Deluxe Ocean View with Balcony 2C (2C) Cabin Reviews

Sail Date: August 2019
This cabin had an extra-large balcony note noted on the deck plans. It is over the showroom but I did not hear any noise. Was a very quiet room.

This cabin is forward on deck 7 just off the elevators in 7072. Never heard annoying noise and the convenience was great. The recent refurbishment meant our cabin felt up-to-date and clean. The showers were always hot, The bathroom was immaculately cleaned twice daily and virtually every time we returned from whatever we were doing, our room had been made up. The housekeeping was flawless. Read Less

The new stateroom design is amazing! Electrical outlets (AC and USB) are everywhere you need them. It had an open feel and plenty of storage space. There were drawers we didn’t even use. The pullman bed worked well for our son. Visually it is appealing. Carpet was soft. Towels were fluffy. Everything worked as designed. I honestly have no suggestions for improvement. Celebrity has perfected a small room design for seasoned cruise travelers like us. The balcony was the only place with minor issues. It is still the same 80 square feet as before the revolution. There was a slight cigarette smoke smell coming from somewhere. I never identified the exact source. During previous cruises aboard the Infinity, we were able to get the stateroom attendant to bring down some longer deck chairs, but this time we were told he was not allowed to do so. My impression is that the rule is more of a “class” thing where they want to reserve such perks only for those with higher status. That’s a shame because this economically-priced balcony has ample room for the long chairs. You can lay the existing chairs all the way back and extend one of them using the table to get a similar effect. Some people criticize these staterooms for being too far forward--making for long walks to all activities. Honestly, I found the opposite to be true. Many of the activities are at the front of the ship--the Sky Lounge, spa, kids’ clubs, theater, Cafe al Bacio are all close by. Yes, you have a hike to the dining room or buffet, but they generally aren’t places we go to several times per day. There isn’t really any penalty for booking a room this far forward. Read Less
Rejuvenation : Cabin 6107
Sail Date: March 2019
Very manageable for husbands handicap scooter. Concerned that there is a step down to get to veranda. In the past there was always a small ramp. Also missed the ability for my husband to have a button to open entrance door.

Very nice, as expected. Bigger than my college dorm room and much better views. Why are there no outlets near the bed? I had to get an industrial extension cord held together with tape to use my CPAP.

Cabin was perfect size. We spent very little time except to shower, dress, and sleep because there was so much fun happening all around us on the ship. If we were looking for a quiet place to enjoy the view we only needed to step out on our balcony. There was plenty of room for a nice drink or to view sunsets and sunrise. Great photos! Read Less

Spacious, comfortable bed and pillows, couch, good storage. Quiet--never heard any noise from above or next to us on either side. Balcony space was nice...we spent a lot of time out there. A slight smell coming from the shower drain and a couple of the shower tiles were cracked. We also knew that the ship was scheduled for dry dock soon. Great location, easy access to elevators. I thought being more forward in the ship we might feel more motion, but all was calm. Read Less

We stayed in a veranda stateroom, and it was small but organized well. I’m glad we had a balcony for extra space. I also think there was a ton of storage that kept us from feeling cramped. I wish that they put real king size beds in the rooms, rather than pushing the beds together. I hated the “bump” in the middle of the bed! Why they don’t just put regular king size beds in the staterooms I don’t understand. It seemed like at least 80% of the guests were couples like us. The location of the room was perfect - midship on the middle deck. We could be anywhere in just a few minutes. We had a very sweet, polite and professional stateroom attendant in Kavish. He did a great job Read Less
