Pluses: lots of storage and hangers, lighting very good, very clean, very sound proof (but see below for suggestions), tv with very current movies and other great selections as well. Negative (only one): If you want two cabins with adjoining doors for family, keep in mind that you can hear the cabin attached. My daughters got a cabin like that but they weren't adjoined to us so they were hearing the people next to them talking early in the morning. So just ask for a cabin without an adjoining door. My stateroom was a "solo" cabin, of which there are 12 on Konigsdam. It was spacious and very well appointed, although I was unhappy that it lacked a comfortable chair in which to read, even though the online diagram showed one. I requested one immediately after boarding and was impressed by the responsiveness of the steward and staff. A nice chair was brought while we were still in port. Read Less

The cabin was well appointed with a full sized glassed shower, full size bed and plenty of storage. It had a large, flat screened television, though television selections were really awful. My only complaint was that it, and all of the single occupancy cabins, are directly below the World Stage and directly above the mechanical spaces so that they can be noisy. Read Less

Nice size. Nice window. One double sized bed. Good closet space. The shower has a glass enclosure. I fear the rubber strips which seal the glass door to the main frame will wear with age, and thus will eventually start to leak into the rest of the bathroom. The toilet sits at an odd angle so that bumping your leg into the shower stall is likely unless you sit crooked from the toilet seat itself. My room, given a single occupancy cabin – and there are only 12 of them - was not smaller than cabins of double occupancy. These cabins are forward on the main deck (deck 1) and the savings for booking one of these is substantial. Book way early. They are gone almost immediately. My cabin lacked the sofa bed that other rooms had, but that did not mean the room was smaller. I was in cabin 1009. Also, in terms of air conditioning, the unit worked very effectively. If I lowered the temperature, I could hear the unit turn on. If it got too cool and I raised the thermostat, it would turn off immediately. I don’t ever recall having the air conditioning be so responsive. Read Less
