This was our first cruise on P&O as we have previously cruised with Carnival, Thompson and Princess. We chose to go from Southampton this time as Mum has recently moved in with us, after losing Dad in January this year and we wanted to give her the cruise experience. Mum has never flwon before so we reluctantly opted for P&O from Southampton. Well we had a fantastic time. The ship is spotless (only a couple of years old) and our disabled cabin was amazing. We had a disabled balcony cabin (C302) on deck 10 and it was a really large cabin with a great wet room style bathroom, plenty of wardrobe space and tea & coffee facilities, which Mum loved and a huge balcony space. Entertainment and food was faultless and ports of call were amazing. We have booked our 2nd P&O cruise for 2016 in April for mine and Mums birthday, this time on the Ventura and cruising the Canaries for 2 weeks, however we are also off to the Med at Christmas with MSC, so Mum is taking her first flight!!! Who knows where we will end up if she enjoys flying!!! Definately recommend this ship and P&O. The only neg I can think of is the crew were a bit less "attentive" than we are used to on other cruise lines, but all in all a fab holiday. Read Less
