Deck 10, CC2 stateroom 1194. We were the last stateroom on the starboard side of the ship, and our friends were in the exact same location port side, cabin 1401. These cabins had slightly oversized balconies. We love the layout of the new staterooms. A lot of people have written in their reviews that there is not enough storage in the S-Class cabins, but we found the layout even better for us than the storage on the M-Class ships. I can see how the over the bed storage would be difficult for some people to access, but as I'm 5' 9", and my husband is even taller we had no problems utilizing this space to the max. The desk/bar area is much more user friendly then on the M-Class ships, and we loved all the bathroom storage. The large flat screen interactive TV was also a welcome addition. And we especially loved the balcony furniture: it's comfortable enough to sleep on, which I did several afternoons after dozing off reading a novel. Read Less

Cabin was larger than I remember on Carnival Conquest or Glory. Bathroom was definitely larger, well lit, and had a large walled shower that was really nice. The rooms are outside of the atrium and along a hallway near the elevator and library. It was always quiet, day or night. The balcony was always relaxing with a view of the navigation tower. Balcony furniture was very comfortable BUT THERE WAS NO LIGHT ON THE BALCONY so at night you could hardly see the hand in front of your face. Once totally dark it was spooky to be outside with no lighting. I guess that would be my only negative comment; no light on the balcony. The cabin steward, Ronnie, was the best! Read Less

Expanded balcony because of the proximity to the hump, and because it is on the backside of the hump, shielded from the wind. Probably the best cabin in its class.
