The cabin was part of the new addition on deck 12. The large windows in the cabin were tilted out so if you stand in the window you can look all the way down to the ocean. Being this high in the ship was a great way to look out and see more of what is around us while sailing. The cabin was newer than the others on the ship and were very well appointed. The cabin was very clean and had more space than a normal balcony cabin. The one downside to this cabin was whenever they used the bow thrusters the entire cabin would vibrate until they stopped using them. This was not an issue most of the time and actually served as a good alarm clock for arriving into port. Also nothing bad to say about the location as being on deck 12 we were very close to all the pools and the solarium. Read Less

We were lucky enough to be able to book the wedge shaped Panoramic Ocean View room which was everything we had hoped it would be. 5 large windows looking port and slightly forward. Oodles of floor space. Tea and coffee making facilities and a fridge for milk. A little table and two chairs by the windows for morning tea while watching the sun rise and ship sail into port. Bliss. No problems with noise. Convenient for the pool decks, mini golf, gym and spa. Friendly and helpful cabin steward. I would recommend booking early to snap this room up if you can as it is the only one like it. Read Less

We booked one of the new "panoramic" cabins as the balcony cabins had all sold out and we were told that these were the next best cabins, and as they had recently been added they would be the best on the ship we wre in cabin no 1886. Apparently the ones we were in were converted from the old Gym (this may not be correct but frequent cruisers on the ship told us this). One thing they were correct about was they were very spacious and bright, this was the only good thing about them as anyone wishing to play crazy golf had to walk over the top of the cabin, this happened at all hours of the night and most of the time they were running or stomping across. Aditionally the area is also used for sunbathing and the crew think it is a good idea to start setting sunbeds up at 4am, and this was not done quietly! The dividing walls were paper thin which meant any noise from adjoining cabins could be heard clearly. We did not get one undisturbed nights sleep in 14 days! Read Less
