Very impressed with the room layout and size. We did have one problem when the commode would not flush the all the sudden the water came on by itself and overflowed. Had a little issue with language barrier with the night shift guy cleaning up but we called and they sent him back with chemicals to clean the floor. I would have thought I would have been talked to by a dayshift supervisor since we had to call three times to get everything back in order and lost a bunch of sleep. Read Less

Our cabin was very nice. Deck 6 is the first deck that has balconies. Many balconies have an obstructed view, due to the life boats. Our cabin was forward of the life boats with no obstruction (I assume that's why it's called a Deluxe Veranda). It is located on the forward, starboard side of the ship, just above the "C" in Celebrity Equinox. It is also above the Equinox Theater. Some afternoons we could hear music from rehearsals or afternoon shows going on, but the noise never bothered us at night. The musical shows are over by 10pm and we were at the light night comedy shows. Worst case for any early to bed people, is the noise will end around 11pm. Ample storage under the bed for 2 large suitcases and 1 small carry on. Drawers are very limited, but there is storage above the bed and a shelf in the closet. The Equinox went through a shortened "Revolution" in June and it was obvious that no work was done in our cabin- other than new balcony chairs and new bedding. Nothing was dirty, but the carpeting, sofa and chair had wear from age. Our cabin steward emptied the honor bar on embarkation day as we asked. We brought 2 bottles of champagne, but our fridge never got cold enough, so we had to request ice to chill the champagne. Our cabin steward brought it every afternoon until the Champagne was gone. Great service. Read Less

There is wasted space in the closet. There's too much room for hanging clothes, which could be better utilized with a little more shelving. We had a veranda, and we spent a lot of time out there reading, especially on days at sea. Areas of the ship were refurbished in May 2019, and the bedding in the cabins were redone and comfortable. This cabin is on 1 of 4 "humps" on Solstice Class ships. The lifeboats are under these cabins rather than in front of them. You pay less for deck 6, but get the same view as everywhere else. Cabin was wonderful. We were port-side aft, and it was very quiet. Plenty of room and storage. Not much was done to this cabin in the "Revolution", but nothing seemed dated or worn. Bathroom was a very good size for a ship. Our Steward Putu was excellent. He brought us ice twice daily and kept the room. He greeted us by name whenever we would pass him in the hallway. He brought us towels before each port day. Read Less

Cabin adequate. Didn’t spend much time in it. Verandah big enough to have a meal on.
