This ship is extremely overcrowded. You will stand in lines, push through crowds, and loose most of your excursion time due to waits related to overcrowding. The cabins are too small and balconies are tiny. Don’t bother getting a mini suite, they are the same size as a balcony stateroom. The food was disgusting. We got hard boiled eggs to avoid the nasty powdered ones and when we opened them they were dark brown- completely rotten. We let the station know so they could remove the rest from the buffet and they just nodded and kept handing them out to people. I hope no one got sick. The crew were clearly pulling multiple shifts and were clearly tired, lackluster or appeared frustrated and sometimes angry. One waitress was so tired she sat in our booth to tell us she was on her third consecutive shift and could barely stand up. The ship is obviously very poorly managed. From what I understand some of the other ships in this fleet are managed much better and the experience is therefore better. Also, one of our party members was walking on deck and slipped and broke their leg. There was no wet floor sign. The management gave him a breathalyzer, I don’t think he was even drinking- they just wanted to try and put the fall on him. After that he was stuck in a room and no one from the cruise even checked in on him or made an effort to bring him food. So obviously this ship should be avoided at all costs. Everyone I spoke to said they thought it was a bad experience. I could not find a single person who was happy. That’s saying something when the ship holds around 4,000 people. I will say that our steward was excellent. He did a wonderful job. The child care is also very bad. My child was in the tween group. I put her in for 2 hours. When they got out all of the kids said it was awful. My daughter pulled her bracelet off and stomped on it. Apparently they locked them in a room with nothing to do, no food and no bathroom access. This is long, Bear with me because we are blown away at how unorganized this was. My husband had never cruised before and now he says he has no desire to again. We travel frequently and are late 20s, low maintenance and organized. In the service industry so I’d say more patient than most. Which is why this review is crazy especially because we only got home a few hours ago and here I am! We were ‘double swiped’ into a room in addition to our room we were assigned even though the woman had our passports, she brought back cards with two different peoples names and assigned us, our info, and cc info to their room and refused to admit her fault and kept blaming the system and insisted it was fine. It’s kind of scary to me that she looked at our passports then handed us two totally different peoples cards and called us their names HOLDING OUR OPEN PASSPORTS!!! Please don’t apply to tsa!!! It wasn’t fine as per her supervisor. 1.5 hours later it was rectified and I was still told to confirm with guest services on board to make sure my cc info wasn’t on the other room... what?! It wasn’t in there but we were called back twice to guest services to confirm our room assisgment cause they just couldn’t figure it out. All this could’ve been avoided if she would’ve have read the paperwork she was handed and actually checked instead of being on autopilot. I firmly believe this cruise was over booked. We’re from ny and did not know the week we sailed was spring break in New England, so there were a lot of kids which is fine, irs a family cruise. However the pool and hot tubs say adults only and were constantly full of kids every day. We never once got in the pool because the boat was so crowded and if you go up to the pool deck after 8am you’re not getting a chair. They simply did not have enough chairs or space for every one on board. We sat elbow to elbow with people when they finally did show up after placing towels and books on chairs for hours earlier to hold chairs they did not use til after lunch. We stopped trying to use the gym and jogging track after day 3, no matter what time of day both packed, the jogging track full of kids running around or lounge chairs obstructing it. On the night if day 1 I asked about times of shows for the week and was told there was not a single time for any show available for the remainder of the week. we booked our specialty restaurants far in advance online and thank god cause we spoke to a dozen people who said they had the same package but were told there weren’t any more reservations for any restaurant on the ship. That is unacceptable. The food in the restaurants and dining room was great, as long as you’re ok with waiting over an hour to have a meal for 2. Minimum an hour for lunch in the dining room every day. If not then off to the buffet where there is no variety day to day, food is luke warm at best, if not cold, and kids are putting food from their plates back in the buffet trays. A few days the salad bar had shredded ice berg lettuce that I assumed was leftover from Mexican night the night before and was correct when I saw it was all brown and old. Never any protein for the salad bar, just basic lettuce and a handful of veggies. Not once could I find grilled chicken to put on a salad. Oh and the ‘dress code’ my husband wore khaki shorts and a polo shirt with boat shoes to the bistro and we were told he needed long pants or we have to sit outside by the art exhibit... he asked if he put jeans on instead of khaki/dressy shorts that is preferred and she said yes. Girls inside were wearing leggings with gym sweatshirts and were fine, just makes no sense. However we were happy to oblige with the art exhibit seating after witnessing kids putting their food from their plates BACK INTO THE BUFFET TRAYS!!! No other restaurant enforced this, he wore the khaki shorts the rest of the week. We were 2 hours late to Florida due to weather, fine that’s no ones fault things happen. But due to lack of communication we were held in the meetibgpoint for 3 hours (yes 3 hours!!) before being let off the boat! We got to Kennedy center, all the shows were over, we saw one exhibit and had nothing to do the rest of the time we were there... Great stirrup cay we arrive (we weren’t getting off so we could use the pool) were relaxing outside it’s nice and quiet and after an hour they announce the port was cancelled because the water was too rough for tender boats. It looked calm to me but I’m no captain, Howrver the other ship in port seemed to be fairing just fine... again I believe they were genuinely worried about not having enough space/excursions on their island with two over crowded ships of people. This is where it got scary... now that the port was cancelled and we were sailing to Nassau everyone who was getting off was frantically running up the stairs to get seats at the pool. People came running, diving, throwing things to claim seats, fighting over seats it was unlike anything I’ve ever seen before and I work in nyc and travel via train every day! It was a DANGEROUS scene. Arrive at Nassau at 2pm, too late for an excursion, another wasted day. Next day already in Port in Nassau they didn’t move our excursion any earlier (beach day at Atlantis). Meet up was at 1010am on the ‘outside Piier’ It was chaos. No organization, no direction. Everyone was lost. Although meetup was 1010an we didn’t even walk to buses til 11, and had to be herded in a group to be shown the beach. Not relaxed and using my $100 per person excursion til noon. A whopping 4 hours. Woo hoo. DO NOT pre book excursions on their site, they don’t list all the options, just the expensive ones, then you get on board and there so many more to choose from but youcneeded to cancel/alter 48 hours in advance, conveniently given the paperwork 24 hours in advance. We had the premium beverage package. But the tasting events during the day still had an additional (although reduced) fee to attend. Why would I pay for a martini tasting for little sips of each when I can just get full sizes of each one for nothing? Doesn’t make sense and limited what we could do during the day if we didn’t want to roast in the sun with no chance of getting in the pool. Even the mojito bar had a mojito flight, cost more to get... why?! Why would I pay for small glasses of each I’ll get a full sized of each and if I don’t like it you now throw it down the drain. Does this make sense? Disembarkation for people not using the luggage service we were just guessing where to go, trying each floor, because the pamphlet said nothing about it and actually guest services told us they would announce where to go at 815... good thing we found the already massive line 2 floors up. Thanks ncl for deliberately leaving guests in the dark and causing MORE chaos by just telling everyone to wait til it’s announced so we can all run up stairs with our luggage. All in all very disappointed with Norwegian and will bring our business back to royal, you get what you pay for. **bartenders, servers and our room steward were all nice and friendly and we enjoyed talking with them although sad we got no towel animals :( Read Less

Love Bermuda!!!! We saw this as a great chance to take a quick "Getaway". We love the ship experience as much as the itinerary, but the ship experience wasn't that great. The food and service wasn't that great, from osheehan's to the MDR's, to specialty dining, to the rude staff at customer service(on board). This cruise just seemed a little off, never saw the Captain, we heard him once on last sea day, only saw the CD one time. The entertainment was awesome!!! Our cabin attendant, Eric was awesome!!!!, the best ever. Overall we were disappointed, it was the first time we did not purchase a Cruise Next cert. (this was our fifth NCL cruise). Please please NCL, you have another shot in June to bring us back!!!!!!, this was the only cruise i ever considered reducing the daily gratuities (i just couldn't do it). We look forward to going back to Bermuda in June and finding out this was just a blip on the radar. Read Less
