during the at sea times-French wines, Caymus wines, Italian wines, and a ‘special vintages’ tasting session. All 6 of us attended all of the tastings and were delighted and learned so much about wine and proper food pairings. Additionally, they held a Wine and Food pairing dinner that was a reasonable cost and I can’t say enough about how fabulous this was. It was a very limited number of people for the pairing dinner-and that made it all that much better! You had full attention of the sommelier staff as well as the the kitchen. They made adjustments to menus and assisted with selection of food to fit our individual tastes. It was truly an amazing experience. If you enjoy good food with wine-this is one location you can’t miss! Rohan and Josten are well versed in wine and food. Nemagna and Amaury were wonderful complements to this team! You won’t be disappointed. Next, the beach bungalows for up to 8 people are SO WORTH the cost of $250 for your group! Not only did it give you some distance from the crowds- but you had your own personal attendants to assist with drink procurement and information, and there was respite shade when the sun became too hot. Food in the Windjammer and dining rooms was good, but not great. I have had better on other RC ships. If you are interested in how the ship operates ‘behind the scenes’, the All Access Tour was made for you! All baked goods are prepared and cooked onboard, just the room to prep the meat alone is impressive. The laundry facilities are incredible and massive. And of course the tour of the bridge is the highlight. Your tour guides uses a special microphone to headsets for each person so that you never miss his/her information. Security is tight on board-and it just adds to the feeling of safety for all passengers. The ship itself is just so impressive. The working carousel, Boardwalk, Promenade and multiple theaters just add to the entertainment value of the ship. There are 2 Flow Riders, a short zip line, and lots of pools so that you never feel like your are crowded no matter where you are. Shows and entertainment are spectacular. The jogging track and fitness center are sure to please the active individual. Read Less

We are Floridians, and Port Canveral is convenient for us, and we had cruised with RCI before. We timed this cruise with my wife's birthday, and booked a junior suite. Not sure why, but three days before the cruise, we were upgraded to an owner's suite, which I only noticed by accident when accessing my SeaPass info. A slight negative, because we were never officially notified, and could have shown up at the ship with the wrong cabin tags, and SeaPass. Regardless, this was wonderful for us, but created a couple of minor problems. Namely, everyone originally thought we were the people previously assigned that cabin, and many of the special offers in the cabin were with their names on them. Not really a problem. BTW, we also received all of the perks and amenities that come with the suite class cabins. I did not tell my wife about the upgrade, until after we were in the cabin. She was blown away. Love at first sight, especially the bathrobes (not sure why). Despite how great the cabin was, the real perk was the suite extras. Namely, unlimited internet access for two, automatic entry to all entertainment shows, all day access to the Coastal Kitchen restaurant, and Suites Lounge, concierge services, and slightly expedited embarkation and greatly expedited disembarkation. Our 10+ cruises have all been on Carnival. We decided to try Royal Caribbean, even though it was a long drive to Port Canaveral. Wow, was it worth it! The entertainment on Oasis far exceeded what we expected: professional ice skating show, professional aqua/high diving show, & other fantastic shows. We were apprehensive about service & lines, since Oasis is one of the largest of all ships. But you'd never have known. Even the elevators moved smoothly. We chose and had early dining, seated with 2 friends that accompanied us. I thought the food was great; however, they were more critical. For sure, the waiters were very good. We were disappointed in the one RC excursion we went on at St. Maarten: a catamaran with 2 stops for snorkeling. There were no fish to see. At St. Thomas, on our own, we took a taxi to Coki Beach, which has some of the best snorkeling anywhere! Fish come & eat right out of your hand! My wife said it was the highlight of her trip. Next month on June 9 we are again cruising on Royal Caribbean, this time on Harmony of the Seas, a nearly identical ship to Oasis. We're so excited about it. A perfect vacation! Read Less

This was our third time on Oasis of the Seas. Just the two of us in a Central Park balcony stateroom. Plenty big and the bed was very comfortable. We brought our Pride GoGo folding scooters with us but didn't use them for the cruise. Lots of room for storing them in our cabin beside the couch. Just needed them the week after while we were at Disney World. Our stateroom attendant, Humlyn was amazing. She kept our cabin clean, well stocked with towels and other essentials and most of all, she was so friendly and always smiling. Royal Caribbean gave us a few unexpected perks for staying in a Central Park cabin such as a bottle of red wine, chocolate strawberries and a complimentary lunch at Giovanni's. Nice touch Guest Services! Enjoyed "First Night Done Right" at Chops Grill. Well worth the bargain price of $20 each. Service was amazing and special thanks to our waiter Andrew who took such good care of us. We enjoy sitting on deck 16 in the Solarium because of the shade and the quiet atmosphere away from the crowds. Never had a problem finding a chair or lounge and the hot tubs and pool were enjoyed thoroughly by us through the week. We found the food to be excellent in both the American Icon dining room, the Park Café, Windjammers and the specialty restaurants. If the menu was not to our liking in the dining room, then we ate a few evenings in the Windjammer. Service was excellent and the staff really go out of their way to make sure you have beverages by delivering them to you instead of you having to leave the table to get them. That was a service much appreciated. We had a table for 2 in the American Icon dining room (my time dining) and so happy to be at table 135 because of our amazing head waiter Mario and his assistant Arvin. Treated us like royalty and they worked hard and service was fast. Lobster night was great and delicious. Of course we enjoyed the Royal Promenade with all the entertainment, shops and yes... food counters. Royal Caribbean has such great staff who always smile and make your vacation so special. The ship is starting to show her age but she is clean and you appreciate how hard everyone works. We are Diamond class and did enjoy the Diamond Lounge. Only wish I had was that the drinks would be available maybe an hour later than 8:00 pm and that mocktails would be included since I don't drink liquor or beer. I just had Diet Cokes for the week. Please remember that all cruise ships have good and bad issues so you should always keep an open mind when booking a cruise but certainly don't be afraid to book the Oasis or similar Royal Caribbean ships. You won't be disappointed. Hope this review is helpful. Read Less

The waiters were especially friendly. If you have not tried the Chops Grill your in for a treat. It was great however the Allure ship's Chops was alot better, food was hotter when arriving to table. Be aware this Oasis has only one plug, located on your vanity, which you can use 3 plugs but if you would like a nightlight or hook up something else for across the room remember to bring a extention cord as this does not go the bed etc. The entertainment was excellent. We did one shore excurision in cosmel thru the ship and they were very orgainized. We went to XCart, which is a ferry ride away. Do not do this on your own, the ship is cheaper than if you did on your own. The beaches on Labedee are all different. One is more beautiful than another so make sure you take the shuttle all the way around, past all the outdoor markets and to the left, Ocean was beautiful there, other's were rocky. I would go on this ship again but desire different ports next time. I did like the sister ship Allure better as the room seemed bigger Read Less

Having read lots iof reviews about Oasis and noting more than one review talking about wear and a dry dock needed. Had to write a review to say everything is fine! Embarkation Orderly and generally smooth. The hardest part was getting through the traffic in the bus transfer to actually get to port but to be expected with 6000 people leaving and another 6k getting on. We arrived at port at 10:30 and we had our SeaPass ding by 11:30. Lines for everybody from Pinnacle to Gold but again very well organized with plenty of signs and announcements. As noted on this class of ship trying to go directly to the buffet can be a mistake, there are many free options that don't require battling 1000 other people for a table. We chose both Sorrentos and Central Park Cafe. Breakfast was split between Johnny Rockets, MDR and Central Park Cafe Lunch was something we generally skipped because we aren't huge foodies but would snag a snack from Cafe promenade or Sorrentos. First time on Oasis class for us and although not our favourite class of Royal ship still a great time. First time cruise for our 21 and 22 kids and by the end of the week had 2 new converts. My 21 yo loved the flow rider, rock climbing and the guacamole making class My 22 yo loved the champagne bar, Dodgeball tournaments, 3on 3 basketball, mini golf and the 24 hr hottub in the solarium. Cabins Deck 12 balcony and boardwalk balcony across the hall. Clean, comfortable and only one nod to wear-the balcony door had wear/rust in the track and was very loud and hard to open but again not a gamebreaker Kids liked the boardwalk balcony to people watch and show watch We did eat in the MDR most nights and the service (from Francisco) was outstanding and every dish we tried was hot and flavourful. Definitely too much food but we couldn't say no when he kept bringing more when he saw we liked a particular dish. Also tried Giovanni's Table one night and again Omer kept the food flowing the Lamb was excellent. Noticed cleaning staff regularly taking care if wiping down bannisters, vacuuming etc Trivia regularly in the On air club and Schooner bar turns out we aren't that good at trivia. Disembarkation We did self carry, got up had a quick breakfast in windjammer and went back to our cabins grabbed our luggage at 7:45 and were off the ship and through customs by 8:15 Could Oasis use a spruce up-sure I guess but you will have to look for wear and there are no areas that would detract from an overall great experience. When Royal Caribbean for the first time (with friends) Ship is very large. Easy to navigate around. They think of everyone aboard , Kids under 6 yrs have their own area, pools and play area. Food is some of the best I've had aboard a ship. I've been on many cruise's on other ship's. Servers are the best, they ask to help, even if in the buffet area, they'll get you any thing you may want, coffee, tea, juice or any thing else. Shows are the very best like Broadway shows, even the entertainment , such as piano bar, dance area's, Karaoke room was entertaining. Many things to do, never a down time. Very large Casino, table's for all type's of gamblers, big better's and those like me. Machines are much looser than most Casino's, Surprise . A seven day cruise seem's like a 3 day cruise. This is ideal for families. So much to do there is never a boring moment and it is less expensive then Disney. Among family favourites: Dreamworks characters, zip line, mini golf, ice skating, surf simulator, rock climbing, scavenger hunts, trivia, family kids' club activities (bingo, science experiments, art, etc.) and Sorrento's pizza. And these are all included in the fare! Our kids also enjoyed the arcade and Dreamworks breakfast which were an added cost. The kids' clubs offer a wide array of activities with a great view of the sea. Our own children do not like to go to the club, but enjoy the family activities run by their staff, which are very friendly and reliable. Rooms with bunk beds are a must for our family so everyone can sleep in their own bed. This time, we tried the Boardwalk balcony room number 12709. It was a great compromise since we could still have a view of the ocean through the back of the ship and enjoy the free Coca-Cola drinks packages for 2, the family reserved rock climbing (which is very limited, so sign up on the first day!), and the Specialty dining at Johnny Rockets diner for 4! Don't like crowds of large ships? Just learn to manoeuver around them by spending some time on the ship on port days and do the most popular activities before 10am on sea days. Keep your Specialty dining reservations for sea days when the ship is more crowded. There are so many places to eat for free, we normally do not pay for Specialty Dining. However, we received a dinner for two at 150 Central Park for free and we truly enjoyed the quiet atmosphere, delicious dishes, and wonderful service from Srdjan. My husband and I used the gym and the running track (very long and shaded on deck 5). Yoga and spinning classes are at an additional cost. :( We had a wonderful time on the Jungle Tubing Adventure to Bamboo Beach in Falmouth, Jamaica. It was the perfect length and price for our family of 4 with children 9 and 11 years old. The entire excursion lasted approx. 2.5 hours with a ride in an air-conditioned bus to the beach where we left our belongings. The bus driver then took us to the top of the river where we put on safety gear and got in the river as a group with a guide. The view was beautiful, the river speed was perfect for us, and the Jamaican heat did not get to us since we were in the water. I would highly recommend this excursion. The cruise ship lost some of our pictures (embarkation day) but made it up to us by giving us two pictures of our choice for free. Last year on Allure of the Seas, we heard that everyone's pictures were lost and many were very upset. For this reason, I recommend not pre-purchasing the entire set of photos. Read Less

The staterooms were spacious and extremely clean. Our room attendant was conscientious, attentive and genuinely a very lovely lady! Customer service on board was incredible, professional and reliable, from the entertainers to the concierge and the boutique staff. We chose to avoid the buffet and are veryglad we did. The main dining room offered an amazing ambiainace with such an exciting menu that we ate dinner there every night and also enjoyed lunch a couple of times. This is credit to our dining attendant Ronnie and his assistant Julie, both from the Philipines. They made us feel like family all the while, treating us with such class and attention. Chose to do another Oasis voyage, and loved the new Eastern itinerary (St Maarten, San Juan, Labadee). The crew were great, standard 2 berth balcony was perfect, no complaints about the quality of food. I cruise with my mom and we really are very easy to please kind of cruisers, not picky eaters, or complainers. The ports were great, our second time in St Maarten, first trip being before Irma. Forst time to San Juan and Labadee. We found the far forward cabins to move a bit more, which I actually prefer. Call me crazy, but I am one of those people who actually enjoy a moderate amount of turbulence. Hit the jackpot again with quiet neighbors, and at full capacity it didn't completely feel packed. Though in some areas it did, but you just have to use your noggin and realize that if a show is letting out or everyone is getting back from port heading to dinner it will be busy for a bit. Love Oasis class, will definitely sail again. The only thing I did not like was leaving my pupper for 7 days! Read Less

We choose this cruise based on the Caribbean area we wanted to visit. Customer service was a primary reason for my 10 rating. No matter where we went on the ship we were treated with great care, courtesy, and like family. Euclid, our food hostess or server was amazing. He made sure our large family was taken care of well. He learned and brought our vegetarian dishes asap, knew and brought the kids food right away, and made sure dinner was done to our likening. Also at breakfast and lunch, he was always checking on us making sure everything was good or if we needed anything. Paul who worked the bar at Sorrento's Pizzeria was great staff member. He remembered our names, was always smiling, and made our late night pizza cravings even better when chatting with him. Mukesh, who worked behind the bar, at the casino was a great delight and genuine kind person. He was always prompt and courteous in attending to our large group. He took very good care of us and was very sociable to talk with. Ricardo our room attendant was also very courteous and took care of all our room needs. He would always chat with us in passing, asking if everything was good, if we needed anything, or how the cruise was going. Every staff member we interacted or ran into was great and the above 4 mentioned were exceptional and should deserve great praise for making this one of my most family memories ever. They became family to us during those 7 memorable days and we will never forget them. Read Less

It was the best choice between Carnival and Disney! After our cruise my family was thoroughly convinced that ROYAL CARIBBEAN is the way to cruise!!! The ports of call were part of the reason for sailing with RC. NASSAU ,Bahamas was an excellent and inexpensive way to tour the Atlantis Hotel and it's water parks( we took a taxi, paid a total of $28.00 and did our own sight seeing.) With Charlotte Amalie,USVI we took a two hour tour around the island of St. Thomas. Later that day we went snorkeling on Castawygirl #4 and went to Turtle Cove and Shipwreck Cove( we saw sea turtles, stimgrays,a school of squid and various fish and a ship wreck!) The last port of call was Philipsburg,St Martin! OMG ,the water was calm and so greenish blue it looked unreal! We spent at least 6 hours in the beach soaking up the sun and floating in the crystal clear water( we couldn't believe how quick the time flew while relaxing in Philipsburg!) The only sad part of our trip was realizing that all good things have to come to an end! Let me tell you about the dining- The Silk restaurant on deck 5 had amazing food( NY strip steak, shrimp coctail, etc.) The buffets at the Solarium and the Windjammer Market place had a wide selection of breakfast foods and dinner cuisine. Our waiters Rhedjie and Patel ( we were table 829 Silk ) were top notch as well as the rest of the wait staff. As far as activities are concerned we enjoyed the mini golf, table tennis, dodge ball(there's so many activites it would take too long to mention.) Our cabin was spacious and had a center view of the bow and heli pad(it was beautiful to see each port head on as we pulled into Nassau,St. Thomas, and Philippsburg! Just aboit every crew member was polite anf artentive. My family is totally sold on Royal Caribbean,we can't wait to go again in the very near future. Read Less

Could not say enough good things about our recent cruise on the Oasis of the Sea. Aug. 2018 Keion (stateroom attendant) made us feel welcomed on the first day. Asked us at least twice a day, “how are day is and is everything ok”. If there was an issue, he addressed it immediately and got it resolved. Kenny (waiter at Chops) was amazing!!! Instantly made feel right at home and excelled at customer service while building relationships. Made such an impression, we came back an asked for him 4 different times we ate after. Recommend Chops and while your there, ask for Kenny to be your server!! Santosh( salesman at watch store) wasn’t over powering or presssure selling us. Had a great and long first conversation with him. He personalized the encounter by sending each of us a personalized note asking,”how are day was and excited to talk with us again”. On last day told us he had got some new merchandise to look at an found and got my wife her first watch. Ginny(spa attendant) fabulous!! Greatest experience I have had at a spa!! Good enough for my wife she went back 3 times for other treatments with Ginny!! If you can, indulge yourself. Thank you to all on our cruise for the personalized touches and superior service to make our cruise memorable!!! Recommend to all and we will be back!! Read Less

We picked this cruise line Oasis of the Seas for several reasons: Entertainment was top rated So many activities for my teenage son that he was exhausted at night Shore Excursions from swimming with the dolphins to scuba diving Dining was 5 star. Menu changed each night. So many choices hard to pick from. Ship was impeccable. Such a beauty to look at and be on. Cabin with the balcony facing the water was breath taking. This ship has everything for everyone. Singles that just want to have fun, families with small children, parents with teenagers and retirees now having fun. I can't image a person leaving this ship without the most wonderful memories. The staff will go the extra mile to make sure your experience is one to remember Royal Caribbean will be the only cruise line that I use. Thank you to the Captain and staff for everything . Ship was huge and beautiful. Service and food was the same. There was a variety of things to do whether you were 2 or 92 years old. Ports of call .. especially St Martin and St Thomas, didn’t disappoint.. exotic and romantic! Areas of the ship were for 16 and over, and my 16 yr old son felt comfortable and grownup therespent most of our time at sea on the Solarium. My son even spent time on the ice, although the rink was a bit small... Always something to see and do. Central Park was our favorite part of the ship, and the promenade was always active and lively. As for food and beverage, we could always find somewhere to get a bite or a drink... Will book a suite on the next trip.. amazingly spacious and comfortable. Staff went above and beyond to please us. can’t wait for the next trip... Read Less

First off, traveling with severe peanut and tree nut allergies is very risky and frightening, and typically, the food options are very limited. We were EXTREMELY PLEASED with the care and overall quality received from our serving team in the Grande dining area as well as of the food options that were safe in the Windjammer restaurant. Goodfredo, Alfredo, and Chadwick in the Grande dining area were OUTSTANDING - they provided us with an extremely high level of service, concern, and great options that were safe to eat for someone with a peanut and tree nut food allergy. They even went the extra mile to ensure we had dessert and bread options, which was greatly appreciated. Also, I forgot the names of our room attendants, but we had two different attendants: one in 7202 and one in 7204. They both were AMAZING! The rooms were extremely clean, and we couldn't wait to get back to our rooms each night to see the creative towel-animals they put in each room. The attendants were OUTSTANDING. Also, I wish to compliment the staff for allowing me to return two cases of unopened water for a full credit. I erroneously ordered too much water, and the staff allowed me to return the two unopened cases - much appreciated. The only two areas where our cruise fell a little short of expectations were at the various pools: too many guests are allowed to simply place towels on chairs in prime areas, and then disappear for hours. We routinely saw guests put towels in chairs of a great location, then leave for restaurants or wherever, and not come back for a long period of time. That practice should be stopped. Also, the pool service servers were extremely slow and inconsistent. On multiple occasions, I even gave a large ($10 or $20) cash tip with hopes of getting faster repeat service, but the service was fairly slow and weak. The only other suggestion for improvement is with the shore excursions, as there was not clear direction on where to go or how to meet our excursion experience. There should be more direction provided for the excursions, and more assistance from Royal Caribbean staff once on the pier. Overall, this was the first cruise for my family and we thoroughly enjoyed Royal Caribbean, and will definitely be back. We even took part in the all-access ship tour, which we loved. The Oasis of the Seas staff is AMAZING....my family has very high standards for our vacations, and the staff thoroughly exceeded them! We loved our balcony rooms and were very happy to be able to open up the balcony door and interior door between each of the rooms. Most especially, the variety and quality of the food options for someone traveling with peanut and tree nut food allergies were WONDERFUL and GREATLY APPRECIATED! We cannot thank enough Goodfredo and Alfredo for their concern and care for our food allergies. Read Less

Tons of activities for all ages... we especially loved the Oasis orchestra and singers from cats cabarets and concert. Entertainers were very friendly with guests while remaining professional. embarkation took a little too long in my opinion, but was pretty smooth and our bags were delivered in a timely fashion. Highly recommend a balcony cabin... makes your whole cabin bigger. Nice that balconies can connect if traveling in a group. Found the boat rocky due to high winds even though we were middle of ship. Traveled with ages 2-71 and everyone was happy with the food and activities. My daughter (14) enjoyed the teenage club and it’s variety of activities. EXCELLENT service in dining rooms and by room steward. Ports were great. We never felt unsafe... Would be nice to have a longer day in St Thomas. Had a very rude experience with port shopping services after an issue with jewelry at St Maarten. The one and only issue of an otherwise wonderful trip. Read Less

We chose this cruise because we had children that went with us. We looked at some videos online and it seemed fun for them. Honestly once you got on there, there was not much to do. Once you have done everything you get kind of bored. For the children’s club they spent most of their time playing Gaga ball. Two of the kids had fun but my one child did not like Gaga ball therefor she did not like kids club so only go there if you like Gaga ball. She was in the 9-11 group. The shows on the ship were fantastic. The food was not too great on many occasions. The staff was very nice but the food was lacking in many areas. The buffet was not as good as on other ships and was very unorganized. Our cabins were very nice. The showers were a bit too small and my father could not fit in them. Once they turned our couch into a bed they did not change it back she we could not watch tv anymore without wanting to lay down. Overall the cruise was okay but it was very expensive, especially the drink package and overall was not what we expected. They raised our expectations a little too high. Overall I would not sod this cruise again and would instead to a smaller, cheaper ship that cost less but still gave the same things. Read Less
