The Infinity is a nice ship and the staff is wonderful. I would highly recommend to anyone. It is my understanding they are remodeling it within the next two years although I'm not sure it really needs any updating. From the buffet to the specialty restaurants, the service was constantly excellent. We had two staterooms, a suite for the first part then aqua class for the second. For suite guest, you get to eat in an awesome restaurant called Luminae. It is fantastic. I can't speak high enough of the food and service. For Aqua you get to eat in another specialty type restaurant called Blu. I now understand the debates on which one is better. I can honestly say both for an amazing experience and you really can't go wrong with either. The fast speed internet is a nice change from other cruise lines. It is so fast you can easily stream apps like Hulu, Netflix, etc.. The entertainment was really good and not cheesy like other other lines. I will say if you have the opportunity for the suite experience just one time in your life on Celebrity it is worth the money and is just such a nice treat. Our Butler Arnish was so great. Just know whatever stateroom you pick, you'll be happy on this ship. The coffee shop was so much better than the chains. We went there every day. Also great service. We already have another Celebrity cruise booked and will most likely be booking more after that. After being on several of the others it is worth paying a little more for the treatment you get on Celebrity. Read Less

This was our 17th cruise and 2nd on Celebrity; we love Celebrity. Our first was last year on the Equinox. We enjoyed both of our cruises! We cruised Concierge on the first one and in a regular balcony cabin on the Infinity. We would only repeat Concierge if we found a really good deal. We enjoyed our regular balcony cabin every bit as much as the Concierge. As a matter of fact our cabin steward for this last cruise was one of the best we have ever had! I have to apologize because I do not remember some facts....like our stewards name! But I do remember our cabin #!!! lol 7176 it was a little more aft than we prefer and the A/C did not work very well at all and the toilet stopped flushing several times during the cruise ( didn't last too long and each time we were told they were working on it and it affected many cabins not just ours)......other than that it was a fine cabin. BUT I will say if you do not want to be directly across from the elevators then this cabin is not for you. You got off the elevators and the door was right there. Having said that it was not too noisy; yes you could hear people walking to and from the elevators and you could hear the ding as they arrived...but it did not bother us. The ship is older and in need of some care in places.....but we love the smaller ships and we thought she was beautiful. The food was fine. Not great. Just fine. The MDR was beautiful. There were plenty of places to stroll around deck as well as sit down. We really enjoyed the Rooftop Terrace on Deck 12! Get there early for a shaded reclining sofa'bed......this is where they show movies on an outside screen! We used this more than the Solarium because the Solarium was pretty crowded each time we went. Just as on our first cruise we loved Cafe Al Bacio! Great place to sit and read or play cards! Entertainment was okay. There were some really good musicians around the ship in different lounges. Customer services, for the most part, was good. Embarkation was a breeze, as well as debarking. Very, very smooth and easy. We self-assisted off. We did no specialty dining this cruise so I can't say anything about those venues. The only reason I did not give this ship a 5 star rating is because the food wasn't the best, the buffet didn't have much variety day to day. And the cabin didn't stay that cool. Would we sail on Infinity again? Yes we would not hesitate to. Go ahead, enjoy! Read Less

We disembarked from Ft. Lauderdale. If you're there early, Las Olas beach is the place to go! A lot of fun and a great beach. Hollywood beach is pretty great too! Our disembarkation was very smooth and seamless. The ship was beautiful and in good repair. Those people who say its not must really be looking for something because its super clean, well lit, and looks great. Our Cabin and attendant (Seby) were great, we had a veranda and having the patio was very nice to have! Dining was SO GOOD! Check out Qsine if you're looking to upgrade a meal for a night, the entertainment is AWESOME! Our servers in the main dining were so attentive, helpful, friendly, and fun! The food we had was absolutely delicious and it was fun exploring outside of our comfort zones! The entertainment was alright, the shows were okay. It was a good way to pass the time. I think I went in expecting too much though. The theater is beautiful! If you're looking for something to do, one of our favorite things to do was at the very top and back of the boat... GO early and grab a little cabana, snuggle up with your SO, and watch a movie! Service: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Cozumel was great, the people are super friendly! Key West was okay... our snorkel got cancelled. We rented an electric golf cart for the day and drove EVERYWHERE to explore. That made it more fun for sure! OVERALL: We would absolutely go again! Booked our next one on the ship, WE CANT WAIT! We are elite members on Celebrity. We finally convinced 2 couples to try a cruise and join us, so we thought a 5 night cruise would be a great introduction. We booked A2-- cabins 1104, 1106, and 1108. Knowing the amenities you are supposed to receive, I did not pack my usual shampoo, cream rinse, Q-tips, cotton balls, shower cap, etc. The amenities were not the upgrades, and I had to ask and wait 2 full days for some. Our slippers and tote bag were not received until day 3, and that was after heading down to guest services multiple times. One of the cabins did not have robes upon embarkation. They were received the following day. There was no bottle of wine awaiting us either -- found out later after speaking with the supervisor of guest services that you need to ask to have it delivered. We have been in Aqua class before -- if they change how things are done, they really need to communicate. We had really talked up Celebrity, especially Aqua class, to our friends, and frankly, I was a little embarrassed. Very disappointing. More about the cabin below. Embarkation was the quickest we have ever experienced, and we were on board the earliest ever. The food and service at Blu was amazing. Cannot say enough good things about this restaurant -- it is worth booking Aqua class just to eat here. No need for a specialty restaurant. The buffet was very good for most breakfasts and lunches. We stopped by the comedy show on the first night but did not stay. He was so/so. We didn't go to any of the other shows. Overall, the ship was clean and service was good. Read Less

Among the companies I've been to, Celebrity remains my favorite. Despite the age of the ship, it is well maintained. Food excellent as well as the service offered. As small points to be observed, the cabin shampoo was not replenished, as well as the landing had long wait in the elevators, in addition to missing menus in the bars. However, these points did not ruin the experience, which was highly positive for a 5 night cruise.boarding of the concirge class was extremely agile, as was the process of landing at the ports. Especially positive point for the indoor heated pool and the staff in the main dining room. It was with family in which many did not speak English, and the menu offerings in Portuguese were extremely helpful for us. The ilounge with sales of Apple and JBL products is a differential. I hope to embark again with Celebrity cruises. Read Less

This was our first cruise and Celebrity did NOT disappoint! The ship is in A-1 condition! I thought it was absolutely beautiful and well maintained especially for it's age.I only have 3 complaints. Complaint #1- We encountered 1 very, very rude bartender..he must of been having a bad day, but not going to let one bad apple ruin a great review for the rest of the staff who were AMAZING! Complaint #2 the other passengers need to be given instructions at the Muster Drill on Buffet and Elevator etiquette. Complaint #3..I upgraded my drink package to premium for the "honest ice tea" and it was no where to be found on board. They had Arizona Ginseng Honey tea in a can, I'm just not a fan. This would not keep me from the premium drink package on the next trip. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND either the Classic or Premium drink package, it truly is worry free :) Other than those 3 small things which are not Celebrities fault the ship, the crew, the food, the drinks, the entertainment and the cabin were nothing short than AMAZING! Our wait staff in the main dining room was EXCELLENT by the 2nd night, our drinks were on the table before we even sat down. We had dinner in Q-Sine on the 4th night and we highly recommend this, the food was perfection! We can NOT WAIT to sail with Celebrity again! Read Less

I want to start this off on a positive note, not that I consider this a negative review. You can stop reading after that. The next paragraph is the most important!!!! The highlight, which we went to twice on a five night cruise, was Le Petit Chef. THAT was something else. I think the price is a bit high, but we still went back a second time. I have no idea where you would find this experience other than here! I booked this 2 years ago to take my 92 YO Mom on a cruise. She had a companion who helped her a lot. The interior spaces are fine, but the exterior need scraping and painting. I understand they did an "upgrade" but I only saw Celebrity "normal". I think most of the improvements went into the high end suites (we were in a S2) and common areas that need their normal carpet change etc. They certainly didn't do much to the superstructure. I was disappointed in the buffet offerings and quite frankly, after all this time, the Luminae menu needs help. X needs to check the demographics, I believe that they will find many of the Suite guests are repeaters. We need a more variety because even though the MDR is offered, that is getting pretty lame too. No more JVS meatballs etc. Still, James, our waiter would give me meat sauce from the MDR on the Oriechetta served in Luminae. THAT is the level of service in suites! You get what you pay for. Mom was in a wheel chair and the staff went out of their way to have patience while she slowly went from wheel chair to a table chair. Several people asked about taking the elderly, X will help all they can. We rent a scooter, we have had them successfully before, but this one was a bit too peppy. It scared her so she wouldn't use so we pushed her. We used the Airport transfers. The bus staff would not help her, they left it to the companion. Please note, this was a family friend, not a service person. They dropped them off at American instead of Southwest. Read Less

We thought Infinity was in relatively good shape considering her age, and wouldn't rule her out for another five-night cruise. Because we took advantage of a super deal which included all four amenities, we felt we got a big bang for our buck, thanks in part to VTG. We never ate in the dining room, and only a couple of lunches and one evening meal in the Oceanview Café. The food in the latter was warm at best, and we felt the selection was somewhat limited. We loved our lunches and dinners in Luminae, the suite-only restaurant. The food was absolutely out of this world, the service was excellent, and there was plenty of ambiance to boot! We thoroughly enjoyed the performance of highly talented Comedian Ralph Harris who pulled off a touching impression of an old man to end his show. Sadly, his 'adults-only' show that was to take place on the third night never materialized. We did sit through and sang along to a set by a young lady who belted out old favorites and strummed her guitar in the aft bar area to the delight of her audience (sorry, can't remember her name). Having sailed with Royal Caribbean many times, we definitely noticed that Infinity's entertainment offerings were comparatively slim. We did appreciate that the casino, while extremely tight, was smoke-free and thus a whole lot more enjoyable than those on other cruise lines. We found the staff fairly friendly and helpful, albeit few spoke English well. Luckily, the horrible odor from what I thought might have been a plumbing malfunction that was evident as I returned to our room on the last night wasn't there earlier during the cruise. Embarkation and disembarkation were smooth and extremely fast. All things considered, we enjoyed our little 40th Anniversary get-away, although we would have preferred destinations other than Costa Maya and Cozumel, both of which have lost their charm over the years, and its vendors not the most honest people. I'm not just referring to Mexican merchants! Buyer beware, for sure! Read Less

Ship: While a smaller, older ship, Infinity was in great shape - much better than some of its contemporaries on other cruise lines. Cabin: Quiet and in great location Dining: Was in an Aqua class cabin which provides access to the Blu restaurant - the Blu staff were so friendly and attentive and the food was excellent. The atmosphere of Blu is quiet, contemporary and upscale. Service excellent. Entertainment/Activities: Had 2 different comedians, both pretty funny. Had 2 production shows, both very good. Had 1 'crooner', who started the show pretty good but wasn't my type of music and left early. The wife enjoyed the silent disco twice as well as the trivia. I enjoyed the Persian Gardens spa (included with Aqua class). Was very nice to have use of slippers/robe while utilizing the facilities. Service: Used guest services to inquire about missing OBC. Nice lady resolved the issue. Ports/Shore excursions: Used OBC to pay for Celebrity shore excursions - CM41 - Kohunlich & Dzibanche Mayan Ruins Combo - Ruins were amazing with not too many visitors. Bus ride long, but comfortable. Tour guide was OK but a little hard to understand. Lunch was a little disappointing - thin slice of ham with American cheese on white bread. CZ13 - Fury Catamaran Snorkel and Beach Break - the snorkeling was OK, not great reef but they fed the fish and they showed up. The beach was fantastic with lots of room in both shade and sun. FT01 - Everglades Airboat Ride (Ends at FLL) - simply a bus ride to the Sawgrass Rec Park, then to the airport. Very well organized and saw very active gators, turtles, and birds. Very easy/relaxing/interesting way to spend the morning instead of waiting at the airport for a late afternoon flight. Read Less

This was our first 5 day cruise - it was much easier to fit into our busy work schedule and we had a blast! We thoroughly enjoyed the not-huge size of the ship, and the fellow passengers (few children and no crazy party people). The time of year was handy; it fit into our schedule. It’s wonderful to visit hit places when it’s cold and snowy at home. Also, we made friends on this cruise. We have not done this before. We plan to cruise together next year. We have already been communicating with them. We did no excursions. We very happily remained on the ship and enjoyed what is had to offer. The only small concern was that there were no enrichment activities. We enjoy them. Also, portrait photos were not taken very often. That can be improved in. I always love my cruise photos and portraits! They are always great. Read Less
