We had previously cruised on Oceana and loved it. We chose Britannia as we could only travel in August and we liked the ports of call in the med. We had a balcony cabin on deck 12 midship. The cabin was modern and equipped with all we needed. Our cabin steward was very polite although he didn’t clean as I thought he should have, eg he never hoovered once in 14 days. Food was excellent in all restaurants. We had a dining experience in the Epicurean which was outstanding. We found all staff polite and welcoming. There was a packed itinerary of activities all day. In my opinion cruising is value for money. The gym wasn’t the best. There was lots of cardio equipment but the free weights area was somewhat lacking. There was one lat machine with only one side working. The main pool on Lido deck was very busy and noisy but the adult on section on the deck above was peaceful. The air conditioning inside the ship was set to quite cold so I’d advise a cardigan or sweater in doors if you are sensitive to the cold. Disembarkation was organised, we were able to find our luggage without any problems Read Less

Booked this cruise as had a money off certificate from the last RCI cruise. Embarkation took 10 minutes, we must have lucked out and arrived at the perfect time (1pm) Overall really enjoyed the cruise. Ship was clean with lovely decor. Stateroom was a good size (Balcony room) and the attendant did his thing every day very well. Dining. Food in the MDR was OK but nothing special, buffet was good with loads of different options. Had a choppes grill which was superb, highly recommend. Also the pizza at Sorrentos was absolutely delicious! We saw several of the shows (theatre and Ice) and they were all amazing. All the staff were really nice and friendly, but the bar staff seemed very busy in the evenings and they could do with more bar staff IMO My 2 gripes were that the ship felt a bit too busy/crowded at times, and that in the casino they literally want to screw you out of every last penny. The blackjack has the worst rules of any casino in the world coupled with 6/5 payoffs for a blackjack, which is an insult basically. Anyway if you are not a casino lover you will have a great time on Indy, but as we are gamblers my next cruise will be with NCL. Im sure they will be just as stingy but I feel I need to vote with my feet, Read Less

Very poor entertainment, had a 10yr old with us that hated kids club (couldn’t blame her) same stuff on every night. The spa on the ship was appalling, still kicking myself for not walking out. Bar closed at midnight, nowhere else except room service to get a drink. Staff entertainment didn’t show up on numerous occasions. Was a complete waste of money, hated every moment of being on the ship. Luckily we managed to see some amazing places. Great thing was the room, always clean and tidy. Although they never topped up the mini bar. Found out towards the end that you had to ask and sign for anything after the first night. Plus only complimentary water on the first night! Just constantly felt like there was nothing to do, was definitely aimed at the older crowd. If you want to know how to get rid of fluid retention this is your ship *yawn* Read Less

Sapphire Princess is a wonderful ship, one of the Grand class- which we have liked the most of the many ships we have been on. this class is set up with most of the entertainmenton deck seven. On Sapphire and Ruby -three beautiful well maintained dance floors. Kudos for bringing us singer Peter Howarth and the band "Atomic" both were awesome. Atomic is the best lounge band ever on a cruise ship. The stage band was excellent too. We did not enjoy the other stage shows - we have seen beatles tribute bands many times before, and unfortunately the ships stage performers were well below par. We are dancers and really appreciate the recorded ballroom music offered. The embarkation process was smooth, arrived and checked in within 30 mins. Our cabin was indoor, c366 and was as expected. Not a huge amount of hanging space/storage but for a short cruise was adequate. It was a port intensive cruise. We visited Gijon, it was meant to be la coruna but due to poor conditions the port was changed. A nice coastal resort worth walking to park and headland opposite old town. Bilbao we didn’t do an excursion we got the shuttle to town. Did an independent walking tour, took the funicular up for views. Took the metro to areeta, walked back via there to ship 3.5 km - nicer than central Bilbao. La Rochelle was lovely. €9 to enter all 3 towers. Loads of eating choices. No need for excursion if forecast is good. Cherbourg we went to mount st Michael. Our guide was rather eccentric and got only an hours free time after excusing ourselves of his company. Journey was 5 hours. Organised ship excursion and the most disappointing Read Less

Though Cunard are not the cheapest, the whole experience was slick and smooth. We booked a Britannia balcony cabin, with coach transfer as part of the deal. Excellent coach to Southampton with two stops on the way. Arrived on time and in cabin within 30mins. We chose earlyt dining (6.30pm) on table of 8 and had good company - we moved round the table as the cruise progressed. Formal dress (jacket a must), but informal dress at the all day Lido restaurant, which we chose on three occasions. Food and service in the Britannia restaurant were excellent, but be warned, alcoholic drinks are pricey. Lido food also very good with great choices for breakfast, lunch and evening meal. We didn't use any of the other restaurants (eg Verandah) were there is an additional charge. Evening entertainment was very good, and excellent at times, though we didn't see all the one hour shows. At 60 and 67 we were probably in the younger 10% on board. Only impact was the day time entertainmeent and some shows are aimed at the older age group. It didn't bother us at all. Excellent range of activitiess each 'sea day', including lectures/talks on forensics, historical evcents and politics. Also food demos, Bridge classes, line dancing, cinema and much more. Excursions are pricey, but good guides. We did two and found nearest Tourist Info and explored on foot in Cadiz, Venice, Hvar, Dubrovnik and Cagliaria. Need to book a tour for Sicily as Messina is just a dock port. Not much in Gibraltar either except tour of fortifications, which was very good. High street is like any British city. Gratuities are pricey (about £21 per day), but we went to Reception and asked to remove this from our bill - done without fuss. We arranged our own (well earned) gratuities at the end of the cruise to Head Waiter and Cabin Steward. Sockets in cabin are American and British. Tea and coffee makig facilities in cabin and all day in Lido, but hot drinks were reasonably priced in cafes on board. All in all, excellent experience - our first cruise, if a little pricey overall. Choose this cruise as we have sailed with lots of other cruise liners. Thought we would try MSc. Bad mistake.! Beautiful ship. Poor cold food. Cheese on most foods. Two of our guests are cheese intolerance. Staff were not interested when you asked them for anything. They just said over there, And pointed .if you asked them for anything they went away, and didn't return. We were not the only people to complain one lady who spoke in another language but we understood what she was saying no food for baby .! Says it all really. In the restaurant entertainment Staff were seen not using the hand sanitizer. Twelve staff entered in only two used sanitizer. Spreading germs in the restaurant. This is a beautiful ship. But let down by the restaurant staffing. It was apparent that the staff were not happy. Nor were the passengers. I have never saw or witness such poor unhappy staff in all the ships we as a family we have travelled with. We were travelling with a person who has disabilities. Staff even didn't help when she was struggling. Read Less

We chose this cruise because it was sailing to the destination we desired and because of the raving reviews. We can fault NOTHING and praise EVERYTHING. From the luxurious and stylish design of the ship, to the amazing, warm and sweet service we received, to the food, oh my God the food was amazing. To the room, cleaned twice daily. To the itinerary, the entertainment (thank you Eddy!) To the bedroom and bars. We had awesome servers in the MDR- Jerry kept filling my husband's glass with wine, Myo and Rajni were so attentive to us! Filip in the Sunset Bar was great, Gina, our room attendant, was the best. Eddy, the cruise director and Jayne Curry with her wonderful voice and amazing personality. We loved every second of it and although it has been a few days since we returned home, we miss it. My husband opted for the Standard Alcohol Package which offered him quite a variety of house wines, beers and spirits. I had the standard non alcoholic package and enjoyed treating myself to lush teas and premium coffees. The food both in the Ocean View Cafe and MDR was amazing. We did not try any speciality restaurants because we were super impressed with the MDR food. All in all, this was one of the best holidays of our life. We are in our mid 30s so we have def changed our view that a cruise is for the older generation! It was full of young and young at heart 40, 50 and 60 year old holiday makers. Read Less

Liked the healthy choices. Tha staff at the anytime dinning was very friendly. I would go back and take this cruise with the same ship again. The gym had very good quality new equipment. The shame of P&O's fleet, the Adonia, returns from dry dock transformed into the luxury, five star, country house hotel experience aka The Pursuit. What are the chances of that happening? What a load of old blether. The cabin was hideously dusty, the 'bathroom' cramped and badly designed, and the first time since the Heysham ferry I've hated the way a ship performed in slight 'weather'. This from someone who's felt perfectly fine going through a hurricane with 100ft waves in the QEII. Stick a funnel on a margarine tub and you get the picture. I feel thoroughly ripped off. Never having used Azamara before (we're itinerary driven cruisers) we asked other passengers was this the usual Azamara experience? All said a resounding 'no' and 'that the service was way below par'. We met a couple who'd been on the Adonia just before Azamara took her over and said there was little difference save a coat or two of paint! I accept this was only the second voyage for the ship but the crew really need better training. Having young officers openly mocking passengers whilst using the dining facilities is frankly appalling. On seeing an overweight disabled passenger one young officer shouted out 'I can see a whale' as the poor soul struggled past. Shame! Worse still the senior officer present didn't rebuke them. The Captain really has to take responsibility for this. I don't don't want a big 'happy family' of a crew I want a well-structured/disciplined professional framework of command and leave the jokes to the Cruise Director (who incidently was the best thing on the ship). Incidentally first time a ship's crew have tried to alter reality to cover their failings. Howsabout admitting fault, apologising, and try to do better? You will get caught out otherwise. I will never use Azamara again. Emperor's New Clothes Outfit. Read Less

Wanted to visit the Baltic and Celebrity was recommended by friends who frequently cruise. A very good experience overall. A well organised embarkation and on board earlier than expected. Had to wait a few hours before cabin ready but expected that. First impressions of ship was exceptionally clean but thought it was very dated. Extremely friendly staff, always helpful and very polite. Balcony cabin was ok. Ship seemed huge at first but soon got our bearings. Thought muster meeting was dreadful. Poor view of the screens and poor quality presentation. In a nutshell, it didn't serve the purpose it was intended for. Dining - huge choice of food in ocean view cafe, catered for all. Staff worked extremely hard and tried to accommodate the huge amount of people. Was crowded at times so you had to try to visit earlier or later to get a seat. Staff in main dining room were excellent and certainly looked after us. They were most accommodating and food was excellent. Entertainment - we enjoyed the entertainment in the lounge and sky lounge, great fun at times too, especially Abba night and silent disco. Also enjoyed the shows we watched but only saw three. Also attended two talks ("10 things you may not have known about ...") and these were informative and entertaining. Thought gym could have been larger and not enough upright bikes, only 2. Pool area very busy and decks packed, especially on sea days. Loungers could have been better managed. Nevertheless, very clean and well maintained, especially indoor pool area, Enjoyed all countries visited, Bruge is small and beautiful, ship shore excursion too expensive, paid £72 for the 2 of us, wish I did my own. Loved Copenhagen, very interesting and loved the design of the city. We walked in from the ship. Very easy and straightforward. Stockholm very pretty. We walked into the city, which took 25 minutes. Very hot and busy and wish we had used hop on and off buses. Tallinn was a beautiful surprise, bigger than we thought. Just lovely there, easy to walk from the port. St Petersburg: booked TJ Travel, excellent, 3 full days and great driver and very knowledgable guide. St Petersburg is simply magnificent. Rostock: again we made our own way there using bus, train and tram. Once you understand ticket machine quite straightforward, shame we couldn't dock in Warnemunde but can't blame captain for that. Rostock well worth a visit. Overall we had a really enjoyable and interesting holiday. I would go with this company again due to overall cleanliness, lovely staff and great food. Bug bears: stop pushing speciality dining on us, move customer relations section from lounge, more seating required in many areas of ship. I also wished I did more research prior to booking as I paid over a £1000 more than others (and had less), for example, we were in a balcony room and others who paid less were in concierge plus had port and gratuities included in the deal. We were keen to visit many of the Baltic destinations and Celebrity Cruises had been recommended to us by friends. The ship was excellent and certainly met the vast majority of our needs. All of the staff were extremely attentive and the service was excellent across the ship. Our experience in the main dining room was also excellent with an extensive and impressive range of menu options. The Ocean View cafe was also generally very good though it was often overcrowded. Other cafes and bars generally offered a very good service. Live entertainment was of a very good standard and the evening shows were all teriific. We particularly enjoyed all of the live music which was on offer throught the day. We also enjoyed the talks given by guest lectureres and the Cruise Director. We enjoy ballroom dancing and it was good to be given the opportunity to do this each evening. It would have been better though if the times could have varied a bit more to avoid clashing with our alloted dinner sitting. It would also have been a good experience to have had live music provided at least once for this purpose. The highlight for us were the ports and shore experiences. We used the shore excursions several times in Bruges and St Petersburg and these were very well organised. Disembarking and re-embarking was a straightforward process each time. There was though, I felt, a shambolic service at times from the shore excursions desk in that it was extremely undermanned at key times and a lack of clear information about where to pick up the correct shuttle / hop on hop off bus tickets. As a first cruise expereince this was excellent for both of us. We are certainly considering cruising again in the near future. Read Less

The Navigator of the Seas this cruise was exceptional! From the moment you arrive at the Southampton Cruise Terminal the customer service made getting our luggage and ourselves so quickly and easily. All rooms were ready at 1:00 PM. CABINS- The cabin was clean, stocked and the attendant catered to every need. The beds were super surprisingly comfortable for both my husband and I . The cabin was well insulated and we slept soundly every night. We had absolutely not one issue with our cabin. We wished we would have upgraded to a balcony to get the cool north sea breeze into our room but we didn't think about it . FOOD-The food was exceptional as well. EVERYWHERE. From the windjammer we decided to eat there most evenings. The chef Joseph on this ship prepared fresh fish and chips for our table with different fish every night. This was not the norm. He saw how we enjoyed them on day one and they were not on the menu any other night so he brought a platter each night. Another aspect of the food was they really took great care and made the food comparable to the ports. Like we were in Germany and they had sausages...The mornings they made sure the English and different Europeans had their traditional foods available as well . (We are Americans). The Cafe Promenade Coffee was one of our favorites. They had ILLY coffee which we loved! We highly encourage you to purchase the beverage package. We added it up and even though my husband doesn't drink alcohol by end of day two it paid for itself. The bottles of water , spring, or sparkling was available all day and on the excursions as well. The wines they poured were premium wines. We didn't see one cheap bottle the whole cruise. We did eat in two specialty restaurants. Chops Grille..yes go! and Giovanni ended up being our favorite! We had steak there as well and they brought all the superb Italian entrees as side dishes for us to try. On Board Activities - highly recommend the Sushi Making Class! Flow Rider was a big hit for my husband! He surfed in the North Sea.. SHOWS and Entertainment-They also took great care in the movies they selected. They were for the region we were cruising to and from, We would wrap up on blankets on the pool deck (get your blankets early this was surprisingly popular) and wrap up and watch the movies. The north sea wind didn't stop anyone! It was very fun. Nice Quiet areas- our favorites areas for solitude was the solarium. We love children but this is a nice quiet area for adults. The steam and Sauna we used daily. I cannot even begin to tell you how wonderful the ports and cities we visited. I highly recommend the excursion Lubeck in Germany. We enjoyed the service on this ship. It was comforting at night to watch the TV with the cruise director and activities director informing us about the next day , very helpful Read Less

The childrens club wasn't as advertised in relation to planned events which we found out on a few occassions when attending them to find none there. The food was excellent and the speciality restaurants were fautless. The disembarkation process was appauling, after ringing reception to check everything was ok, my children were allowed to leave the ship ahead of us and we were prevented from leaving because the card reader hadnt read my card correctly when checking in. I had to wheel my wife in a wheelchair back on board through a large queue of people and through corridors which were littered with laundry bags and rubbish from room clearances. This blocked the corridors which meant i had to keep moving them to get through to the reception area. This was ashame as up to that point we really enjoyed our stay. Read Less

We chose this cruise for my wife's 60th having used P&O before on a number of occasions, sadly things are not what they used to be. The dining experience is now average in terms of product and service, green beans with everything, if they could serve them as a dessert I think they would! Waiters have had cutbacks and are overworked resulting in a poorer service which is not their fault. The dining room ceiling leaked form the air conditioning unit and we had this problem on 3 nights, eventually being moved table. The food was passable and you will not go hungry on the ship as there is always a buffet open somwhere on the ship. The ship is in need of the refurbishment it is currently getting in Brest,France. Our cabin was spacious as it was a deluxe cabin and it was also a bit tired, the grouting around the bath was black and carpets needed replaced. There was a leak in our balcony door which soaked the carpet. However saying all that the bed was very comfortable and cabin steward excellent always ensuring we had everything we need for a comfortable stay. The entertainment was of a good standard, other activities where geared for P&Os elderly clientele and was standard fair, is shuffledeck, table tennis, quizes, bridge clubs and not to mention the ballroom dancing classes in the atrium. The Atrium could be put to better use as it is the hub of the ship and we would have liked to see more live music in this area as it would have helped the atmosphere on the 3 floors which it serves. The Arena theatre is the main area for twice night shows and was very busy on our cruise as the ship was full, (in fact you needed to get to your seat 30 minutes before most shows to ensure a seat). The Havana lounge at the opposite end is a terrible venue and was known as the Meerkat lounge due to the high backed seats (the comedian mentioned he could only see the heads of the audience popping up and down like meerkats). The ports of call were good and excursions offered quite good but certainly not cheap. They do look after your safety though and tend to go a bit overboard sometimes, that was not a pun! Overall we did enjoy our cruise however would avoid going back on the Ventura even after the current refit it is undergoing. The ship is just not to our liking, the Arena's seats are to tight, Havana lounge enough said, no separate Cinema which should be a given on such a large ship. Carnival have striped bare much of the niceties of a P&O cruise and not replaced them with anything. We will try other lines in future to see if there is better value for money to be had. Read Less

There was so much food in quantity and diversity and the quality was second to none. All over the ship there was different entertainment going on so everyone had a brilliant time. We were all treated like royalty and every corner you turned there was a happy smiling faced member of crew. From the moment we stepped on board to the excursions, the staff couldn't do enough for us. This was our first cruise and we were unsure if we would like the experience. We loved the fact we could step off our floating hotel and see different cultures and people. Take in the architecture and sample local foods and wine. What can I say, just outstanding. The staff were friendly and worked so hard and a special mention of our waiter and assistant waiter on table 219, Jason and Pande and Aleks the Sommelier. Didn't see much of our cabin steward but when we did see him he was lovely and kept the room immaculate. The food was exceptional ,one comment though that I think it needs to have more variety on it as it didn't change that much, still had Filet and Chateau Briand and my husband loved the escargots. The ship was beautiful as we expected, could do with some more lifts as they were extremely busy at certain periods of the trip but that was no big deal. Eddie the entertainment director was fabulous as was our Captain "the voice from above", certainly was very visible and mixed with all the passengers which makes a change. The shows were excellent as were the individual acts that came on, Jane Curry was terrific as were the McDonald brothers. The tours were good although the storm in Rome put a slight dampener on things but that's not Celebrity's fault. My husband and myself loved everything about the cruise that whilst on board we booked the next one, roll on September 23rd next year. Read Less

Alas, I was completely disappointed in my experience with this ship. Here are some of the reasons: 1. When the ship docked, there was no one to direct passengers to the gangway. Yes, there were signs posted on the walls, but when a whole crowd of people are in the hallway, the signs can't be seen, and there is a lot of confusion about which way to go - right or left. Some passengers, were even saying that the exit was at the other end of the ship. This same confusion and scenario repeated itself at subsequent ports. It would have been so simple if there was a staff member at, or near the elevators directing people to the exit door leading to the gangway. 2. All the poultry and fish in the main dining room and the Windjammer were overcooked. The gravest, culinary sin was the "Filet Mignon" in the Windjammer, which was way overdone, chewy, and quite ghastly. A hockey puck would have tasted better. 3. The majority of food was also over-salted, yet the scrambled eggs, omelets, etc. had no salt and were quite tasteless. 4. To be fair, the tastiest food on the Navigator of the Seas was the Italian food. This is not my favourite type of food, but it was the tastiest on this ship. 5. For those passengers who do not particularly like gambling or drinking, there were not enough other activities to keep one interested and entertained on this ship. A lot of the activities were quite boring, and too many of them ended up being sales pitches, and "buy", "buy", "buy" events. 6. The shows were amateurish, almost laughable compared to those on the "Allure of the Seas" (for example). They were lacking professionalism, polish and finesse, and they reminded us passengers of high school concerts that just don't quite make the grade. 7. A few times, the Dance Fit classes were scheduled to be held pool side, but because of inclement weather, the activity moved inside to the Cosmopolitan Club, and no announcement was made, so those of us who arrived a minute or two later, had to ask the lifeguard where was the class, and if he did not know, he had us ask the Towel Rental guy about it. Lovely. Such poor communication and customer service for a cruise ship. This was aggravating and irritating to us passengers. 8. The Line Dance class was cancelled, and no announcement was made. Those of us who showed up for it at poolside then thought that it must have moved to the Cosmopolitan Club. So the group of us headed up to the Club. Nothing was happening there, and the personnel there knew nothing about any Line Dance class. Rushing down to Guest Services, we were then informed that the class was cancelled. When we asked why was the cancellation not announced, the answer was that "not too many people are interested in that class". A simple announcement saying that the "Line Dance class has been cancelled" would have been the courteous thing for Royal Caribbean to do for the few of us who wanted to do this activity. 9. Some of us tried to enjoy table tennis, but Deck 14 was so windy for so many days, that it was impossible to play. If this happens more often than not, why doesn't Royal Caribbean devise some sort of enclosure that blocks off the wind so that passengers can enjoy this activity? Thumbs down for this ship, its activities, its entertainment, and its food. Read Less

For this years' family friends group holiday we decided to go for a cruise - and it was one the best decisions. It is very convenient holiday and yet full of everything. It starts with parking your car and ship attendants are already at the car park to pick up your luggage. Once checked in, and on-board, it felt like completely different world. We even joked among our friends that this is the ideal society everybody should be dreaming of - just show you sail card and you get everything you need! It was the magic of the premium package sticker on the card - all you drinks were free - wow. Just walking in to the Sapphire dining room felt great and we are dining there everyday. Windjammer is a great place to eat with lot of varieties of food. It was so good and popular that often you won't find table to sit down!" There were so many activities and entertainment events going on - there was not sufficient time for all of them. Jogging on track on Deck 12 was unique experience. Overall it was a very good trip. Chose this cruise as it was from Southampton (no flying) and 6 nights just about as long as I can leave my elderly mum. 1st time on Navigator, shes a large ship, not the newest but immaculate, beautiful and feels very grand. Loved the fact you can walk around the entire ship on deck 4, and even get right to the front to do a "titanic" pose! From the moment me and the missus boarded we had a ball. Plenty of lively bars, and a late night club on deck 14 that rocked until 5am every night! So many fun things to do during the day, lots of entertainment by the pool decks etc We particularly enjoyed the casino, which was very busy even at 3am. The staff were really fun. The food was great, we mainly ate in the buffet it was that tasty. I would recommend the drinks package as its nice to try a load of different cocktails, and its nice to not sign for anything lol Overall Ive done 5 cruises, and this was my Fav ship and Fav staff. 10/10 Read Less

There were many issues and mainly to do with the dining experience, members of staff, certain basic food and drinks not being available. First, I would like to advise this was my first cruise. I travelled with my mother, and has been on many cruises but never P&O. My mother has always referred to the service as being outstanding on every cruise (cruise Maritime, Thompsons, Fred Olsen). First morning, I attended the buffet breakfast area (conservatory) at around 9.30am to be faced with huge queues waiting for hot food, these queues seem to be taking a considerable amount of time to move. I have been to many 4-5-star hotels all over the world and I expect to queue at busy periods but the queue would always move quickly. After observing for 10 minutes while I wait (moved ever so slightly in this time), it was instantly clear why the queues were not moving. The hot food was not being replenished quick enough, now this was simple things like mushrooms, bacon, fried eggs as so on (basic breakfast food that is normally consumed by most people). I queued and eventually selected what I wanted, but the overall wait was approximately 25 minutes. I did contemplate getting more but the waiting time outweighed the hunger. This continued throughout the duration of the cruise, (every day apart from the last day, this was mainly due to me and my mother arriving at 6am so we could disembark early). Day 3 and onwards, again I had to wait around the same time as above only to be told there was no mushrooms today or they had completely run out. One day that stands out, the 5th day 28th July 2017, I even asked the member of staff behind the counter, only to be told there had not been any mushrooms cooked and there is none being cooked. At my amazement, when I returned to my seat, my mother had mushrooms. Clearly, I was lied to and again they had simply run out, bear in mind, we always attended breakfast between 9am and 10am. The staff in the conservatory buffet seemed very under trained and had no idea how to interact with the guest. Not once did they say, "good morning", Good Afternoon", or Good Evening". Most of the time they spent talking amongst themselves, it also seemed they had their own game going on. I like to watch people, several of the staff would look at each other and make some form of facial gesture, the other one would then laugh, this was though they were insulting the guest and this made me and my mother very uncofortable. As a little test, I left my plate on the side of my table, 3 members of staff were just chatting and laughing, the plate was eventually removed after about 15 minutes. I am unsure what uniform the Management wear, but to me it was a clear there was lack of supervision in the so-called restaurant. I also witnessed a waiter clearing a table and rather than sweep the crumbs etc. from the table on to a tray or their hand, with my astonishment they just swept it on the floor, there was still around 2 hours of service left, appalling. Throughout the duration of the cruise There was no draught Larger in the Crow’s Nest, (well this is what we were advised). The first club dining night, our table (55) had to wait around 45 minutes between starter and main course. This was nothing to do with the waiters. I would like to say the club dining waiters were very professional and an asset to P&O. I I have made an official complaint via P&O website. I have received a reply (took 29 days which falls outside their complaints process, and only I feel i only received a response due to chasing twice) which basically told me what P&O set out to achieve (type of mission/vision statement) but nothing on how they will be dealing with my dissatisfaction. There was also no apology for the late response and they had the cheek to advise they would welcome me back on board. I have replied back to still state my dissatisfaction, and guess what no response. I have even called the customer services to be told we can not put you through to the complaints department, you need to send an email (trust me this doesn't work), I was advised a Manager would call me ASAP (this call took place on 6th September 2017 and i m now writing this on 7th September 2017, and surprise, surprise, I am still waiting for a call. To sum up. DO NOT BOOK A CRUISE WITH P&O and look for an alternative operator. Read Less
