Until it was fixed, we could hear the people next door talking, opening their safe, etc. Concierge desk was very helpful. Fixed door and helped with dinning request. Read Less

Typical Conceirge class balcony cabin. Because the ship is due for a complete makeover, furnishings and fittings in the stateroom were a bit outdated and run down. But the cabin was lept meticuloisly clean and well supplied.

The room had decent space and good furnishings. We enjoyed the covered balcony. Our room attendant Alfredo was very good and took great care of us, including opening our door when he would see us coming down the hallway. The room was located near the rear of the ship and we didn't notice much wave movement at all. There were three main negatives with this room. 1)The bathroom smelled quite musty/moldy. While it didn't get better during the cruise, I think we just got used to it. We even talked about bring a Febreze spray he next time we traveled (regardless of cruise line). 2) The width of the room was tight and it wasn't possible for two people to walk past each other at the end of the bed. Not a major issue, but something we noticed. and 3) There was no walk-in closet so again it was nearly impossible for two people to be near the closets if someone was opening drawers, etc. Again, not the end of the world. The cabin was clean and allowed ample room and storage/closet space for two people. I liked the closet being away from the bed area, which allowed for both people to access it, unlike the closets on the Solstice Class ships that are by one side of the bed. The bathroom was the smallest I've seen on a cruise ship and boringly white. The bathroom floor needed mopping. Clothespins (which I brought) kept the shower curtain in place. Read Less
