Cabin was spacious, comfortable and tastefully decorated. We especially loved the roomy bathroom with the rainfall showerhead. Plush towels and bathrobes were provided in the room but no slippers! The room was also supposed to come with an extra hand held hairdryer, but apparently this is on request only. i.e. if you request one, one will be brought to you. Read Less

The room was great. I wanted to make certain we had an unblocked view and we did. We were on deck 10 (Room 1166 though) and the view was not blocked. We didn't get any folded animals out of our towels at night and I supposed that was my biggest disappointment in the room...still, not a big deal! I didn't ask for them, so I possibly could have gotten some had I requested them. The mini refrigerator did not work but was fixed on day 2 or 3. We didn't make purchases from it, but it was great to keep your drinks cold in there. We would bring drinks into our room after we picked them up at the bar or restaurant. The waste basket in the bath needed re-attaching and was fixed on day 3 or 4. It actually fell out and onto the floor and hit my big toe (ouch) so be careful how far you pull that door open until you know for certain it's secure. The nightlight in the bathroom worked the first night and then went out. We had it fixed towards the end of the cruise; it was great. The shower is small, but still not as small as the ones in Rome. Even with these 3 minor problems, the room was absolutely GREAT. It was cleaned twice a day and we received the 4 pm canapés platter (request the fruit platter if you don't prefer olives, dip and crackers). Read Less

The cabin was very nice. It is on port side with a veranda. There was enough space for all of our clothes in the closet and drawers.

For the most part, it was a very good room. Great view, liked being on the bump 'out' instead of the cut 'in'. Room are showing a bit of wear, though, our couch had a very noticeable tear. Even though the room was close to the elevator, it was fairly quiet - the only noise we ever heard was from our rather boisterous next door neighbors. HOWEVER - there was a LOT of rattling coming from the ceiling panels, and from the balcony dividers. We ended up having to rig them up ourselves with napkins or tissues just so we could get some sleep. Read Less

It was tight. But I loved the balcony. Toilet is so tiny you have no elbow room. Check for stained sheets and sticky fridge, even dirty switches and blow dryer

Celebrity vs. Princess : Cabin 1136

This cabin was 194 sq. ft., smaller than the comparable balcony on Princess at 232 sq. ft. The balcony itself was slightly larger than Princess (54 sq. ft. vs. 47 for Princess). The main difference between these ships is the space allocation within the cabin. The Celebrity bathroom is almost twice as roomie as Princess'. The shower is much more spacious and the sink area is much less cramped than on Princess, a major advantage to Celebrity. However, the large bathroom comes at the expense of much less closet space on Celebrity. Princess offers a true walk-in closet with easily twice the clothes-hanging space as the tiny reach-in wardrobe on Celebrity, which has annoying sliding double doors that limit access to only half the closet at a given time. A major advantage to Princess. The Concierge Class upgrade offered very little in real value. The daily afternoon appetizers were sparse and something we never used after the first day. Not worth the extra money. Read Less

Stateroom 1128 was a good location, on the starboard side, just aft of the central bulge. Very early in the afternoon we were advised our staterooms were ready so off we went to check them. Very nicely laid out with a queen size bed, plenty of storage in the wardrobe, cupboards and drawers and heaps of room under the bed for our bags. There was a three seater sofa and the expected bar fridge. The bathroom was excellent, again plenty of storage, a good size shower with Grohe shower head. As Concierge class guests we were greeted with a bottle of Champagne on ice, fresh fruit and canapes. We also had at our disposal quality shower robes, binoculars, an umbrella and we had a range of pillows to choose from, just to ensure we had a pillow that suited us. Read Less
