We were allocated cabin # 2186, inside. Unfortunately we couldn't sleep because of a regular repeating starting and stopping of a nearby motor, possibly a fan or a/c component. The ambient noise for this inside cabin in the bowels of the ship (deck 2) was similar to flying in a modern aircraft, you quickly get used to it but the repetitive startup and stopping noises meant you get wakened up each time just as you are nodding off. (torture !) We did get moved to another similar cabin which was ok but the inconvenience of unpacking, storing your stuff, repacking , moving stuff was a real pain. The fiddly clothes hangers (no hooks) don't make it any easier. Between sleeplesness and packing / moving we ruined almost a full day of the cruise, not getting settled in the new cabin until 1800 next evening. My real annoyance is that Celebrity accepts this is a problem cabin but still stuck us in it when the ship wasn't even full. No excuse for using 'least desirable cabins ' when there are alternatives. The officious manner of the Front Desk Manager and the half hearted gesture of a complimentary meal with so many restrictions and limitations, phone calls made at table by waiters to check our entitlement, embarassment in front of other guests etc made their effort counter productive. A lot to learn, unfortunately. Read Less
A disappointing ship : Cabin 7052
Sail Date: September 2016
Cabin was a good size and well laid out. At night there was no extraneous noise. There were no problems apart from the air congditioning.

We have always taken inside cabins since we do not spend anytime in the cabin other than to sleep or to change our clothes - we chose to spend our money on other things other than spending it on an upgraded cabin. That being said, this was probably the most comfortable inside cabin we have had. We found it to be quite roomy for our needs with plenty of closet and storage place. We also liked the fact that we could request to have our mini-fridge emptied out on the first day of our cruise so we could use it to put our own items in. We never got a chance to actually meet our cabin maid but she certainly did a wonderful job of straightening it up and providing clean towels. In fact we joked that she must have been hiding around the corner waiting for us to leave because it seemed that if we left the room in the morning and we went back for any reason an hour later the room was done. The same for the turn down service in the evening - and I looked forward to our little towel animals every night. Read Less
