Fantastic Girls Trip! : Cabin 7460
Sail Date: June 2016
Our cabin was extremely nice and spacious. We loved how quite it was in the rear of the boat. We enjoyed our extended balconies and used them frequently.

Dream is a nightmare. : Cabin 8454

We had excellent cabin personnel. Cabins were small and noisy. Just a shower. You could hear all the grunting from the neighbors next door which seemed to go on continously.

The balcony was basically unusable because there was soot coming from above constantly falling on you and anything you had on. It also turned your feet black. There was no couch in this room as expected.

We had our first ever Aft Balcony on Deck 8 and it was amazing. Yes, it got a bit warm in our stateroom, but I was prepared with a 6" portable fan. Yes, you felt a wee bit of movement at times during the night but it was never an issue. There was a pattern of vibrations and then nothing at all, and this occurred a couple times during the nighttime hours. The extended deck was awesome, but be forewarned that although deck plans indicate reclining chair, standard chair, and lounge, there was NO LOUNGE on our balcony. We were informed that they were removed due to safety concerns. Now this is why I booked the aft cabin - to lounge in the morning, afternoon, or evening. I requested & received a lounge and assured them that I would not trip over it, as was the new concern. We had our twin beds converted. There was a sofa and an oval cocktail table. There was also a small stool by the vanity area. Cabin had a safe and a refrigerator (which really does not chill items). This room could easily accommodate 3 passengers. Bathroom was standard. Closet & drawer space was ample. Read Less

Carnival needs to train their people on exactly what the cabins include. We had 1 closet to hang our clothes in. No sofa as we were told. The balcony had 2 chairs no lounger and we were assured that our adjoining balconies could have the doors opened when we booked. They refused to open them on the cruise. Said it was a safety issue. The room was very small and about the same as a regular ocean view room on the Fantasy. Read Less
