We liked the itinerary and staying overnight in Aruba. 3rd time on Celebrity and enjoyed all. This one really the best we've been on. Overall food was excellent, service probably the best we've had, and what helps was the fact everyone else was happy. When you have happy cruisers, everyone has a better time. The Halloween party was a hoot! Lots of costumes, great party, excellent cruise director. Damien Our wait staff exceeded our expectations. Thanks to McKoy, Heston and Komang. Saara the hostess was very accommodating, trying to get us set with the same servers every night. Did I say the food was the best we've had?? Yes, all meals in the dining room were first rate. The entertainment was over the top. The ships own show was great, got a standing ovation. They did a 70's 80's rock and roll show, excellent singing and dancing routines. The comedy magician did a great job, funny, entertaining, wish he could have preformed more nights. Wife loved the coffee shop, and kind of coffee, expresso, etc. Pool area had really no problem getting a deck chair. Embarkation was a breeze, walked right on. Want to plan next year out of San Juan. Only flaw was disembarkation, to walk off. There were just too many people wanting to walk off. Read Less

This was our third cruise with Celebrity. Previously sailed on Solstice, (2010) and Equinox, (2015). We spent two nights before the cruise at the Riverside Hotel on Las Olas in Ft. Lauderdale which I would highly recommend. Cab fare to Port Everglades was about $25 with tip. Check-in and embarkation were very easy and quick. Cabins were ready shortly after we boarded. We were supposed to sail at 4:30pm but didn't actually get underway until 5:30pm. Heard some rumors aboard the ship that delay was due to some late arriving flights that passengers had booked through Celebrity. Our cabin was on Deck 7 Starboard/Aft with a veranda. Typical cruise ship cabin, neatly appointed with very good cabin steward service. We had second seating dinner in the main dining room and were fortunate to have great table mates. Overall the meals and service were quite good. We did have one night where the service was off but I think it was a kitchen issue as opposed to the waitstaff. As we were celebrating our 30th Anniversary I made a reservation for Tuscan Grille one night. The meal was excellent! Perhaps one of the finest filets I've had anywhere. We always make an effort to go to the show each evening and the entertainment on board was exceptional. The only act that I felt was a bit flat was the Michael Buble tribute group, Shades of Buble. David James Guidice who is a Billy Joel tribute performer was quite good. We customarily book shore excursions through the ship and did so again this time. This was our first visit to any of these ports. Key West we took the Old Town Trolley tour, we were there during Fantasy Fest which made for some interesting sights and photos! The ship overnighted in Aruba. We arrived in the afternoon. We took a sunset catamaran cruise which was great and mother nature cooperated for tremendous photos! The next day we took a Best of Aruba Motor Coach tour for 3 hours that stopped at the Aloe factory as well as other highlights such as California LIghthouse. We were able to get a few hours in at a beach before departing. Bonaire was OK but not sure I would make an effort to return in the future. Apparently a Diver's dream destination, other than that there isn't much to do. We did take a motorcoach tour, and the guide was quite knowledgeable. We then took a snorkeling trip on board a private yacht. It was extremely windy that day and many water based excursions were cancelled due to the rough waters. Our tour guide Dave was great and was helpful to those who had difficulty with snorkeling in rough waters. The excursion finished with rum punch, champagne and hor d'oeuvres for everyone! Curacao was a tremendous place and I'm disappointed we didn't spend more time there. We arrived at 7:00am and departed at 3:00pm. We took a great excursion to a resort hotel on the water and were able to enjoy the gorgeous water and beach for a few hours. Got back to the dock in time to rush into town for some quick shopping and photos! As always I enjoy the relaxation of sea days. No timetable to adhere to. Was able to get through four books on this cruise as well! I'm always pleased with Celebrity and took advantage of the on board offer to book a future cruise with great perks. We have until December 30 to decide where we will go. Arrived back at Port Everglades to find four other ships in port! Customs was crowded but the officers did a great job in expediting the process. A bit taxing for the taxicabs. Had to wait about 20 minutes in line for a cab, which took us to the Marriott on Hollywood Beach. A great hotel in a great location to unwind from a cruise. One of the greatest things of this trip, we were able to avoid the last two weeks of the political advertising nonsense! Read Less
