General Info

The cruise sets sail from the port of New York on October 22, 2019, aboard 1,754-passenger Disney Magic. The five-night cruise includes an overnight call on King's Wharf, Bermuda, before returning to New York on October 27.

The voyage has already sold out, so if you want to go, you should sign up for the waiting list by putting down a $199 deposit. (If you are offered a stateroom, the deposit is non-refundable, but if not, you will get your money back.)

Lineup and Highlights

There's a plethora of movie and TV stars slated as guests on the 2019 cruise. Headliners include multiple award winner (and Hollywood Walk of Fame star recipient) Cicely Tyson; actress Diane Ladd; classic TV and movie star Mitzi Gaynor; Jeopardy TV host Alex Trebek; movie critic Leonard Maltin and Randy Haberkamp, managing director of preservation and foundation programs for the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences,

Popular hosts of Turner Classic Movies will also be there, including Ben Mankiewicz, Alicia Malone, Dave Karger and Eddie Muller.

Events on tap include classic film screenings on the ship's big screens and theaters, panel discussions, trivia, dancing, music and themed activities.

Onboard Vibe

Get ready to be surrounded by fellow film lovers: this ship is going to be all movies, all the time, for the entire cruise. In fact, Disney Magic was chosen specifically because its theaters can accommodate high-quality video and audio screenings of films.

From behind-the-scenes stories through interactive panels to special presentations, the experience is described as a "classic movie paradise at sea."

While some movies might be kid-friendly, there are no movie selections specifically for children, so families with young ones might not be able to participate fully.

Who Would Like It

This cruise is meant for classic movie buffs who want to socialize with other movie lovers over panels and behind-the-scenes insight
