Overall Outstanding! : Cabin 8162
Sail Date: July 2019
Quite spacious cabin, with a very comfortable bed, and a decent size balcony. Plenty of closet space, as well as drawer space. It also has a mini fridge and safe.

Stateroom was comfortable and the balcony was, of course, a wonderful plus, especially in Bermuda, where we could see the double clocktower morning and at night: Beautiful! The beds were comfortable, although certainly not plush. Shower was a great fit for us, but we are small (both under 5'6") people. I can see how it would be difficult for larger people to get in and out. Good to see that shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, and hairdryer were supplied. The steward, Marilou, was outstanding. Always there. All in all, a great cabin experience. Read Less
Good but not great : Cabin 6136
Sail Date: May 2019
Cabin was completely refurbished in March 2019 drydock. Everything was new and in top condition. Though tastefully furnished, it seems less than plush.

Loved it! Well, the balcony in particular. It is huge! 4 chairs and table; 1 lounger and 2 recliners with footstools. The cabin itself is pretty standard, although I particularly liked the shelving that runs down one wall by the mirror and found it very useful for storing things. It's in a quiet area - when sitting out on the balcony we could hear the music from above in the evening, but that was quite nice, actually. Didn't hear the music in the room with the balcony door shut. Half the balcony is covered, so even if it rains, you could still sit near the cabin without getting wet, or being seen from those above. I asked for a kettle and was provided with one so that I could have my cups of tea whenever I wanted. Read Less

As I mentioned earlier, our cabin was 8176, which was an aft cabin that we really wanted to sail in again. We have sailed in aft cabins on M-class ships six times before and they have the most amazing verandahs that are both huge and give you an 180 degree view of everything. That's Kathleen standing on our verandah below. The best part of this stateroom was our stateroom attendant, Eddie (that's him with Kathleen below). In more than 23 cruises, we have never had a stateroom attendant as great as he was to us. He was the hardest working, most congenial guy on the ship and he made our entire cruise better than it would it have been with anyone else taking care of us. Read Less
