Smaller than I'd like but comfortable and well appointed. Plenty of drawers / shelves, and hangers in the closet. Our stewardess, Kristina, was quick and efficient and courteous. Refrigerator kept stocked (beverages inclusive), plus we had bottled water constantly replenished. Bathroom has full bathtub, which is nice. Double sinks were nice too. Lots of shelves for storage. The stateroom and bathroom were thoroughly cleaned every day. I think next time I will try for a larger room (a penthouse stateroom or suite), because I need a bit more space, but it wasn't bad for a shorter voyage. Read Less

Excellent location, Deck 8, starboard side towards rear of ship. Clean, quiet, lots of storage, large veranda because of location. Very comfortable bedding, air conditioning worked well and responsive to resettings. Could use better reading lights over bed! Bathroom with double sinks and tub shower combo! Getting into tub could be a challenge to a person with mobility issues! Shower is great and the curtain does not encompass your wet body. Heavy robes and slippers. Read Less

I was on a waitlist for this cruise and maybe that is why I was placed in the back of the boat in this type of cabin. The cabin was worn and certainly did not have a 5 star appearance for the 5 star price. Would not stay on Deck 8 again

Cabin: We had a standard Deluxe Veranda SR (B1). Well laid out and handy. Comfortable bed. Storage was adequate with drawers pretty much all around the room. According to the numbers, this SR is suppose to be larger than the standard Celebrity SR, but it just seemed smaller. Not a big problem, just smaller even though the sq ft showed it larger. The bathroom was OK, and had enough storage and two basin sinks. It was a small bathtub/shower with curtain. I wasn’t big on that at all. Like the shower stall only. Bathtub was pretty small. The veranda was small, about half the size of a Celebrity one, but nice chairs and large enough table for breakfasts. Meet our needs fine. This SR only had two outlets. One US One Euro. So I suggest you bring a Euro converter so you can then have two plugs. Not sure of rules on bringing extension cords and multiple head cords. Nearby was a small laundry - very handy. I’ve always said we didn’t need them on a cruise, but it was a nice addition. Read Less

I think I have the category right, but in any case, it was the last cabin aft on the port side. We liked the immediate access to the outdoor area at the back of the ship and this was basically a river cruise, so motion was not an issue. There is some awareness of the engines, but not bothersome on Deck 8. Might be an issue lower down. Crystal cabins are not large, but they're well laid out with plenty of storage and a two sink bath with modest sized tub/shower combination. Maintenance was excellent and our room stewardess a delight. Read Less

Balcony was nice, though due to rough seas we didn't get to use it as much as we would have liked. We would have liked to have had an option for less frequent maid service on some days as we tended to feel like we were in the maid's way - making for a less than relaxing time in our cabins. Closet doors rattled in rough seas - I had to stuff a sock in those doors every night, just in case. Read Less

Very comfortable and excellent location. Decent shower pressure, standing in bath which we otherwise didn't use. Would prefer a larger shower cubicle and no tub. Small coffee table removed as it was in the way.
