Our cabin was assigned upon payment as we booked the cruise just a few weeks before departure. An aft-facing balcony, I understand that it was a premium cabin. It was spacious by cruise-ship standards and had a well-designed bathroom with a very functional shower stall and plenty of storage. The bed was near the windows, and the space included a desk area, a large sofa, and a small closet. The balcony was small but usable. The only caveat I would offer has been mentioned by other cruisers: It was a very long walk from the nearest stairwell/elevator bank. This wasn't a problem for us, but if you are mobility compromised, you might want to consider a cabin closer to midship. Read Less

Cabin 9238. This cabin was very quiet, since there are cabins above and below. The sofa is next to the balcony. The room safe takes up a lot of space in the closet. (On the Equinox, the safe was moved to a spot above the mini-fridge.) There was lots of storage space for two, and we even had empty drawers in the bathroom. Internet speed was acceptable and emails downloaded well. We didn’t do any streaming, so we have no comments about that. Be aware that if you split the beds into two doubles, the closet will be less than a foot away from the bed, making for a tight fit. The third bed is totally hidden in the ceiling. Read Less

This cabin is located "on the hump" in the middle of the ship. The veranda is just a bit bigger than regular because it's on the slant of the hump. In addition, it's on the rear side of the hump, so as the ship is sailing, you don't get a lot of wind out there. We had the beds pushed together to make a large bed. The bed is situated next to the sliding glass door to the veranda. This left a sitting area between the bed and the bathroom. Since the closet is parallel to the bed (on the other side of the sofa), this makes it easier to get in and out of the closet. The closet is a bit smaller than we're used to on cruises. However, the bathroom has much more additional space than we're used to! In addition there are shelves with doors above the bed that provided good space for clothing. We were disappointed to find a 3-shelf stand on each side of the bed instead of the usual 2 drawer nightstand. The hair dryer provided in the room required one to hold the button to keep it running. I was glad I brought my own! We brought a ship-approved power strip that gave us 3 usb charging ports and 2 3-prong US outlets. That gave us plenty of charging accessibility. We also brought 4 strong and 4 medium magnetic hooks that were essential to keeping order in the cabin. We strongly recommend bringing magnetic hooks. In addition the ship had two hooks on the wall opposite the bathroom door as well as two on the bathroom door and two in the shower. (We used two of our magnetic hooks to hold all the paperwork on the wall so it didn't overwhelm the limited counter space in the cabin.) There was plenty of room under the bed for our two hard sided suitcases (and we put our carry on inside one of the suitcases), keeping the cabin free of the extra suitcases. Read Less

Our cabin was very clean and well-appointed, particularly the bathroom. Our cabin attendant Rudiyanto was exceptional and made our cruise even more enjoyable with his attention to detail. The only minuses would be: (1) the balcony outdoor furniture needs to be refurbished and (2) a couple of bottles of drinking water need to be provided in the cabins free of charge, as it is a necessity of life. Water should NOT be an extra! Celebrity Cruises could add this extra water cost on to the cost of the cruise and no one would ever notice. Read Less

Our verandah cabin on Deck 9 was a little narrow with limited storage (especially shelf) space for small clothing items. The TV offered virtually no Australian TV Channels (on ABC channel would have been nice!) and only a limited choice of mainly ancient movies (eg Ben Hur!). The bathroom was spacious and well-appointed. The deck furniture had been hammered by the weather and needed re-staining or replacement. Read Less
Wonderful!!!! : Cabin 9292
Sail Date: March 2017
Great spot, especially if you can't manage to walk a long way, right near the lifts and straight down to the 3rd floor for dining, Casino and bars. Extremely well looked after by our cabin steward, Wayan.

The cabin was very comfortable. We enjoyed having a balcony though, of course, we weren;t on the cruise to spend lots of time in the cabin. There was plenty of room for the two of us. We were able to stow our suitcases under the bed. The wardrobe was spacious enough for our clothes and there were plenty of hangers. There were 4 drawers under the dressing table and a hairdryer was supplied. We particularly found the two long cupbloards over the bed which came in useful for storing cabin bags, hats, etc. The shower room was spacious with lots of shelf space. Toiletries were replenished daily. Towels were soft, smelt clean and fresh and were replaced regularly. We were very lucky with our Stateroom Attendant, Zamzam, who always greeted us warmly and kept the cabin spotless and tidy. Read Less
